What a fun place!! First time here and we look forward to coming back. Not only is it bocce, it's billiards and some arcade games. The kids had a blast and the staff was kind to them which isn't always the case. There is a large beautiful bar. Check out the specials too! Great deals! Fun place to hang out and in a great location!

A great place to hangout and socialize, many activities to keep you entertained. Great happy hour and other all you can eat/drink specials we learned about after we already paid. Although we had a great time, I wish the staff were a little more helpful on guiding us around on our very first visit, with the different specials and game instruction. Otherwise our visit was great and we will definitely be back.

Came here to have a Rotary club meeting, have fun and try out some of the food and drinks. The place is bright and colorful and the bocce courts are in excellent condition. The service from the bar was excellent and their chicken wings were flavorful and moist. The drink service was quick and the prices were fair. Definitely would go back again.

Great place to visit- bocce, pinball, ping pong, air hockey. Fun food with a huge bar and menu. Seating both inside and out. There servers were very nice and food came out very fast.

Cool spot to do something different downtown with the Bocce, I hope they can keep this model going since this location is great and I would like to see it stick around. Fun games and open space to hang out, my last visit was on a cold night and they had the fires going outside which is nice. Nice big bar as well, and convenient seating all around. Lok forward to coming back for another game soon!

Bundox Bocce is a great time everytime. What makes it the best is the staff. The bartender Chris makes the experience so much fun and his bar knowledge shared with us was great. Chris will keep us coming back. Special shout out to Shakira for turning us on to some amazing Tequilas, we enjoyed her tastes in Tequila. Looking forward to our next visit to Vundox Bocce.

What a marvelous venue! You can come as a large or small group or even book a birthday party here! Full bar and menu on premises. Charge by the hour so you can play all day. Lots of things to do, darts, pinball, shuffleboard. First class facility with a very happy energetic staff.

Attended a company holiday party and was pleasantly surprised on so many levels. The employees were at the front door to greet people walking in. This place is huge with bocce, corn hole, arcade, ping pong and so much more. The bar area was very large and the bartenders were very friendly. My only suggestion is to have better staffing at the bar given how large the bar area is. A fun place to hangout with a few friends or renting the entire place for an event.

Always a fun time to get your roll on at Bundox. Spacious, fun atmosphere, full bar with friendly mixologists...great tunz. Perfect anytime with friends, family or a work outing. Plenty of free parking Great entertainment value.

I visited Bundox Bocce on a Sunday afternoon and bocce games happen to be free on Sunday afternoons! We grabbed two beers and enjoyed a few rounds of bocce. Neither of us had played before, but there were instructions on the wall and it was easy to pick up as we went. Considering there is free play every Sunday, you'd expect this place to be really busy and packed with families. While I still admit that it was a beautiful and sunny afternoon in Reno and it also happened to be the same day as the NFL conference championships, I was surprised it wasn't busier. While I had a great time playing bocce and will definitely be back to check out some of the arcade games available, I was a little disappointed by the food and drink options. The food seemed overpriced for what it was and none of the appetizers seemed particularly great to snack on between meals. The cocktail menu was all over the place. They had green tea shots listed as a cocktail? Luckily, there were enough standard beer options on tap for us to each enjoy a beer ($16 for two 16 oz pours) while we played. I would definitely be more excited to return if there was a better food and drink menu.

Tots and smash burgers

Area is great for big events Service is horrible. The food all came out cold and over cooked. Asked tots to be recooked and it was just cooked and same sauce and even harder. The burger was burnt and just horrible way over seasoned with mustard and onions burnt. Worst burger I had in awhile couldn't finish either one. Way over priced. Food came out so late and so cold. Not worth it at all. One bartender did not want to serve us at all sent us to host for food then ran away, and had another coworker take drink order from us. The coworkers drinking at bar and wasted also no manners for others around them. Had their personal dog in the bar area and eating area indoor. Interrupting us when we were asking about games and asking for shots from bar when we were trying to actual get information. They took priority over coworkers over actual customers.

Bocce court
Fran V.

We went on a Saturday around 130pm and had a easy time getting a court. There was 6 of us and you can play up to 3 teams at once so we divided into teams of 2 people. The basic concept is you roll a small silver ball and this is the ball you try to get the rest of the balls closest too. The game itself is self paced and relaxing. You rent the court by the hour and we played for about 2 hours. A host/waiter will help you get set up and takes and brings any drink and or food orders. Our host was really friendly and helped with any questions or issues we had. The space is large with about 7 bocce courts, a large bar, video games, and pool tables. This is a great place for multi-generational families and large groups too. A little fun for everyone.

Ask the Community - Bundox Bocce

At what time does it turn into a bar only? We stopped in for food (10:30pm Fri.) while traveling and sat down with our child and after a minute inquired about ordering and were told at that point the kitchen was closed and it was only bar service.

The kitchen closes at 9 PM. It would be nice if they posted the information somewhere, that you cannot get food after that. But yes, 9 PM.

Are dogs allowed here?

The Marriott hotel allows dogs so I think so....

It was our 1st time eating there however it had been on our list for some time. We started with the PULL-APART GARLIC CHEESE BREAD which is Focaccia, mozzarella, marinara, parmesan, frico crust and also ordered the WOOD FIRED OCTOPUS with crispy gnocchi, tomatoes, red onion, basil, arugula and topped with a Calabrian chili aioli. Both were fantastic, seasoned nicely and cooked to a perfect temperature!! For our entree we hate the BEE STING pizza. Make with a 72 Hour Fermented Organic Dough topped with Salami, red onion, basil, serranos, mozzarella and honey. The crust was delicious, crunchy, thin and when combined with the sauce, seasoning and toppings, an excellent pizza. Additionally we ordered two of the in-house, housemaid pasta. The ARRABBIATA , a roasted red pepper campanelle, with Calabrese sausage, garlic, chilis, broccolini and topped with Parmesan, pecorino. The other pasta we tried was the BLACK SPAGHETTI, mixed with clams, scallops, shrimp, hot chopped peppers, white wine, butter and lemon. It was fantastic!! Cooked al dente and packed with flavor. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. The service was great, food was yummy and we definitely look forward to going back again soon!

The cauliflower was one of my favorites, roasted perfectly with great flavor, Fondue was creamy, hot and delicious, meatballs were super moist and bursting with flavor. The olives were dry and tiny and hard to enjoy due to pit. The backpack was ok but not great. Now, the pizza! It was absolutely perfect. Thin crust, perfect amount of cheese and toppings. I enjoyed the bee sting pizza, hot and sweet, and I love the combination. When I go back it will definitely be pizza, salad and cauliflower. The sever was a sweet young man. He was attentive to our needs and patient with all our questions. The restaurant is a good size, the bar area was busy and filled with conversation and laughter, the booths looked cozy, we chose a table near windows for outside lighting. The outside tables looked great for getting some warmth and fresh air. Many options and different settings. Sorry, I forgot to take pics.

It was such a beautiful day.... where can we eat outside?…read more I found "The Spot", its in the old Smee's location on the river. When we showed up, we asked if we could sit at a table outside, the guy was a little overwhelmed, he said "I can sit you in 10 mins". I said "can we have this table". OK, but....just know I'll be with you as soon as I get caught up, I'm totally fine with that I said. . He bought us a couple menus to look over. Then a table on the railing with shade opened up, I didn't care about the table was dirty with dishes, so we decided to move. I love to look at the river and watch the people go by. The server said, I'll be over soon! He was never so happy when Sierra showed up to help him out. He came over to our table I said "I hope you don't mind, I moved to be in the shade, I know I'm one of those pain in the ass customers". Then he started joking with me and it was the perfect ice breaker. My server and part owner's name is Casey! He is an awesome guy and such a hard worker to ensure his customers are taken care of. I love that. We had a couple beers, he has quite the selection of beers on tap, he supports the community breweries such as Lead Dog and Revisions. My husband had the breakfast burrito $13, it was huge with homemade tortilla chips with salad and guacamole. I had the fish and chips. You get three large pieces of fish, fries and yummy coleslaw. I love how they put the tater sauce and ketchups in personal cups for you that shows class. My fish was absolutely delicious better than the old Smees and especially the new location. You get a nice meal for $20. They have indoor, outdoor, bar seating. They have a little merch area and a gaming bar if you feel lucky. I know the Open Championship Bowlers are in town, if you're looking for nice comfort food "tavern style" location this is the place for you on the Reno Riverwalk 50 N Sierra. It upstairs.

Out food was very good and we loved the French fries. It got chaotic at the end, as a bar crawl of some type showed up and overwhelmed the staff...not their fault. It got very rowdy in there so we left. I will come back during better weather. I only suggest you fix your website to be more current.

The drinks were great and tasty, but the bruschetta honestly fell a little flat - the portion felt tiny with four small raw white bread medallions and just some diced tomatoes tossed on top with a drizzle of balsamic that I overall didn't have much taste and felt lacking as an attempt at bruschetta but it was no big deal and we moved on. We also ordered the filet tips with gnocchi that took a little longer and came out with the main entrees and it was delicious. The filet tips were savory and flavorful, the gnocchi was excellent and the sauce was rich and creamy. My wife ordered the chef's pasta which turned out to be a shrimp pasta that she really enjoyed, and I ordered a spicy sausage rigatoni pasta that looked amazing but unfortunately fell short - it had a little bit of spice and everything was cooked perfectly but the noodles and meat tasted plain and the sauce was quite bland and watery and lacked any sort of seasoning. We asked for some salt which made it a little better and I finished it but would probably not order it again. Lastly, we topped the night off with the banana foster which couldn't miss. It was extremely delicious and was the perfect end to the meal. The service was exceptional and extremely pleasant which honestly boosted the experience. There was a large loud party happening and drinks and food were taking quite a bit to come out, but our server was amazing, charming, and attentive. They apologized and comped our drinks without even having to say anything and made us feel welcome and comfortable. I would come back for the service alone. Overall had a great night with delicious drinks and fantastic service with food that can be a little hit or miss and requires finding your favorites.

This place is so UNDERRATED! Such a peaceful atmosphere, consistent food, and chill staff; I can't…read morebelieve that Washoe Public House isn't getting the hype it deserves! The eating area is very spacious and commodious. Though this place has a casual vibe, the presentation of the food is totally fine-dining material. Each dish, especially the Citrus glazed salmon, is served as a piece of art. I've been here around three times before I installed yelp, and am excited to finally leave a review. The short rib, was absolutely amazing. The short rib was so tender, and each brussels sprout was a literal flavor bomb. The brussels sprouts I've had at other places have flavor only on the exterior, whereas the brussels sprouts here play a different game. The short rib is served in a really big portion. Though it may look dark from the photos, there are actually three big pieces. I loved loved loved the sauce; there's a sweet tangy taste to it, though it reminded me a lot of BBQ sauce. This short rib was a win. Chefs kiss. The truffle lasagna was terrific; so much sauce in between the lasagna layers. I could absolutely make out the truffle flavor in this dish. However, I recommend eating this dish quickly, as the lasagna stiffens really quickly. Thirty minutes after it was served, I went it to take another bite, and it wasn't as good anymore. The ceasar salad +beef is a great choice for a light but filling meal when you're currently on a healthy diet. Each dish here comes in giant portions, but even after you finish this salad, it won't feel too heavy on your body. I think it's because Washoe is really light on the dressing levels; perfecting the amount so it doesn't overtake the fresh flavor of the greens or leave the salad bland and insipid. However, the beef was a bit too well done and on the firmer side. The first time coming here, I was totally shocked to find out that the food they served did not match the relaxed and informal vibe the setting sets up. Not a bad thing at all. Creates a laid-back vibe while still getting high quality food.

Our most recent visit was dinner to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary. It still maintains it's casual atmosphere. The entrance has shifted to the Ridge Street side of the building. A good decision. It always felt a bit cramped to check in in the bar area especially when they are busy. Dining area is now mostly in the back room. While the setting is casual, the food is upscale - including the burgers. They offer game meats, elk, kangaroo, venison, and wild boar, in addition to high end beef and a small selection of seafood. They also have a few vegetarian/vegan options. I had the Citrus Glazed Salmon with root vegetables and squash. It was very good. The salmon was fresh and and flaky and perfectly cooked. My husband had the Rock Candy Short Rib. He deemed it "acceptable" Mine was paired with a light dry Savengon Blanc. Service was good and our satisfaction was checked. I debated between a 4 or 5 star experience - I decided on 5 mostly due to the quality of the meal. Return visit? Yes.

Our bartender, Robert, was friendly, engaging, and delivered great service. The bar itself is longer, allowing for enough seating and not being crammed in. The margarita on their cocktail menu was delicious. The tequila was noted to have a spice to it but the drink wasn't spicy, instead it was refreshing and not sweet (which I dislike in a margarita). We tried 4 different appetizers. My favorite was the shrimp lettuce wraps 5/5. They were messy to eat, but the flavors are really nice. The chicken tacos were also good with the coleslaw crunch. The potstickers themselves were more a 4/5 for me with the sauce being better than a lot of others I've tried. The bruschetta was my least favorite 3/5, bread could have been a little more crisp, and I think with tomatoes not being in season, it wasn't as flavorful.

There were about thirty of us, accommodated by sliding multiple tables together, which was nice. However, as only ONE server was assigned to us, it gave her a busy night; but she (didn't get her name) handled it with good humor, skill and a lot of genuine smiles. I ordered chicken parmesan, which when delivered had been pounded thin, breaded and fried and served with a little spaghetti. Overall, I found the dish to be OK, but IMHO a bit pricey and not something I'd recommend to others. My BIG problem was finding a thin metal "ribbon"-like thing in my entrée. It was about four inches long and one end was coiled as tight as a spring. To me, it looked to be the result of aggressive knife sharpening. Our server wasn't around at the moment, so with the urging of a couple fellow diners, I called a man over who seemed to be assisting her. When I showed him the object, he said he thought it came out of their dishwashers (?) and he was sorry it got into my meal. He took the "ribbon" and left, looking for a manager, I thought. When our server began handing out our individual bills, the man hadn't returned, so I spoke with her instead. When I described what I had found, she looked genuinely shocked, so obviously the other guy hadn't shared the information with her. I told her that I was grateful I hadn't swallowed the spring, but I still felt a discount on my meal would be appropriate. When I was given my bill, a 25% discount had been applied to my entrée, or about $6.75. I didn't feel satisfied, but we had now been sitting for well over an hour and I needed to get up and walk off the stiffness in my leg muscles. Speaking ONLY for myself and not the group, I won't be returning.
