Had such a great time at Bumbleberry Flats during our family trip to Laughlin! I had to come out of my way to send some appreciation to the staff It was super busy and some guests weren't exactly the nicest, but Christina was amazing--so friendly and calm. A lot of people would've been overwhelmed, but she made the seating work for everyone and kept a great attitude the whole time. I work in hospitality and that's very hard to do quickly and efficiently. Joe made my food just how I wanted even though I didn't really know how to explain the eggs I wanted, he was super friendly and nailed it! Everything came out hot and delicious. And Don, our server, was awesome. He kept us smiling, checked in often, and made sure we were happy even with the crowd. You could really tell this team cares and works hard. I completely understand that they don't have enough staff on this MLK day to properly run the restaurant. Stokers probably called off sick. Been there myself in my younger days of being a busboy. However after about 25 minutes of watching the one and only server literally running from station to station, it was clear we weren't gonna get food anytime soon. And, I can live with that. What I did not appreciate was him yelling at me and my wife from across the room that he was the only server working and he will get to us when he gets to us. I wasn't even so much irritated that he yelled but his tone and his follow up comment was very rude and unnecessary. When I said "no problem." He said "whatever" and several people were looking at me like I farted in the room. We had 20 bucks in comps and I didn't appreciate being belittled because his sorry ass was the only one working. If management reviews this, and they probably don't, I want someone to contact me as I'll be glad to start making phone calls and complaints. We walked out of there pretty angry and I still am. I do enjoy this place for breakfast! We've eaten here several times over the past year. Service has always been efficient and pleasant. The food is good, hearty American cafe fare. Big fan of the skillets. The loaded Bloody Mary is fun! Ambiance is casino cafe circa 1990-nothing special--but it's always been clean and comfortable. Prices are a bit on the high side but portions are generous. I wouldn't pay these prices every day, but it's not so bad when you are in Laughlin having fun. The only big negative is the credit card surcharge--I know this is a popular way to squeeze extra money out of customers but it leaves a bad taste. Restaurants should price appropriately for all of their costs including credit cards (since everyone uses cards). Offer a cash discount if you want, but don't make me feel penalized for bringing my business here. Get rid of credit card surcharge and rating is a solid four stars! read more

Hubby and I used to have the $30 & $33 dollar steaks several times a week and lunches sometimes and the food and service was always excellent, 5 but something changed and our regular male server was gone and replaced with rude, slow and eye rolling female servers. We talked the food and service up so much and took our family for a big expensive dinner that absolutely sucked. Took forever for drinks and even longer for refills, sat for over 35 minutes just waiting to place our order. Apparently 50 minutes later our food came out and everything was cold. Soup was slightly warm and hubbys medium "charred" steak was raw and cold. Server got annoyed when asked to cook it some more then 20 minutes later brought back the same steak, looking exactly the same by now hot (microwaved?) she said they didn't own a microwave though. She actually rolled her eyes twice as she walked away during the whole crap show. She just seemed to be annoyed with our table and the table next to ours. They we're being ignored too. Yet other tables with certain groups were treated very differently and she seemed overly friendly to them. But anyhoo we tried the food a couple more times yet nothing changed much. We came 3/22/26 at 3:15. The host was great and eager to seat us. Half of our party of 4 had to retrieve something before we were sat because they had left their IDs in the car and we wanted to have a few drinks. After we were sat we were greeted by a man with black hair who saw our party was split up and asked us nicely if we would like to wait until the rest of our party came back and we said yes. Then after 2 minutes, Pattie came by and asked if we wanted drinks. As a server/bartender I didn't clock it at first and thought she was just being nice and helping out her coworker. Later it became obvious that she had stolen our table away from the man with black hair. So we got our drinks, no problem there, and the rest of our party rejoined us. Then Pattie came back to take our orders, which is when I clocked that she had stolen our table from her coworker. When we ordered our food I had asked for another drink. I wasn't finished with mine yet but based on my pace with how quickly the first drink came out I knew it would come out by the time I finished. And it did! Great! Then after another 20 minutes she came by and asked if we'd like waters or anything else. Again I know my pace and I know my limit. Having two drinks within 40 minutes is no problem for me whatsoever. I was basically just drinking sprite with a hint of tequila anyways, I was fine. So again, based on the pace I was receiving my drinks, I had asked to have another. She then looks at me like I was overly drunk and says "I need to make sure you're not over consuming, I'm gonna be nice and get you another drink". Again, I'm a bartender and server so immediately I was just like "damn I don't think I'm fucked up", just second guessing myself because I'm a people pleaser. As soon as she left my girlfriend, niece, and her boyfriend all looked at me and said "What was that?! You've literally only had two drinks." They're all servers or bartenders so we definitely know the signs. Afterwards, we received our food and drinks. At that point, she was given 2 tables around 3-5 minutes apart and had already greeted and taken drink orders from the first one. As the second table was being sat by the manager, they made a comment stating Pattie was super busy. Other than our table (4), two previous 2-tops, and the new tables (both 2-tops), the restaurant was completely empty. As someone who works in the industry and has experienced the same, it's at most average. It seemed as though she was overwhelmed and rushing. After we finished our meal she brought the check, and I paid for the table, at which point my girlfriend went to use the restroom. I signed and tipped 20% (standard in the industry) despite the quality of service and the stealing of our table. After which, my girlfriend was coming back in and overheard Pattie laughing and making a snarky comment about how she still got a good tip. This signals that she knows she gave bad service, but "got away with it". This review is to show that she didn't, we still clocked the behavior and quality of service. This needs to be addressed, as management was aware of the issue but did nothing to correct the behavior. As we are all industry workers, we understand how to properly address our guests, as well as handle conflict resolution towards customers who have properly over consumed. Staff would not honor my first responder discount (which has been honored previously). This place never fails to amaze me. I love the chicken and waffles for breakfast. The last time I went the chicken was cooked to perfection. Crispy breast, hot and flavorful. The waffle was cooked just right. Chicken - waffle - Buffalo sauce - syrup is a fantastic combination if your mouth can handle it! The restaurant is in the pioneer gambling hall which is set on the banks of the Colorado river. The restaurant has a full clear view of the majestic river. Lots of space With either booths or tables for options. Check out the pastries and goodies at the cash out booth. They look delish and the cashier was exceptionally knowledgeable on the contents of the pastry display. I will go back for sure. I used to love this restaurant but I recently went on 6/24/25 and I was so disappointed . The menu was cut in half , no fried chicken, no BBQ platter, no jambalaya, no meatloaf and no prime rib among others. I settled for a tuna melt at $17 and it was just tuna with mayo and half the end of a tomato, and not fully toasted, cheese wasn't even melted. Still our #1 breakfast place while visiting our snowbird friends across the river. We stay in Laughlin for the gambling night reason but spend our days in Bullhead visiting. Bumbleberry Flats for Easter was without reservation and took only a few minutes to get seated in a mostly empty dining floor. This Easter was only buffet service but we were still able to get our huge everything Bloody Mary as our entree. The other two at our table got a very expansive, diverse and delectably delicious buffet. Awesome stuff once again. Only drawback was the Bloody Mary is no longer served with the 8oz beer. Oh well. We visited on a Saturday morning at 8am when they opened. Buffet style food was cold, all of it. $28.99. Waffles were stale, bacon cold and under cooked, and potatoes would have been good if they were fresh and hot. The buffet eggs are not actual eggs, but when you ask the egg cook to make you fresh eggs, he tells you the buffet eggs are real. They were fluffy, stiff, and cold. Joe, the egg cook was rude and as cold as the food. We couldn't sit at a window table because "they didn't have enough servers." The service was fast. Everything was clean . And my dish was delicious. I never like to get pastas when I go out but I got the penne Cajun shrimp. It was really good with little bits of sausage in it. I will be craving it soon. Appetizers we got pickles spears and popcorn shrimp. The spears were surprisingly crispy and thin. Came here with my mom for their Sunday brunch before we left for home. Let me just say...this place is terrible. The greeting we received when we first got there was from a lady with zero personality and made it seem as if we were burdening her by even showing up. Our server was nice...I wish I remembered his name. We got in line to get our food and were extremely underwhelmed by our options. Not only that, it looked like food was reheated from the day before. Tasted like it too. The guy making the omelette's looked pissed off at the world - idk, maybe he was having a bad day...but the omelette was half cooked. Walking into the Pioneer and then seeing this restaurant one may have some high hopes. I stood at the entrance for what seemed to be forever before 1 of the 2 people seen talking amongst each other finally came to seat us. The restaurant seemed rustic yet modern. The view out the window was the old questionable and falling apart staircase to the hotel next door. The table top had a material on it that made it sticky. That automatically gives you a false impression of something negative about the cleanliness. The food, service and overall final grade was just so-so. The food wasn't anything i would remember past the day of the meal (although the crispy breakfast potatoes were good). it's expensive compared to other places in Laughlin. Would I go back? Let me start off saying we ended up not eating here. This place could use a good cleaning. We stopped in based on Yelp reviews and viewed the menu which looks good. We were starving. Seated and after looking at menu again they only had brunch available or wait the 15-20 minutes. Brunch is buffet style. The table was sticky, menus sticky and we just decided to leave. We researched to find a good breakfast by using Yelp. I found out that the Bumbleberry restaurant was in The Pioneer Casino. I called and actually got a person. The lady was super nice and told me there was a coupon available for buy one get one half off. We went. The breakfast buffet was delicious!! The standard breakfast items plus an omelet bar, carving station, shrimp, salad bar, unlimited mimosas (90 minutes), desserts, bakery items. mexican food, and more. My husband and I went to Bumbleberry flats for the Bloody Mary breakfast..... it's a large vodka or tequila bloody Mary with a fried green tomatoes slider with a nice chunk of bacon on it a waffle (kinda dry with fried chicken, shrimp, a hard, boiled egg, a pickle spear, olives, onions, celery, of course!!!! It was $19.99 but was worth it! Service was good and when you get there a little early, you can get a nice window view of the river! We are looking forward to going back over there before we leave to go back home but I think I'm gonna try the eggs Benedict. It looks pretty darn good!!!! read more
