I need to update this review. Sandy's company is indeed as good as the others say it is! After she saw my 1 star review, she realized that we had had a miscommunication about the baseboard and she reached out to me directly to try to make amends. She offered to do a deep cleaning of my apartment and she even made an exception to come out to Queens to do it, even though she doesn't usually service Queens. The apartment was in very bad shape and she made it look fantastic. The tub was completely black with mold and it now looks brand new. She is so meticulous and on top of everything! I feel like she and her team really went above and beyond - they cleaned the AC unit, the windows, places where I did not expect her to clean, and she organized all of our clutter (but not in a bad way - I can still find everything!) And she's super communicative. For several days prior to the cleaning, she kept in touch with me to make sure that everything was ready for the cleaning (e.g., cleaning supplies and clearing clogged drains). During the cleaning itself she made sure to text me with any questions she had. She even put up with a little snafu we had when she arrived and the doorman had apparently lost the key to the apartment. She was very patient and understanding and she was so communicative the whole time! I'm really impressed with Sandy and her team. I am now so sorry that I wrote a poor review because clearly it was a miscommunication the first time around! read more

Had a great experience with Yes! Sandy was very responsive and booked my cleaning for exactly when needed with very competitive pricing. Susie came to do my move out cleaning and was thorough, efficient, and friendly. Would recommend! read more

Sandy is great to communicate with and Susie is SO DETAIL ORIENTED and thorough. I have had two excellent bookings with them and look forward to more! Thank you. read more

Susie was awesome! And fast! I am very happy with our service today and can't wait to have her back. Sandy, the owner of the business, took the time to go over everything with me on the phone in advance of our appointment. She was so responsive and lovely. Speaking of lovely, Susie was absolutely wonderful. The first thing she did was come in and do a walk-through with me. She made me feel comfortable and didn't mind that I was working from home. She's also funny and personable. And bottom line, my apartment is very clean! I am very happy with Susie, Sandy and Yes! Cleaning Service. read more

Do not ever use Yes! Cleaning Service. I repeat: do not EVER use Yes! Cleaning Service. I just had my second cleaning from them. First cleaning was great (except for them throwing out part of my sink). Second cleaning was disastrous. They rearranged all my furniture. All of it. Nothing... I mean NOTHING, is in the right place. Even my personal organizer in my closet is now organized in a completely different way. I have all my bank statements and shit on my windowsill! Why is that shit on the windowsill? I mean, even very big things in my apartment have been moved. It was just Ming! How did he move all this shit single-handedly??? What, does Ming think he knows better than I where to put my furniture? Did my apartment have bad Feng Shui or something? What am I going to do now, other than write a Yelp review? Call the police? Who is going to fucking help me move my dresser and my massive 6 foot tall IKEA mirror back into their original positions? I am not going to rest until my last breath: I am going to curse Yes! Cleaning Service every night for the rest of my life. They will burn in hell for this. read more

Yes! Cleaning was recommended by another startup founder-- and I couldn't be happier with its service. Sandy, in particular, is a rock-star. She's incredibly hard-working, thoughtful, and genuinely wants everything to be as clean and organized as possible. Along with the mini hot chocolate cups at City Bakery, she may be the best kept secret in NYC. Okay, she's probably second to the hot chocolate (they're MINI hot chocolate cups!)-- but hey, it's a very close second. Originally we had her come by the apartment (often with a partner) over the weekend once a month, but we found the service so great we're now working with Yes! Cleaning every two weeks-- not to mention I've hired her to clean my personal apartment as well. Seriously. Sandy cares-- and it shows. She even has taken the time to visit our site-- and complains about any bugs or issues that come up. Maybe we can hire a Yes! Cleaning for our website? Have referred Yes! Cleaning to a bunch of people and will continue to do so until the Yes! Cleaning spawns a Yeah! Cleaning, Yeeeessss! Cleaning, and Awesome! Cleaning. read more

Oddly, cleaning services are hard to come by in New York. Yes Cleaning was responsive to my call (instructed me to email description of place and size to them), gave me quote within 24 hrs, and accommodated my original time slot request even though they were initially booked. Sandy even asked for some photos of the place so they could come prepared and know exactly what was involved. Ming showed up precisely at 10 am on the dot and called my cell phone as soon as he was outside. The space hadn't been cleaned in about four years (just moved in) and Ming estimated five hrs - it took him well over six and a half but the rate didn't change. Nothing shady either - Ming took a check written out to Yes Cleaning. We got the "deep clean" which included fridge/oven/stove and he even moved the oven and cleaned behind it.... So yeah, definitely recommend. read more

I highly recommend Ming, the gentleman who works for this service. They were available with short notice. Ming showed up early, cleaned for four hours, and my place was perfect. I had moved into a disaster and had only been able to bring myself to scrubbing the toilet and shower so I could use them. As I was leaving for work, Ming was moving all of the furniture - even the fridge and stove - to clean behind them. For a deep clean, I can't recommend him enough. The cost was $160 (they charge by the hour, minimum 4 hours) and I tipped him $40 - it was that good. I like cleaning my own house, but this was absolutely grueling. Sandy, who was coordinating, was super responsive via text and email. read more

We called them the night before we needed cleaning ( because we had exterminators that day) and Sandy was so great and helpful, she got us an appointment right away. They were punctual and very meticulous with he cleaning. They really mean it when they say "deep cleaning" ! They were also extremely polite and had a very positive attitude. For 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room deep cleaning they charged 160$ , which is very reasonable. They are great! Don't think twice before calling them and using their service! read more

I completely affirm all of the wonderful reviews on this page. Sandy is very easy to deal with, I feel like I could name any time on any day and she would figure it out. We have had three cleanings and each cleaning was wonderful. They are very considerate and very thorough. You don't feel like they are trying to get to the next place and they do a truly careful job. They hit lots of spots that others don't. Ming is the absolute best. In contrast to the extremely upset review below regarding moving furniture, we loved the re-design we got on his first visit. Beyond simply being funny (seriously, how does he move all the stuff?) he genuinely made our place more livable and seemed to create space in the apartment. read more

Sandy has been cleaning my apartment for almost 2 years now and I couldn't imagine not working with her. Inviting a stranger into your home to handle your prized possessions and intimate spaces, is easily very frightening...but believe me, not with Sandy. She is the most trustworthy, efficient, detail-oriented, communicative and kind person that you could ever want - and more. To be honest, Sandy is like having a second mom...she is joyful, caring and understanding (she's seen things that embarrassed me, but that didn't make her blink). Even the staff that she trains/oversees are focused on the job at hand. You will not regret hiring Sandy/Yes! Cleaning Service. She is not only professional and passionate - but she is also committed to excellence! read more

Highly recommend! Called the day before on a Thursday spoke with Sandy. She called me back 2 hours later to confirm Susie was available. Susie was 5 minutes early, cleaned my apartment, and super sweet. Reasonable pricing I am thinking I will call them every 3 months for a deep clean of my apartment. read more

They are amazing. Seriously. I moved into an old dirty loft that hadn't been cleaned for 15 years (before the previous tenant). I got the deep cleaning service and Ming came and completely changed my life. I have severe allergies to dust and Ming got all 15 years of dust up. He took 7 bags of trash out. They really take pride in their work. I work in the media and fashion industry and have high standards. They meet all of them. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. My place is so clean and pleasant. read more

This service is great! Suzie was here the last time and cleaned my apartment great! I had to get my apartment cleaned because I had guests coming over in a day and they were so accommodating about it. I would definitely recommend them again. read more

Sandy and her team are amazing! If you want an amazing cleaning job of your apartment, Yes Cleaning are the people to see. This was our 3rd time with them and it is always awesome. Ming is so good, friendly and respective of your belongings while getting into EVERY nook and cranny! they will literally get behind the oven and fridge and clean everything inside and out. seriously awesome. We love Yes Cleaning specifically because they bring their own equipment and heavy duty cleaning products which we dont have room to store. Awesome job! read more

I chose Yes! after reading the glowing reviews here. Thanks Yelp. I used to like to clean my apartment myself but I think those days are over after having Yes! (Susie) come here Saturday. I needed someone to clean my Viking Range. This is a large stainless steel range that I allowed to get very dirty inside and out. This is not an easy job. I spoke with Sandy and she sent over Susie who arrived on time and basically kicked me out of the kitchen and told me to go relax. I returned an hour or so later and was stunned at what a fantastic job she did with the stove and even straightened up the entire kitchen and wiped down the cabinets which accumulated a lot of grease. I could see my reflection in the porcelain range top. I could not be more pleased. I am so happy to post this review of a company that happens to be in my neighborhood. I love supporting local businesses. I will definitely call Yes! again and I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors. read more

Have been using Yes Cleaning for the past month and half now on a bi weekly basis and pretty happy with the work. Susie has been on time ( huge thing for me) , trustworthy and done a solid job so far. My place is actually relatively clean but just cluttered since I have a kid. I have CCTV and cams throughout my entire home bc I am psycho and used to have a nanny. Susie has done a solid job and been respectful of my home. Sandy has been a solid coordinator/manager as she sends me reminders about the scheduling and also if any changes needed. read more

Susie was impressive. She is super professional. She wend above and beyond to clean my apartment. She also has a very positive energy. Amazing! read more

Say YES to YES! - these guys are awesome! Jason came over last night with his rolling bag about to burst at the seems with his quiver of magic cleaning supplies and got down to business right away. He seemed like a very honest guy, so I felt OK when about 1hr after he arrived I had to go out. I left Jason the money+tip and hoped he wasn't going to do a half-ass job, or rob me clean. I'm not paranoid, but I do think twice before leaving a stranger in my place with everything I own. When I returned with my gf 3 hours later Jason was still there cleaning away with his nose to the grindstone!! As we snooped around the apt I was sure I could eat the take out Chinese I had just ordered off of any surface in the place. (Shout out to Suzy's) Jason didn't ignore any speck of dust or dirt in the place and left everything sparkling! Overall, I'm really happy I went with YES! Hey, it's not everyday you get the CEO of the company to make a house call. I have a feeling that this entrepreneurial dude is going places! read more

Sandy and Ming are awesome! They cleaned our new office before we moved in and did a fantastic job. There was a lot of construction dust and a layer of dirt on the floors, and they made it sparkle. Very detail-oriented, thorough, and punctual. It seems like they really take pride in their work. read more

This is my first Yelp review, and I have to do it to give high praises to the service from Yes! Cleaning. My daughter (NYU student) picked up the keys for her first apartment in the East Village, and opened the door to a filthy, mess. The previous tenants hadn't cleaned and the place was grimy. We called/emailed several Yelp recommended cleaning services and found them too busy or too expensive. Yes! returned my text within a couple of hours, and set up a time do a move-in clean for a set price on the very next day. Ming was lovely and did a GREAT job! I highly recommend working with them for your cleaning needs! read more

Our really nice cleaning man is just out the door and I feel that I absolutely need to leave a review, this service was truly exceptional. I called on Sunday to book a cleaning for our 2 bedroom, they were very accommodating with time, came today right on the dot (as opposed to other unreliable services where you keep wondering if they were gonna show), and after spending 3 hours here, I have never seen the apartment more clean. Here're the highlights: - An hour alone was spent in the bathroom and that really counts! - For the kitchen, on top of cleaning everything, he even pulled out the refrigerator and cleaned the back of it! And it really needed the cleaning. - He decided that the vacuum wouldn't clean the carpet well enough, so he brushed it. And I've never seen it look more clean. - He arranged everything nicely after the cleaning, and it's nice that he does that so you don't have to rearrange after the cleaning service leaves! It really was exceptional service, and he was so proud of it and wanted to show me everything! We definitely tipped way more than we normally would have, but it was well worth it! Also, there's a discount for 1st time clients! Too bad we won't be able to get that after this time, but we think it's absolutely worth it to have them come once a month! read more

Can't speak highly enough about this service!!! I was going a little insane after my first bug infestation after over a year of living in this apartment. I called Sandy and she was able to send Susie the first thing the next morning. Susie did an incredible and thorough job, leaving my apartment spotless and no stone unturned. My apartment is gleaming, smells amazing, and the customer service was on point. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

I joined Yelp specifically to write a review for these guys. They are fantastic!! Yes! Cleaning service provides you amazing cleaning service at cheap rates. I actually was recommended by a friend of mine and I am certainly not disappointed. Have been using their services for 3 years, and they have yet to do a cleaning that I didn't like. Ming is fantastic, amiable, personable and gets the job done amazingly well!! He makes sure every area is clean even if it takes hours. Their dedication to cleanliness and making you happy is amazing. Sandy is fantastic at making sure everything runs smoothly. I have absolutely LOVED their services, and I am certainly NOT going to look anywhere else. Thank you Yes! Cleaning Service!! You guys have always pulled through!! Hope you guys continue and grow your tremendous service. read more

Recent bad experience. Scheduled a "move-in cleaning / post renovation". I had a painter in the apartment finishing his work so I realize it was not ideal conditions to clean but the areas that could have been cleaned (refrigerator, kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity) were not cleaned well at all. I gave Jason an extra $50.00 due to the condition of my apartment but I am totally disappointed. My wife and I spend hours cleaning the areas that should have been spotless. After voicing my displeasure I was issued a $30.00 refund. Do not make the same mistake I made. read more

They are extremely professional. I called a week in advance in order to schedule a cleaning of my 800 ft apt. We set up an appointment time and price. We confirmed the night before and I was given the name of the service professional who would handle my apt:Susie. Well, Susie arrived promptly. She looked at each room and then told me the order in which each room would be cleaned. How she was able to remove the grease and grime from the stove is beyond me. She cleaned the countertop, stainless steel appliances, window sill and floor. She even cleaned and organized under the counter. It's sparkling new and smells amazing. It smells clean:not overpowering just clean. She scrubbed the tub and shower. The entire bathroom was mopped cleaned. The bedroom mirrors are windexed shined and the tv entertainment stand was dusted. Under the bed was swept and all items organized and tidy. She swept through the entryway and dining area. Susie gets a platinum star. She was quiet and went about her business of making my place look brand new! Yes, YES Cleaning Service is on point. You will not be disappointed. Susie's time management is very accurate. She arrived at 9 and finished at 1pm. My apt is not only clean but organized too. It is squeaky clean. My siblings plan to use this company in the future too. I recommend this company, the operator who schedules the appointments and SUSIE. From start to finish: I give the company 5 stars. read more

I called them up based on the yelp reviews and yes, they were awesome. Sandy was very good arranging my appointment at the last minute. Ming, who was a violinist in China, totally cleaned up and re-arranged my furniture with care. Almost like a feng-sui! I gifted him a brand new Chinese music CD, which he apparently liked a lot. I was going to do just one deep cleaning ($160; but they sent two ppl and worked longer), but I am considering having them come once a month. I was so tired when I came home, but stepping into a beautiful, clean place totally made my night. Ming even changed my sheets and put my dolls on the bed!!! Yes, I recommend this service for both home and office. read more

So I used Yes! again, as I previously indicated, for another pre-move-in apartment scrubbing. Sandy and Suzie came by within a day. They did a phenomenal job cleaning the place. I did my final inspection before they concluded and both ladies followed up on a few extra items that I noticed. Thumbs up for sure! read more

This is my 4th review for Yes Cleaning. They are amazing! Ming is absolutely fantastic! We scheduled a much needed cleaning because we are getting married on Friday (whaaaat) and my boyfriend is taking photos with his groomsmen at our apartment before the ceremony. We needed our apartment to be spotless and not only is it so, so clean - it feels 4x bigger. Even bigger than the last time Ming was here! I don't know how Ming does it, but he is a miracle worker. I love Yes cleaning and will never go anywhere else. Thank you once again! read more

Ming is definitely the only one I would use! Always makes everything super clean!

i stopped using Yes Cleaning 3 years ago as I left NY for grad school, and only recently i had moved back to the city. after i settled into my new apt, i decided to try a few other cleaning companies, thinking that they are probably all the same (...also because i forgot the name of Yes Cleaning). BIG MISTAKE! the ones i tried are either way too sloppy with the cleaning or difficult to work with (no service-oriented attitude, or hard to schedule appointments). thank god i had previously left a review for Yes Cleaning, that i was able to dig into my review history and reconnect with them. this time, i talked to Sandy to book my appointment, and she was so sweet and accommodating! i got an appointment the very next day. they had clearly expanded their team (good for them!), but the service and cleaning quality is still top notch. Christian came to clean my apartment and he did a fantastic job. the price is still very reasonable. i could not be happier and right away, i set up a bi-monthly cleaning schedule to keep my apt sparkly clean. thank you thank you thank you!! read more

After my original MGH cleaners failed to show up I called Yes! at the last minute. They managed to send someone over within 40 mins of my phone call. This review is for Ming - an absolutely hardworking, detail orientated, lovely man. He literally pushed around and reorganized all heavy furniture and didn't even ask for help even when I offered). I'm definitely going to request Ming for my future cleaning sessions. Really happy to come home to a sparkling clean apt! read more

I had a great experience with Yes! Cleaning Service. Sandy put together a team for me to clean my new apartment after a floor refinishing job and before moving in. I am super picky about house cleaning and these ladies did a superb job, on a tight schedule. Sandy shared some of her cleaning tips with me, which were GOLD (I am obsessed with having a clean, neat house and really appreciate a hot tip or good cleaning product suggestion). She spent extra time with me at the end of the cleaning inspecting everything to make sure it was up to par (spoiler: it was, the place was sparkling). I can't recommend them enough; from a clean freak to all the other clean freaks out there reading this, they did great work and I'm happy to write about it. And follow Sandy's instructions on what cleaning products and tools to buy and have, she is an expert in house cleaning, as are her team members. read more

Yes! Cleaning was a YES! experience in working with, from start to finish. Sandy provided continued correspondence with me throughout my many questions, even in off hours of nightly and weekend-inquiries. They were able to accommodate our schedule with ease, making the entire process fairly seamless from start to finish. And Suzy, the cleaner, was not only prompt, but a pleasure to work with and provided more in supplies than we thought was needed to thoroughly deep-clean for our move-in needs. We are pleased with Yes! and confident in recommending them for a thorough deep-clean. We did not have any belongings in our new apt., so it was a blank space, but in much need of thorough-cleaning love, and Yes! exceeded our expectations, making it a beautifully clean and comfortable space up to our standards for us to move into. Many thanks, Sandy and Yes! Cleaning Service. Consider us a new customer! read more

Sandy was super helpful and accommodating in booking a cleaning. A few colleagues and I had a New Year's Eve event and desperately needed next day cleaning. I called Sandy and she was able to book someone (Sussi - who blew our minds) that whipped the event space into better shape than it originally was before the actual event. The job was so well done a few days after, I asked Sandy if Sussi was available to clean my apartment. Once I saw her scraping up several years of grout build-up on my bathroom tiles I was sold again. My apartment was spotless. I highly recommend. read more

I wrote the review giving five stars below, but I am amending my star rating. Yes! does a great job cleaning, but the second time I hired them, our cleaner accidentally turned on the gas when he was cleaning the stove knobs. I had left the apartment while he was there, and when I came back a few hours later, I could smell gas all the way out in the hall. I ran inside and held my breath while I aired out the windows. Luckily, I didn't have any pets, or the situation could have ended extraordinarily poorly. I was very upset about the situation. Jason offered me a percentage off my next purchase, which did not really seem to make up for the negligent behavior of his cleaner. read more

Susie from Yes did a beautiful job cleaning my apartment on move in. It was only superficially clean when I got the place and she made it sparkling clean so I can feel comfortable bringing my stuff in. She went above and beyond to spend extra time making it as clean as possible. Also Sandy was very pleasant on the phone and was able to squeeze me in within 24 h. Thank you! read more

I had Ming come to my apartment was very happy with his work. The apt had not been cleaned in over 6 months so it was safe to say he had his work cut out for him and he delivered. Beyond doing an amazing job cleaning, he was very kind and respectful. Also, Sandy the owner is very prompt about responding to emails and last minute cleaning jobs - very sweet as well. Highly recommend this company for your next cleaning! read more
