She cleaned and organized the kitchen cabinets and counter which was covered with stuff. She cleaned the refrigerator, partially, did 1 load of laundry and cleaned 1 bathroom. I booked an appointment a few days out for a 2 hour cleaning. The booking went through and things seemed all set up, with even a confirmation email coming through. Well, it turns out the booking wasn't confirmed at all. I got an email at 11:30 pm the night before the cleaning telling me they didn't have anyone for the time I booked, leaving me to scramble to find someone else same day. So basically, I wouldn't trust their "booking" system very much. read more

The cleaner who came was very sweet, they did an okay job cleaning, but the business owner was not pleasant to work with. They reached out via text, email, Venmo, and voicemail in the same day to get a $35 fridge cleaning fee that they never told me about up front. It just felt very pushy. We resolved it in the end but it made me not want to do business with him again. read more

I contacted several cleaners to see about having my window cleaned in Brooklyn. Leigh was the only one who came to see the job in person. To top it off, Bungalow's price was the best quote by far. I scheduled the job for a few days later. These windows have probably not been touched in over a decade. I was not delusional enough to think these windows would be pristine crystal clear when they were done. But they definitely did the best with what they could. Windows looked great when cleaner was leaving. That said, the next morning when the light struck the window perfectly, the front window did not look great. I emailed Leigh and he personally came back with the cleaner a few days later to re-do that window. No questions asked. Very happy with the service and would definitely use again! read more

If I could give ten stars, I would! My husband and I moved into a family property, which still had all of our relative's belongings and needed some upkeep. Adding all of our possessions to the mix, and then finding out we were pregnant, did not help the situation in the least. We started to renovate, but when baby arrived we got overwhelmed and stopped to deal with the piles of clutter and our new little one. I knew that a regular housecleaning company wouldn't make any difference whatsoever in our home, so I started looking up companies that specialized in organization and anti-hoarding. I chose Bungalow because it had a great rating and because Leigh, the owner, was responsive, professional, and seemingly undaunted by the magnitude of the clutter. After seeing pictures of our home, he gave us a quote and we settled on a date. I couldn't have been more impressed with the team that Leigh provided. He came over personally to see the space and to brief the cleaners on the game plan for the day. The difference was unbelievable. The cleaners worked tirelessly for nearly ten hours, and the entire time, were extremely polite, respectful, and had the most positive attitudes. They never once made me feel bad about the mess or the clutter. Leigh even came back at the end to check on the progress that had been made. We've now had our second cleaning with Bungalow and their team and we finally have a house that is comfortable to live in, and where I don't have to apologize when I have people over. Together we've worked out an ongoing plan to keep the house in order. Leigh and his team of professionals have made such a difference for us. I was left with a room, covered in drywall dust, from construction my landlord had done. With zero remorse, I was left to clean this mess of a room, on my own. Don't get me wrong, I clean my apartment, when I make the mess, but I was seething that I had to clean up a mess caused by my landlord. Down to the details of dusting every nook and cranny, individual pieces of jewelry, office equipment, EVERYTHING. Have you ever experienced drywall dust? It's extremely fine, white dust, that lightly coats everything in site. I wasn't having it, I decided to hire out to do this job. I looked into my neighborhood cleaning services and came across Bungalow Cleaning Services. The reviews were wonderful, welcoming even and I decided to call. Leigh came to my house before the agreed time, to drop off the cleaning equipment and ask me questions about what I was looking for in my cleaning. I appreciated his questions as it allowed me to give some reasoning behind why I was hiring the service. Channing, was my angel for the day. She came on time, and after a short conversation about what was needed, got right into cleaning. If cleaning started at say 12:00pm, Channing was all done by 3:30pm. I realized I forgot to tell Channing one important detail to my room, that I wanted her to clean my fan. At the end of her cleaning, she made mention of the fan and how she cleaned it! I was ELATED that she was proactive in cleaning the details. I was a bit nervous to take a look at my room, I even waited a couple hours after she had left! When I finally went to see, my anger immediately vanished and a calm serenity took over. I was in heaven with the amount of care and detail, Channing showed in cleaning my room. This is the only cleaning company you'll ever need to know about. I don't think I've ever been so happy with any kind of service. From start to finish, the whole experience with Bungalow was easy and amazing. The online booking and invoice ahead of time is so convenient. I even had to reschedule at one point and Leigh was SO QUICK to respond. Our cleaner Lyndon did an amazing job. I think the term "above and beyond" was invented to describe his work. Coming home from work to the most spotless apartment I've ever seen is the best feeling. I ordered a move-out clean from Bungalow for the day after a rough and tiring transferral of my furniture and things to my new apartment. As you can imagine, the floor was populated by tape, dustballs, and a hodgepodge of random items and knick knacks that had lost their way in the packing process. Linden, the cleaner, arrived ready and willing to take it all on. While I left to run some errands, he took the initiative to gather those random leftover items into a box, right down to the loose change salvaged from various nooks and crannies. He even took down the curtains we'd forgotten to pack. By the time I got back from errands, he had already cleaned the apartment with a thoroughness it had never seen before. The windows, oven, and fridge were gleaming, the floor was spotless, and the bathroom transformed into a shining abode. He needed absolutely no direction, let alone any reminders to go over hard-to-reach or easy-to-miss areas. He was also super warm and courteous, and treated my belongings with great care. Bungalow cleaning services made my apartment sparkle! Leigh and his staff even worked around my crazy dog in a crate. I left my apartment in the morning wondering if they would be able to conquer the never-ending dog hair and dust bunnies that I never seem to completely get. Highly, highly recommend this company. I had a cleaning emergency and needed to arrange a deep-cleaning of a Brooklyn apt. at a day's notice. Bungalow was the only service I tried who was able to come at such short notice, and they did a *fantastic* job. Leigh, the owner/manager was v. responsive; called me back promptly, discussed my situation and could give me an estimate over the phone. Next morning he showed up right on time along w/ the cleaner (Christine), a high-powered vacuum, and a huge suitcase of cleaning supplies. After assessing the job, he gave me a very reasonable rate ($190 for a deep-clean of a 1-BR apt.), then he took off and Christine got to work, methodically deep-cleaning ev. surface, nook, and cranny of the apt., including the ceiling pipes (!), and the insides of ev. cupboard and drawer. I don't even think she took a break for 6 hrs. Our place was spotless. I was so relieved & grateful I gave her a $40 tip. V. professional & outstanding service. read more

I was incredibly disappointed in this service. We hired Bungalow to clean or apartment before we moved in. I was willing to spend the $180 because I wanted a good service and from reviewers, that's what I expected. However, the cleaner came an hour late claiming that they thought the appointment was at 10am instead of 9am, even though all of our email correspondence included confirmation that the cleaning would start at 9am. Then, when we moved in the next day, the floors of the kitchen still had dirt on them and the cabinets (outside) were incredibly sticky. It was clear that while they cleaned the surface of the stove, not much else was cleaned. I'm not sure what they did in the 3-5 hours they claim it took to clean the place, but it did not show when we arrived the next day. We reached out for a refund and have not heard back from the owners. read more

I don't write 5-star reviews lightly, but I absolutely mean it when it comes to Bungalow! They have done A+++ jobs on deep cleaning my apartment when I have used them for "spring cleaning" and have done as good a job when I've used them for touch-ups in between. I use cleaning services mostly for quarterly(ish) deep-cleaning, and realized just how amazing Leigh and his team were when I used a different (but highly yelp-rated) service a few months ago. Never again. I ended up calling Bungalow to come ACTUALLY clean the place less than a week later!! Added bonus for those of you with dogs -- they have very pet friendly folks. We have a rescue pittie and everyone that has come to clean our apartment has been wonderful to her. You won't go wrong using this team -- highly recommended!! read more

An excellent no-stone-unturned cleaning of my very dirty apartment, for a very reasonable price. Every little nook and cranny was cleaned--bathroom tile gleaming, the carving in a mirror frame was totally free of dust. Channing, who cleaned the apartment, was so thorough that she found my favorite scarf that I thought I'd lost months ago--I had looked all over my apartment for it and hadn't found it, but she unearthed it behind a loveseat.
