There were a group of about 15-20 of us and the service was great along with the apps and drinks. We came in to Bundox on a Thursday evening with a group of about 10 adults and some young kids. This was a great place for a last minute get together as there was something to do for the whole family. Many bocce courts inside and outside, a game room and lots of space for kids to run around. And on a Thursday night we pretty much had the place to ourselves. There was food and a full bar with a happy hour menu for both. Service was good. It was super helpful that when they set us up with the bocce court someone came over to explain the rules. My only complaint is the food. We're a little light on affordable entertaining experiences outside of food and drink. I didn't really get the appeal of bocce until this December when I had the chance to play it with some seasoned pros. As someone who's athletically challenged, it's a game I can really get down with and something all ages and ability levels can too. It's super simple to learn, very easy to play, and involves just enough strategy to keep it interesting. Best of all, you can play with any sized group and the court rental only costs $20/hour! Add in tasty drinks, solid food offerings (the pizzas looked ridiculous), and friendly service, and this whole experience is a winner. I was too that night, and I honestly can't wait to go back and play again. If you've never played before, go try it out. It's incredibly easy to learn and so much fun! After hitting some happy hours we ended up at Bundox for some Bocce. The people there are so nice they even walk you to your court and carry the bocce balls for you. There is a large bar with just about anything you could want. It is a an artificial surface on the court. The outside ones might be sand but we didn't think to check it out. Stopped in after date night for some very competitive bocce. Once we figured out how to get in the building we were directed to the person you rent the courts from. Easy enough process and you rent the court for an hour at a time. The atmosphere was fun and the bar had a good selection. I've only played out outdoor gravel bocce courts so these were a little tricky to get used to. Everything rolls very fast and it plays a bit different. What a fun place to have in downtown Reno! I've seen this place for a while now and always say we need to come. My husband I got two friends together and finally made it happen! We came on a Sunday night and basically had the place to ourselves, only one couple on another lane. There are 7 indoor courts and 2 outside. The outside setup looks awesome with fire pits and plenty of seating. We played inside because it was cold out, but the indoor lanes are just as fun! It is first come first serve, you are not able to reserve lanes. $30 to play for an hour which is reasonable. They have the rules posted on the wall near the lanes and also bring over smaller handheld versions of the rules for you to read. There is an electronic scoreboard above each lane which is way more fun than tallying it on a piece of paper! They bring over a water pitcher and cups for you while you play which was a nice touch. They do have a full food menu with both appetizers and entrees. Plus they have a massive bar! I think I believe I read somewhere that this is the largest bar in Reno. They do a happy hour M-F but this only applies to food and drinks, not the bocce costs. There are also arcade games here and some ping pong tables. We had a blast here and love having this as an option for an activity to do downtown! It is nice to have something unique that is different from the usual young adult activities that tend to include bar hopping or visiting breweries. My wife and I have implemented a weekly date night schedule. This past week we decided to opt for something indoors since the air quality wasn't great from the fires. Bocce seemed like the perfect sport and since we wanted dinner, Bundox was the perfect spot. When we arrived it was empty. Seems they were having credit card issues so everything was cash only - except the bocce. That was FREE!! What? I know. This was our first visit and we were welcomed with free bocce. I asked how busy it was going to get and they said Wednesdays are slow so not to worry. We found a court and settled in. My wife read over the rules (her first time) and then we started playing. A few minutes later someone came over from the bar to drop off waters and remind us it was cash only. I went to the bar to order food and was reminded again about the cash only. While paying for dinner (in cash of course) I also presented my valet parking ticket and got 3 hours of validated parking. As we continued to play, they checked on us a few times and provided updates regarding the arrival of our food, brought over water for refills and asked if we needed anything. When our food arrived, we stepped over to the table area to eat. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak and the wifey ordered a chicken bowl. The sweet potatoes fries I added had good flavor but they were upgraded to garlic parm fries without my request. I was not a fan of garlic parm sweet potato fries - I'd prefer the classic instead. The cheesesteak was delicious. The wifey enjoyed her chicken bowl also. As soon as we were done eating we went right back to bocce. We played for quite awhile before the victor was crowned. Once I was triumphant we called it a night. We took a few pictures, played a few games of see ball and then headed out. The valet brought our car over and we were off after a nice date night. I chose the Buffalo Chicken Dip, hard to screw up, but definitely not like the kind you make at home but decent for a bar, I'd order it again and it was spicy. I put three stars for the size of the portion. Now most times stuff says spicy it isn't but this rang true. I found out the right drink is an AMF. As in adios MF. Or get a Kirk& Sweeny 18 yr old aged rum for sipping or margaritas. I stuck with my stable Bombay gin and tonic and she hasn't let me down yet. As part of our group entertainment for a birthday celebration, we reserved time to play bocce ball at Bundox Bocce on a Saturday night. This location is part of the Renaissance Marriott hotel in downtown Reno but not affiliated. The space is huge and inviting. Cool place and atmosphere but older middle eastern male bartender is rude to customers and complains when you use a credit card instead of cash and complains when you don't have a tab open but never asked if you want to open a tab just automatically charges and gives your card back. Seems like he doesn't like his job and complaining aloud for customers to hear is unprofessional. read more

The atmosphere is very relaxed and fun! It has never been very crowded, but there are just enough people who are excited about the football game to make it fun. Came in to use a free game play card I had and found out that game play is free for one hour every Sunday! That was an extremely pleasant surprise. We had to wait a bit for a court to be ready for us. But we stopped at the bar and enjoyed one of their refreshing cocktails and perused over their drool worthy food menu. Once our court was ready, we weren't give much instruction on how to play. We looked up a few videos online and tried to take note form the people playing around us. But eventually we just ended up settling on our version of the rules. We had an extremely good time and the hour was plenty of time to get a few good games in. Got to enjoy this space during a work party and had a blast! The bartenders and servers were super friendly and even did a demonstration of how to play bocce for us! Bundox Bocce opened last summer. While this was on my list of places to check out I never got a chance until now. I was invited by a couple of coworkers and their friends. Bundox Bocce is located inside the newly renovated Renaissance Hotel. The hotel itself is fun and inviting. Colorful walls and art pieces like bikes, neon lights, classic cars and spacious seating areas adorn the hotel lobby. You're transported to a whole other world when walking into Bundox Bocce. This place is great for all ages as they have skee-ball machines, corn hole, darts, shuffleboard, photobooth, Jenga,and Bocce Ball. In order to start playing you must check into their front desk where you check out darts, Jenga etc with your ID. If you want to play Bocce ball you have to put your name on a list and they will notify you when your party is next. Bocce ball sessions cost is $20 for 2, $32 for 4 and $40 for 6 or more. Each session is 50 minutes. If bocce ball isn't your thing but you are still feeling competitive try out the skeeball machines Bundox has a full bar including some delicious options for food pizza, wings, chicken tenders, fries and many more. While I like that it is open to all ages and family friendly sometimes I wish that this establishment was strictly open for 21 & over crowd as there are a lot of kids running around and screaming. Further because you are eating finger foods then touching the games everything gets dirty and greasy. All in all great place to gather family, friends, coworkers. We went for a Christmas work party. The coordination staff were great! The bar and food staff....not so great. We had a time limit for our bar and food, which was fine. The food staff came out 15 minutes before our time was up and started to clear the buffet table. We were scrambling to get food on plates so it wouldn't just get thrown away. It would be beneficial to all if they offered to go boxes so it didn't just go to waste.....plus, it was paid for. The bar staff was not friendly for the most part. There was one exception but that exception was not exceptional. Another example of being cut off before our time was up.....10 minutes before one bartender walked up to the other bartenders that were serving our group and told them this was the last order for our group. I feel, if you pay so much money for something you should get the full benefit of it. Do not recommend. Side note, the arcade games cost $1 per game.....wow. read more

It is fun for everyone they have bocce ball(7 indoor and 2 outdoor courts), cornhole, jenga, darts, skeeball and shuffle board. If you want to play bocce check in at the front desk and if you have to wait they will call you on your cell phone when your court is available. It costs $20 for 2, $32 for 4 and $40 for 6 or more. They have a small menu with pizza, salad,sandwiches and appetizers. I had the meatballs, garlic knots and pizza ortolana. Everything was tasty, the meatballs were in marinara sauce covered in mozzarella served with flat bread. Garlic knots were hot and delicious. The pizza ortolana was very good handmade crust with veggies and I added baby tomatoes. I really liked their cocktail white linen, so refreshing! white linen is made of gin, cucumber, lemon and elderflower liquor. Sudwerk was doing a complimentary tasting of 4 of their beers. very cool. I went with a group of 12 people and only 4 of us played bocce everyone else played other games available but we all had a great time! I cant wait to go back! read more

Excellent place to get together with as many friends as you want for drinks and maybe even a bite to eat. The place consists of an enormous bar, huge projector style tv screens, a number of different games like Jenga, Bocce, Darts, Shuffle Board, and more. Normally in the evenings it does tend to get a busy so if you are planning on playing any of these games either expect to wait or come a little early. To my knowledge they are all free, (I have never paid) but some people are mentioning prices so I might be wrong. Overall, the bar prices are decent as well, kinda whats expected at a bar downtown. We have come here a number of times and plan on continuing to come in the future. Environment also continues to remain family friendly throughout the night as most people are there to play and drink not just drink. They also close early so that helps as well. read more

First time playing Bocce Ball. Im not sure who's idea for this, but we had lots of fun and competiveness LOL Place was set up nicely, as lanes were on one side and bar area on opposite end. Great family fun! We went on Sunday which is their family day. One hour of free bocce ball!! Kids (6,14) enjoyed playing so much! It was our first time playing, the staff explained the rules and were close by to answer any questions. The have other games as well, giant jenga, darts, shuffleboard table, table tennis, cornhole, ski ball, small arcade area. Very large with lots of tables and seats. Looking for something different to do on a Sunday Funday Holiday weekend night, my hubby & I ventured up to Reno heading for Bundox Bocce for a game night by starting with Rock, Paper, Scissors naturally. Upon entering the newly renovated space I was turned around trying to get my bearings but quickly found my way around to the beautiful open space that is now Bundox Bocce - WOW!! Family friendly and a great escape from the bar or casino offerings in our fantabulous city this place had a little bit of everything for a FUN evening. From skee-ball, darts, shuffleboard, ping-pong, GIANT Jenga, cornhole and indoor/outdoor Bocce Ball plus full bar & yummy handheld food options - we had already scored BIG for the night! We enjoyed our time at Bundox Bocce realizing quickly that they allow each court to be limited to a 2 hour minimum, so that others are able to play and have FUN too. I like that idea a lot and it was plenty of time for us to play, relax, eat, drink libations and my hubby to win this time (see how I snuck that in =D). Pricing was easy enough to understand: $20 for 1 hour, $30 for 90 minutes and $40 for 2 hours or $20 an hour LOL my hubby said that to the young gal and she didn't quite understand and restated the $20, $30, $40 statement LOL In any case, skee-ball takes dollar bills but it's just for FUN and to be competitive with your hubby, friends, etc. so if your looking for tickets for prizes you'll have to head down the street to that other casino or the pizza place with the furry mouse, sorry folks. Looking forward to going back again in the Spring/Summer months to enjoy outside and now they have FREE family nights on Sunday so pack up the kids and go over to check it out to see what you think. Overall, a couple of hours was enough time for us, the chicken pizza we had was tasty with fresh ingredients, crispy crust plus real chicken off the bone!! Disappointed that their Bocce Punch was only made during Friday & Saturday night or as the bartender said when it's busy - hmmpphh - I would have LOVED to try it! Some additional CONS for me: The bar area for not being busy was riddled with empty glasses at the bar and tables from previous patrons. Most of the menu items you pick up with your hands so having to throw Bocce Balls or participate/play the other games here you are required to play/touch, throw objects after picking up food with your hands - eww, now the food you are eating is all over the dirty balls, darts or ping-pong paddles and then you have to continue eating - again eww! Albeit there are several hand sanitizer stations around, it does keep me from wanting to eat while playing games - sorry Bundox - maybe have food options that are skewered or require utensils would be the better alternative. With that being said, I LOVE Bocce Ball and have my own regulation set at home that we play often in our beautiful backyard (photo proof on my Instagram page with our fur babies and libations - hehe) andddd I will definitely come back to re-challenge my hubby to take back the crown since it's a bit too heavy for him to be the reigning Bundox champ over moi LOL Plus what FUN to have a gaggle of friends come join us for libations, having a Bocce Ball tourney outside this Summer while enjoying the Truckee River andddd maybe I will finally get to try the Bocce Punch - woot woot! read more

Had fun playing bocce here! I came with a group and we were quickly escorted to the outside area, which was pretty cool! The sun was out but there was some wind so it didn't feel too hot.
