    WINGS!!!!!!

One of my most favourite places to socialise in Belfast. Great beer garden and funky private hire room out back. Excellent selection of drinks if you're looking something a bit different and some alternative music at the weekend. Plus the best chicken wings in Belfast, what more could you want!

The Hudson is a cracking wee drinking hole. Plenty of different ales and lagers and they often have offers on. The outdoor space is the Hudson's crowning glory. There are plenty of quirky little corners and the heel bar is a great private space that can be reserved for parties. They also do good quality bar snacks - burgers, wings and the like so you don't need to worry about hitting up the dirty burger van after you've been for a few jars. They also have excellent djs in the yard. Great spot.

    Yum!

Another good find. Great place if your looking for a pint and a cheap feed. Good wings and great prices. Staff are all very attentive and nice atmosphere. Definately worth a return journey!

Don't bother. Less than mediocre American cover music, prevalent smoking, and limited food service.

The wings were very good, my friends raved about the scampi and ribs as well.

The ambiance, service and food were all excellent! I ordered the 16 ounce Chateau Briand filet cut, and finished searing the slices on the hot rock at the table just to my liking. The steak was excellent, and the experience was great fun! I paired it with a local Rye River Lil' Bangin' IPA and was very happy! Price was reasonable. My wife had the Chicken Supreme and also greatly enjoyed her meal. We would visit regularly if it was in the States! Will visit again when back in Belfast.

Effectively, you finish your own meats on a hot stone brought to your table. It is great for steak since you have no one to blame but yourself if it ends up over cooked. We decided to go with the 3 course theater option. What a deal! Honestly, I was expecting to drop a lot more cash for a steak dinner and figured they would have to make up for it by providing smaller portions, however, that was not the case. We started with mussels and the goat cheese. Tons of mussels in a tasty white sauce made my day. The goat cheese dish was just ok. We got a steak meal and a tuna for our mains. Loved them both. Then, we opted for an amazing Baked Alaska for dessert - great call and highly recommended. Service was on point. I appreciate how often they checked in, whether to see if we need more drinks or to ensure we were comfortable with our food. They never made us feel rushed nor did they intrude. As I mentioned, the price was well within line of expectations and the special was a deal. They did not skip on overall value at any point of the meal. I am not sure if I'll be back to belfast, but if I am, I will be back to Stix and Stones.

The ordering and payment system here was streamlined (done via QR code), and everything was prepared and brought out in short order. The highlight, of course, was the Peri-Peri Chicken, which came in many forms/cuts, and I got the half chicken, a skin-on, bone-in breast and leg piece. You can also select a spice level ranging from Plainish (Extra Mild) to Extra Hot, and I went for extra hot, just to see how much heat they could bring. But that's not all! At the self-serve counter were even more sauces, including wild herb, lemon & herb, and garlic, along with peri-peri sauces of all different spice levels, so you could experiment with many different flavor combinations. Along with the chicken, I also got the Rainbow Bowl, a combination of several vegetarian sides including spiced grains & butternut squash, long-stem broccoli, hummus, pickled golden carrots, and rainbow slaw (shredded cabbage and carrots in a tangy dressing), sprinkled with pumpkin and sunflower seeds. All the components of the bowl were fresh and delicious and went nicely as a side to the spicy chicken!
