Because of how long they have been my pest control provider's I know that this is not a hit or miss with their services - they have proving time and time again that they are consistently good at what they do, and if they need to come back out to treat an area that may be needing more attention, they do it free of charge to you! Bulwark knows how to keep the customer happy and they do it without being the most expensive providers out there - to top it all off if you find one of the techs that knows your house and what "bugs" you, you can request them to be the ones that treat your home. I've been with Bulwark for some time now and never had any issues. Up until about a year ago they have been horrible with the scheduling. I used to have a monthly standing weekend appointment and now I have to call each month to confirm if they are going to come service my house. What? The guy who comes to the house only does the minimum if he thinks you are not home. Not good. Overall it was good while it lasted but now its time to move on. read more

I would like to commend Anthony Duran for the excellent job he did here today. He not only identified the type of roaches we are dealing with, but also alerted us to the fact that our backyard is full of recluse spider webs and spiders. Alright, the good is they came out on less than a 24 hour notice to spray. But they were scheduled to come between 8-10 at 10:30 I called as no one had shown up. I talked to the same scheduler and he said he would get someone over and apologized for the error and gave me 25% off my bill for the mistake. The sprayer, Jimmy, showed up was very cordial and friendly. I thought it was odd they use spray out of a can, but he stated it was because the other stuff sometimes stains. Since this is my first time using them, they get 4 stars until I see whether the treatment works and bugs stay away or not. Though, I like they admitted their mistake, and were willing to rectify it quickly and the tech said that they have free call back between services if any bugs do become an issue. read more

Been a customer for about 5 years and very pleased with this company. They let you know ahead of time when they will be there, very prompt, thorough, pleasant. If they need to return for some reason there is no charge for that. Probably a time limit though I'm not sure what it is. They do inside and outside same time put things back in order when done. One star because they did come out one time that I knew of. I guess they kept coming after that but there was no proof no invoice or anything left behind. They sent me to collections and I paid it off. Then they still showed up after I cancelled their services. I was furious that I was sent to collections and they still showed up it made no sense to me. I couldn't tell you guys if they did a good or not because I never knew they came back... Customer for over 8 years and have watched the prices increase over time. They call multiple times a week to "schedule" the next visit but it borders on harassing with the amount of calls. Almost seems as though over time they've gotten too big for their britches. What once appeared as a family operated company they are now too big and over schedule themselves. Don't stick to times set or don't even show up for the scheduled time! Canceled my service today. The supervisor wasn't friendly , acted annoyed at my cancellation. Competitors quoted at a cheaper seasonal price than what Bulwark offers. read more

After the horrible first impression that the tech left, I received some rather aggressive follow up and for that reason I am changing this review from a 1 star to a 3 star. On 10/10 I spoke with Chuck (manager) who made sure that I did not pay for my first service due to the unacceptable and disappointing customer service experience. Honestly, I felt that was all I was going to hear about the situation. I did not lose any money and I was going to go find another company to do my exterminating in the future. However, yesterday I received a call from Eric, the quality control manager in the corporate office. Eric listen to my concerns and went above and beyond to make the situation better. Because of the follow up, I will be giving Bulwark another opportunity to exterminate my home in December. I believe that all companies have bad people but it doesn't necessarily mean the company is bad. Hopefully in the future, Bulwark can redeem themselves and earn all 5 stars. read more

I used Bulwerk for almost 3 years. I used to be able to count on them to give advance notice and to send the same tech every month. The last year plus, I never get advance notice and it is always a new tech. I do not like having to explain monthly (if I happen to be home) what my needs are. It is VERY frustrating. They promise monthly that 'next' month, they will 1. give me notice and 2. send same tech. We called for a last minute appt on a holiday weekend to treat for ants in the backyard. Customer service was great. We set up an appt for the next day with a 2 hr window. Pest control was fine, but then they began utilizing a "schedule auditor" who would change our appointments via text after we made them so that providers would come when we weren't home. Inside service then would not be done unless I called them back and chanced this happening again. Calls from management could reschedule an apt. but not alter this practice. I'm a busy mom who works full time. I need service when I schedule it. Changing my apts without my consent is not ok. read more

On several occasions they have not shown up for appointments which they confirmed in advance via a text message. I've called and talked to supervisors about this problem and have rescheduled to give them a chance, but the issues keeps repeating. They schedule for the next day and then do not show - nor do they even call to say they can't keep the appointment. We have used their service for 2 years and a different tech shows up almost every time that is not familiar with our property or issues. I'm tired of arranging my schedule and then having to call them to hear more excuses and promises. I would have been a bit more patient if i had even received a courtesy call. Chuck was as professional as they come. He showed up on time, and discussed the different insects he would be targeting (cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, scorpions, spiders, and ants). Very disappointed with the service we have been receiving. We have been with the for over 16 years. When we moved locations they transft us to this one. Too many no shows to count always various excuses. Tired of being lied to just done with them. Don't tell me you stopped by and I wasn't home. After waiting 4 hours for them to show up. Justin P came to our house twice so far and both times he was right on time (they said he would be here between 2-5 and he was there at 2 sharp both times, even a bit earlier once but he did call saying when he will be arriving). After the first service, we stopped seeing crickets or any bugs in and outside the house (except dead ones). A few days before our second service I heard some crickets at night (might have been from outside) but just to be pre-emptive I gave Bulwark a call and they rescheduled that month's service to an earlier date to ensure no crickets would be seen.
