I paid $600 for a "professional service" and the cost did not match the service. They did not live up to the proposal and damaged my bedroom floors when moving around the bed. Their quote stated how they bring all their own equipment but they showed up to clean a 1,300 square foot apartment with a little hand vacuum, did not mop any floor, did not clean the toilets or showers, and did not clean inside the refrigerator (which I spent extra for). Pictures attached. They were at my apartment for over five hours and were very unorganized, running out of time. My bedroom floors are now severely scratched and I am the idiot who did not get a COI before allowing them to enter my home. Why they even decided to move the bed around I do not know. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. However, they eventually responded to all my calls and emails and refunded me the $600. Be careful. read more

This is the second time I've used Eco Cleaning for my couch and rug. Always an easy experience from the booking with Stacie and Michael to the actual service by Glenn. I would highly recommend them for any cleaning needs especially since they use organic and nontoxic solutions. Glenn was so kind and efficient! read more

I hired Eco Cleaning for a move-out cleaning from my NYC apartment and had a great experience. They were super helpful and quick to respond from start to finish, and their pricing is very competitive. My landlord messed up the dates for painting, so the painters were there when the cleaner arrived, but she was really nice about it and did everything she could. Management was also awesome and didn't charge me for the full time since minimal work could be done. I really appreciated that. Would hire again! read more

Five stars all around. Their prices are reasonable, their customer service is extremely responsive and quick. They cleaned my apartment building's laundry room, lobby, carpet, windows, and tile floors. They were here for 6 hours- I believe there were 4 of them. They arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, did an excellent job, and were really friendly. The only critique I'd add is that they could pay a little more attention to detail. We'll definitely use them again and I would recommend their services. read more

I'm really happy I came across this Rug & Carpet cleaning business. The company is professional, and give accurate quotes based on the photos you send. I have a large wool Rug cleaned & (2) small rugs and the cleaner came in got to work right away & was meticulously thorough in cleaning my Rugs. After, he said it would take about 8 - 10 hrs to dry. However, it dried in 6 1/2 hrs. I rubbed my feet over the Rug & it felt refreshed & clean. No heavy chemicals used nor any chemical smell. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and hard to please, but I was thoroughly pleased. He actually, finished quicker than I was told. I definitely, recommend this company to clean all your Rugs, Carpets at your residence or business. read more

This was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on cleaning. I asked for a deep clean and in 6 hours all that was done was 2 bathrooms, the kitchen and the windowsills in one bedroom. Additionally, the bathroom and kitchen were not even deep cleaned. There is still dust around the steam pipe in the bathroom and the rolling cart in the kitchen was never moved to mop underneath. The regular cleaning lady I used to have was able to clean my entire apartment in the same time for a third of the price. Very disappointing. read more

Although I specifically requested non-toxic cleaning products (and one reason I chose their company is because on their website they advertise EPA Safer Choice & Green Seal certified cleaning as the cleaning agents they use) the cleaner used Windex all over the apartment - even on wood surfaces and possibly in the refrigerator as well. Additionally, although I was told by the team that the cleaners would speak / understand English well - my cleaner had great difficulty understanding English to the point where I primarily had to rely on Google translate to speak with her. This made it very challenging to give her guidance or answer her questions, which eventually made her visibly frustrated and outright refuse one of my requests. Additionally, she did a thorough job of cleaning the bathroom and kitchen but had to rush cleaning the rest of the apartment, so she didn't have as much time to do a thorough job in other areas and in the process, accidentally broke a small light bulb. I tipped her well for her effort, but the service didn't match the promises of the company. The company eventually reimbursed me for the cost of the cleaning after much pushback explaining myself, but I would not hire them again in the future. read more

The staff of Eco were very helpful on the phone and professional about detailing their services and prices. Alina arrived on time and turned a neglected apartment into a spic and span delight. She is the best cleaning person I have ever hired. Can't say enough good things about the service. read more

Excellent service- highly recommend. Will def use again. They were able to book the same day and the deep cleaning was so worth it!

I had to quickly schedule a cleaning and found Eco on Yelp after my old service could not do it (seems they are out of that business). Eco was quick to get me a quote, work with me on insurance and kept me updated on arrival time. The person (Yana) who showed up did a great job in and we are very happy. read more

This company way quick to respond, but slow to clean. The cleaner (who looked like a girl barely out of high school holding a spray bottle and a swiffer) arrived over 2 hours late with inadequate supplies. After 3 hours, the apartment still had dust and dirt like it hadn't been swept. Sure, the fridge and stove were wiped down, but nothing we couldn't do ourselves in a quarter of the time considering the apartment was completely empty (this was supposedly a move in cleaning) Waste of an entire day. If I had spent that entire day cleaning it myself, at least it would've been clean Update: the company offered a complimentary 2 hr cleaning to help ameliorate the situation, which we accepted. This was a much better experience. The cleaner was punctual and asked what our areas of concern were. She had proper equipment, and I feel like she did a great job. I appreciate the company for addressing my concerns in a respectful and timely manner. Rating updated to 3/5 read more

2 hour empty house deep cleaning. Person did a great job and happy with the result. Would use them again next time.

I just recently moved and was set to buy a new sofa, even though I loved my current one. I had it for years, and it's seen much better days. It was dull and just looked worn down. In an odd turn of events, my new sofa had to be returned because it was too big for my space :-( I decided to get my current sofa cleaned, as a place holder until I could get a new one. I wasn't expecting much. If I wasn't there, watching them clean it with my own eyes, I'd think they swapped it out lol. My old, crusty sofa has the original look that I originally fell in love with, and I'm keeping it as is! I 200% recommend them! read more

In the past I've paid to have my rugs and couches professionally cleaned once per year, but having found these guys, I'm upping it to 2x. It's so quick and easy to schedule appointments, great communication on arrival time, and my technician (Ivan!) was fantastic. He was so thorough in his work and kindly let me know that some of the spot-cleaning methods I'd used didn't work for my couch's fabric (oops!). The dirt you bring home on rugs and couches after all those subway rides....it adds up. If you need proof, just look the bucket of dirty water after these folks steam clean. My living room feels like a breath of fresh air. Thanks, Eco Cleaning, and see you again in October :) read more

One of our cats peed on our futon couch 2x in 3 days, and I could not get the smell out despite using many enzyme cleaners. I contacted Eco Cleaning through their website (chatted with someone) and was able to set up an appt for 2 days later! The price was affordable, and there were no hidden fees, which I appreciated. The gentleman who came to our apt did a great job, and were very polite and accommodating:). Our couch is nice and clean, and urine free. I'm very happy with their service! Thank you! read more

Eco Cleaning - The culprit. - Office Cleaning Near Me - New York, New York

A year later, I still can't say enough good things about Eco Cleaning! I've used them (exclusively) for 3 times now: same carpets, different stains, caused by different culprits. Each time, from the responsiveness of my inquiry to the polite manners of the technicians, every step has been professional and BEYOND. Needless to say unless I get rid of all my carpets and upholstery (which will never happen), they will be my go-to indefinitely! read more

I have been using Eco Cleaning to clean my large area rugs for the past few years and they are consistently great! They always check in with you in advance to confirm appointments, their cleaners are actually knowledgeable in how to care for specific materials and make sure to use the right products (I had Nick come today and he did a fabulous job), and it's thanks to them that my rugs have stayed in such excellent shape. I have used them prior to also clean my sofa which they also left like new. Best part is that pricing is more than justified and they are always sure to let you know about current promos. Would highly recommend over and over again. read more

Water marks on sofa left after cleaning. Crews had to come out 3 separate times to try to fix and still left with water marks across the sofa. Would not use this service if you have a white couch. read more

Prior to the appointment, Eco kept in touch with me and let me know when the technician was going to arrive. Niki the technician was on time, nice thoroughly explained the process, and once I showed him what needed to be cleaned he got right to work. Great service! Igor was great. Thorough, explained the process. Highly recommended. Will use again.

Leo and then Alex came to do the job, ruined my nice sofa and area rug and simply disappeared and ignoring me. They are not returning calls and emails. They came in to clean my white sofa and carpet. The sofa had a small coffee stain and the carpet had some spot stains. Result: Sofa is ruined. Carpet is ruined. Sofa has yellow and brown stains from all the chemicals they used, plus rips because they tried to fix their problem multiple times. Area rug hairs are pulled out and where they used their wet vacuum. Their insurance must be fake because they deny to pay and the owner is completely ignoring me. No answer to calls and emails. See pictures and be careful if you don't want to be charged and then ripped off. These guys don't deserve to be in business and should be shut down. read more

I requested a deep clean of my kitchen and bathroom. Specified that I wanted a deep clean especially the refrigerator and oven. I received a quote and booked them. The cleaner showed up with a small tote bag of products and asked to use my paper towels, my vacuum, and another tool of mine to complete the job. Why would you send a worker to a job without the tools they need to complete it? The cleaner did a poor job, barely surface level clean and definitely not deep clean. I complained and sent photos and was given the run around for days about a partial refund from the company. I wouldn't hire them for a regular cleaning let alone a deep clean because the products they used did not clean well (left grease and dirt still after use) they did not clean to a normal standard (we hired another company to reclean less than a week later. They did an amazing job) and receiving compensation from the company for a poor job took 6 phone calls numerous texts and finally the threat of legal actions before I got a resolution. Would not recommend this company at all. read more

I'm so glad I found Eco Cleaning in my search to find a service to clean my sleeper sofa. Roman did a great job and was warm and friendly and efficient! There were old stains that didn't come out, but the service was focused on cleaning not stain removal, and for that, it was well done. read more

This was my first time using a furniture/ carpet cleaning company but they exceeded my expectations. Management was very quick with responses and quotes. Had the best maid service and she was exceptionally kind, asking to check everything. The rug technician forgot a rug and they sent another one immediately the next day. Great service. For the service and the price it was worth it. The most annoying and frustrating part was dealing with the company who called you constantly throughout the cleaning process. People have jobs and cannot be expected to answer calls for constant updates. Do the job and send the bill, instead of annoying your customers with constant phone calls! read more

We decided to splurge and get all our various rugs and carpet tiles cleaned. We had these rugs and carpets for a really really long time, but we had never cleaned them before and - embarrassing but true. Although we checked out other companies with great reviews, we needed it done in-house/eco-friendly and fast. Eco Cleaner from the initial call to all my texting of questions was AMAZING and their price was GREAT! I was given a 2-4pm arrival time. Victor showed up at 2:20. He was lovely, polite, professional and within 2 hours we were seeing the long-buried actual colors of all our rugs and carpet tiles. The steam-cleaning was so effective and had a lovely scent! The dirty water was soooo dirty. And now I know how to say "embarrassing" in Ukrainian. I am no longer "copomho" about my rugs. Thank you, Victor and thank you, Eco Cleaning. I used Eco Cleaning again today for a home visit to clean four flat weave rugs and a suede chair. Their equipment makes quick work, pulling out years of NYC soot and shoe dirt. As usual, their technician was prompt, skilled, trustworthy and polite. It's easy to arrange an appointment by email to hello@ecocleaning-nyc.com/, where they respond quickly with an estimate based on the details you provide. Eco often offers past customer and volume discounts -- so, the more furniture and carpet items you have them clean, the better their already-reasonable pricing. I recommend this service, and will use them again. read more
