The first thing that struck us was how wonderfully friendly everyone who worked there was at 9 am on a Sunday. Impressive! We went because we had heard good things about the AYCE buffet but, more importantly, because we had heard such amazing things about the mother-of-all Bloody Mary! We were not disappointed. First off, kudos to our server Victor. Totally excellent on all fronts. Next-- superior coffee! Most coffee in Laughlin is rather gas-stationy. This was good & easily better than the Seattle chain. Now for the buffet. A decent size offering. It's not a Las Vegas event with thousands of world options, but it has dozens of choices and they are all good. I especially enjoyed the prime rib and the lasagne. The desserts were yummy as well. The bottomless mimosas was boring, but that is generally the case with bottomless drinks. Had it been a raspberry or boysenberry mimosa it may have sparked a fire of desire. On to the Main Event: the Bloody Mary. Let me say that my husband would not have started on the buffet had he realized what a meal his Bloody Mary would be. There was fried chicken with a waffle, a sandwich, shrimp, an egg and a great amount of well made drink all combined. Came for weekend buffet brunch, food here is mediocre. The price for the buffet isn't terrible but given that you can get cheaper option else where, it's a bit overpriced if you're not having multiple plates. Though if you're here for the unlimited mimosas, then it's not a bad deal. It may be worth it if you can drink a lot. The breakfast buffet has basics of eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon etc then there was some Mexican dishes like enchiladas, taquitos, rice and beans. There was a salad and fruit bar. So very basic American breakfast items with some Mexican food to it. Eggs are decent, pancakes were over cooked, bacon was crisp but a bit oily. Country fried steak with gravy was standard. Sausage was a bit dry. If you're not a big breakfast person, skip it. If you love breakfast, don't come with high expectations. I will say their service is friendly though. At least our server was. I first went to Bumbleberry Flats two years ago and I can't believe I forgot to review the restaurant then. Before leaving Laughlin to come home, I came here for breakfast. They open at 8 AM. There are some benches outside to wait if you're early like I was. I was seated at a window table with a view of the river. The first time I was here, I tried there crab cake Benedict. Poached eggs on crab cakes instead of muffins. This time, I ordered the Southern omelette which had andouille sausage, bell pepper, onion, garlic, and shredded cheese. It is served with breakfast potatoes and a buttermilk biscuit. Coffee was brought quickly and was refilled while I was there without needing to ask. The omelette had a good amount of andouille and peppers. The breakfast potatoes were good. I'd rather have toast than a biscuit, but when in Rome.... Bumbleberry Flats is a good stop. It's in the Pioneer Hotel and Casino next door to the Golden Nugget. It's a good place to have breakfast. Service was excellent both times!! read more

The wife wanted to try again. Amazingly, there was no wait this time, on a Saturday morning. We were seated immediately. I just got coffee and she got a coke/pepsi for drinks. She didn't mention anything wrong with her drink. She ordered the build your own again. Same as before. Price and all. I ordered an omelet this time, the three meat. It was good. Standard omelet, nothing fancy. High price. When it was delivered to me I commented "oh, are you guys low on potatoes?" because I barely got a spoonful (serving spoon). The waitress commented she noticed that and would get some more. I didn't not get more. I have a photo attached. It was taken after I ate some of the omelet, but not the potatoes. For the prices I mentioned before, I said the portions were ok, but not great. At the same prices, now with a fraction of the portions, it's just not worth it at all. My family and I stopped here based on reviews, never again, the food was greasy the tables were sticky and being cleaned off with a dirty towel. There was no ambiance. The service was sub par at best. Nothing about this experience would make me want to eat there again. Food was awful. Waste of money as far as I was concerned. Not good!! The reviews all seem so good and promising, but do not give them your time! We came for the breakfast buffet (maybe dinner is good?) The best thing was the bottomless mimosas... food was consistently empty. Food was dry and cold most of the time. The options were also SO BAD.. not cooked all the way potatoes, sauce, beans, no tortillas, random fruit that looked old, NO EGGS, and so much more wrong.. no pancakes and no French toast. We even waited 20 mins for some to come out and when it did, everyone FLOCKED to it and we got none. At least make more of what is popular and have some type of system ready so that customers don't sit just waiting. The waitress we had was rude as well. We had the chicken country fried steak (great gravy, freshly made steak) came with two eggs and hash browns. I should've asked for my hash browns extra crispy, so if you are like me: make sure you ask. The southern omelette was also good: big pieces of andouille sausage, with bell peppers, Onions and tons of shredded cheese. Ordered with hash browns and biscuit. Wish the biscuit had been made that day, but the jam and the butter it came with were delicious! Coffee was ok, and we were constantly refilled our waters. My wife and I have enjoyed the Bumbleberry Flats for over a year and always had top notch food and service. We recommended this restaurant to all our friends. We were invited to a VIP dinner on 12/31/2024 at the Pioneer. The food, atmosphere, and staff were great. Unfortunately the Pioneer did not staff enough employees and the poor staff was running raged. People were complaining because 1/2 of the room already finished their meal and the rest of us were still waiting for ours. On 01/01/2025 at 10 A.M. my wife and I went to Bumbleberry to have breakfast. We were told that there was an 1 1/2 hour wait for a table. As we left we looked in the windows of the restaurant and noticed that over 75 percent of the seats in the restaurant were empty. At 8 P.M. we returned for evening dinner. There was approx. 10 tables occupied. It took almost 1 hour to get our steak and shrimp order. The potato was cold and the shrimp was sautéed not Cajun grilled per menu. On 01/02/2025 we came back for breakfast. My wife ordered corned beef hash. She was advised that the corned beef was not prepped the night before and they did not have it. The normal A.M. staff, Burt, Judy, Shiana went out of there way to make sure we had a good breakfast. Food was perfect and came out quickly. We returned that evening at 9 P.M. and we both ordered hamburgers. There was only 4 tables that were occupied. We waited for 1 hour for our hamburgers to be served. When asked, we were told that the bar orders came first. The swing shift manager, (Pregnant), did not help her staff in any way. She was sitting in the corner laughing with another employee for over an hour. When paying my bill the manager asked, "how was everything"' I advised her that it took over a hour to get our food. She laughed and said, "things just happen". And took payment for our food. What the hell has happen to customer service. On 01/03/2025 we informed Judy of our disappointing experience over the past few days. We sat down to have breakfast and was informed that the crispy potato's were not prepped the night before and were not available. After placing our order the Manager of the restaurant introduced herself and we advised her of everything. Then a few moments later the executive chef came out and talked with us also, (awesome gentleman), we told him our concerns. He informed us that good help is hard to find. We advised the chef that his menu is awesome. However, when your kitchen staff doesn't keep the quality of food up that he put in place this makes Pioneer Casino and restaurant look bad. We are hoping that the owner of the Pioneer will host a job fair so the restaurant will not be understaffed again. Good quality workers are hard to find and "PAY INCENTIVES" will keep them there and want to stay. It will be a while before my wife and I will return. Only gripe with the spot was that the red headed girl in front was literally TALKING on her phone when we got our text, and even the guy that was gonna seat us gave a face like, Um hello?! Not professional at all On Yelp it doesn't say so, but they have seated dining and take reservations LESS than 4 people per table. We got a table by the window and were able to view the river. I've been coming here for years, pre-covid, and remember when you could pour beers from a tap right at your table. Everything is usually delicious and made in-house (but the canned corned beef). But come on, you guys need need to do better with your sanitation and cleanliness when it comes to fruit flies. The food was great, albeit the service was a bit slow due to them being slammed. It happens. But what is unacceptable is this: I was sat at a booth with a riverfront river view. Numerous fruit flies were flying, inside, by the window. I looked down on the windowsill and counted no less than 60 dead fruit flies. It waw kind of gross to have to eat next to a fruit fly cemetary, and I constantly checked my water to make sure I didn't have any flies in there. After I left I walked along the other booths and noticed the exact same problem. Come on. Do better with your gross fruit fly problem and at least clean the dead ones up before seating a guest. Decided to pop in since it seemed to be one of the better breakfast places in Laughlin. We came in around 11 am on a Thursday and the wait was about 15 minutes, played some penny slots while waiting, don't see that anymore in Las Vegas. We were sat and were promptly assisted by our wonderful server. To begin, the portion sizes here are gigantic, we didn't even come close to finishing our meal. The chicken and waffles were delicious, fluffy and crispy waffles, tons of butter and syrup and the chicken was moist and flavorful. The scrambled eggs were a little plain but nothing salt, pepper, and hot sauce can fix up plus the sharp cheddar had a good flavor to them. Lastly, we got the banana foster waffles and boy were they delicious. They were covered in a delectable brown sugar sauce, crunchy candied pecans, fresh banana slices, and were not short of whipped cream and powdered sugar. All of this plus drinks for about 40 dollars.
