Today we discovered bees in the wall. I left a message on my technician's, Aaron Davis, cell and he was here in less than 15 minutes on a Friday afternoon. Best of all though is the fact that DAMIAN has multiple certifications which means he can handle pests, weeds, termite booster ect all in one easy appointment time. This is very important or you will need to wait around for multiple technicians so insist your guy is capable of doing all or just make things easy by insisting DAMIAN can add you to one of his routes. Thank you Bulwark & thanks to DAMIAN, I am still a happy customer due to his excellent service otherwise there have been times that I may have gone elsewhere out of frustration mostly with the extra time it takes on the phone getting things scheduled, my account notated. I have had a single pesky roof rat for a few weeks, I felt it was time to call a professional so I jumped on Yelp as I always do. I did my initial research and called three different companies on December 29. I ended up choosing to go with Bulwark because they seemed to be very knowledgable and a bit more professional than the other two. The decision was in spite of the fact that they were the highest priced and could not make it out for another two days! I had really enough enough of this pest but I felt good about the decision. I had an appointment set the following Monday, December 31, from 8-10AM. Time rolled by with a no show; I called them just after 10:30AM. The service rep then proceeded to tell me that the driver had called out and I would have to reschedule for Wednesday, two full days later. After getting past the initial shock of my having to call myself to hear Bulwark was going to no show I explained I needed someone to come today to get this issue solved as they were completely responsible for the mishap. I had scheduled my New Years plans around this event so I was rather upset and asked they not only come today but give me a discount. For this request I was forwarded to a manager. The manager politely told me she could not get someone out that day but would reschedule me and give me $10 off. I stated I would not accept this and asked her to rework her schedule to meet the original agreed upon date of Dec 31. The manager stated she would rework the schedule and call me back afterwards. To my further surprise - she NEVER called back. I would NOT recommend Bulwark, it is apparent that they hold customer service with very low regard; pest control services are a commodity, customer service is of the highest of importance. read more

They guarantee their work, so it's easy to have them come back to your home if you spot critters in between services. Our technician, Ciaran, is friendly, punctual and listens to our concerns. He texts us before is arrival which is very helpful. If I am not home, then I'm able to leave the gate unlocked so he can complete the service as scheduled. Ciaran also provides photos of certain areas that he treats if he finds critters that we haven't noticed (aka fire ants). I have used Bulwark for several years. I initially called them for an ant problem in the house. They did a full treatment in the house, and the outside perimeter and yard. Now I have them on a regular monthly maintenance schedule. They spray the perimeter of the house and yard, and I have not had a reoccurrence of the ant problem since. It is really convenient because I don't have to be home when they visit. But they give advanced notice of my appointment, if I want to schedule it when I am home so I can get treatment indoors. I also noticed some flies a few months ago and my tech was happy to come in and provide extra treatments. My latest tech, Matthew, leaves a note when he visits, so you know they were there. Just an extra reassurance. I definitely recommend them for ongoing pest maintenance or specific problems. read more

When they show up, Bulwark does their job just fine. My challenge is that they rarely show up as scheduled. They have inconsistent scheduling, do not keep their planned appointments and when trying to resolve the missed appointments, they lack the ability to make contact with their technicians (this past time, they couldn't contact Jacob for over 5 hours - yet boast global GPS on all trucks) and can't seem to provide answers. How many times do we have to miss work and not get serviced? I was so hopeful we'd have the same experience as most seem to have with Bulwark but this was definitely NOT my experience. read more

Bulwark Exterminators are always polite. I had Cody for awhile but they moved his territory away from where I live. Today, I had Omar and he was awesome! Very polite and understood my concerns. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 was because the Bulwark office employees always screw up the contact/email/phone call notifications. The office/phone personnel never seem to get the contact information correct. We have told them the correct contact info probably 6-10 times and they still get it wrong!
