Okay, where do I start? THIS IS THE PLACE YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO IF YOU HAVE A BMW. About two months ago my check engine light came on inside my 06 330 being that this is my first bmw I was worried. About two days prior to taking my car in my engine oil low light came on. I called up the guys at bullet and they got me in the next day. After reviewing my cars vitals it was determined I just needed a little oil and not an oil change as per what my visit was mainly for. So instead of having me get a oil change when it actually wasn't needed for another 8k miles I got my brake fluid changed (which was cheaper and was due). Bottom line these guys actually care to do business honestly and in todays competitive market its like a breath of fresh air in a city filled with smog. I starred to get an error message saying I needed to change the brake pads. The vehicle condition screen showed the brakes were OK. I took the car into a local dealer who said the problem was from rats eating wires. They quoted $560 to fix. I checked Yelp and found Bullet. I got a time to bring the car in and ended up with a repair for a price of $240. The rat damage was in the left front wheel. I was very surprised to hear about this rat issue. My 2014 X1 is kept in a weather sealed garage. I went on line and bought an electronic rodent repeller which I installed in about ten minutes. Hopefully this non-warranty issue won't happen again. I had my 2016 BMW M235i taken here because it kept misfiring even after another shop replaced all coil packs and spark plugs. I wasn't sure what the issue was since my car is tuned and didn't show any codes. Bullet performance took care of it within 2 hours. No appointment I just called and they handled it same day. It really is as good as it gets with this place. Everybody working here has worked with BMW in the past and are very experienced. We had some major issues on our X5 and we were given several options on how to move ahead with these issues. My wife and I was treated very kindly and not spoken down to at all. All very kind and considerate with every move being explained in plain English. The work took a little longer than planned but thankfully we weren't in a rush. Having said that, the work needed on the car genuinely took longer than initially planned. We got our car back all fixed and like new and cleaned up too which was a nice bonus. There are several BMW specialists in this area including BMW themselves but i'll be back here again when, or if we have any new issues. I was referred by a friend. After assessing the problems that I reported they recommended and performed $1,000 of work to replace the valve cover gasket and change the oil on my 06 325i. When I picked up the car they told me that I needed at least another $4,500 of work, including ~$1,000 to replace a sensor under the valve cover that they had just replaced the gasket on. On the way home the car exhibited exactly the same issue (lurching and missing at idle when the car warms up). I called and was told to bring the car back so they could diagnose the problem again. No thanks. One shot and $1,000 should be enough, especially when we had a pretty good idea going in that the cause of the miss was a vacuum leak. I'm sure these guys do good work. I've talked to people who rave about their work, but I won't be going back. read more

PROS: Quick work, professional, nice and responsive via phone CONS: A bit Pricey, did some work before I'd technically authorized it My check engine light was on, Bullet was the first shop that said they could work on my BMW that same day, and Terry kindly invited me to come by for a free estimate. The computer showed I needed an Ignition Coil replaced, and they quoted me $213. Turns out the part is only $64, and other shops would have replaced it for $150 total labor & parts. Also, an oil change (BMW synthetic oil 7 qts) at Bullet was $130. When I took my car in for the estimate, I asked them to call me with the price, and confirm they had time to finish work on my car that day. A mechanic called me 2 hours later and said they could definitely do my repairs before closing, and stated that they'd already gone ahead and fixed a TPM error message involving the wheel well, so I'd have to pay $50 for that labor. I said fine, what's done is done... and authorized him to replace the coil. I told him the prices seemed a little high though, and he agreed to knock $20 off the cost. My car was ready two hours later, and they had given her a nice car wash - so shiny! Overall a good experience, but I'll research prices in advance next time. read more

Fixing cars is not an exact science...and my car has been exhibiting a difficult streak lately but the Bullet team has done everything possible to make my experience as pleasant as possible. In fact, they have worked on my car a number of times for a recurring problem and covered the work under their warranty policy. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Bullet Performance. We were referred here by my husband's cousin and two of my coworkers. Our experience working with them was nothing but pleasant. Great customer service from both Mickey and Terry. Our 528i started to struggle when we would drive it and then a warning light came on "Malfunction in transmission." Bullet Performance was able to fix it for us within a week during the holidays. When we got our car back we noticed that the car started vibrating, it sounded louder than usual so we called Bullet Performance and they told us to bring it back so that they could look at it. They fixed it at no cost and now it's running back to normal. We also got our oil change here for $140. We will never bring our car to the BMW dealer for repairs. These guys are great! Terry and every other person I've had the chance to speak with has been great. They are very customer service oriented and you can tell how much they enjoy the work that they do and are most definitely enthusiasts. I've come here two separate times and both times they've had answers to all of my questions and only sold me what was needed and were very upfront with costs associated and time it would take to perform said services. When I bought my BMW, I prepared myself for the notorious high maintenance costs. I always used to just go to the Long Beach dealership for all repairs and every time i sat in front of the service manager, my heart rate would go faster and i could feel my blood pressure rising. And one day, their estimate for a transmission repair was $5,000. Im pretty sure I almost dropped dead and don't remember much after that but I managed to drive off from that death trap. I recently took my 2009 335i into Bullet Performance to have some work done. I've always worked on my own cars (because I like to save money/dont want to get ripped off and know that the job was done correctly), but the service I came in for would be difficult for me to do from home. I took a chance and decided to take my car to this shop and I don't regret doing so and would recommend this business to anyone who needs work on a BMW. The service advisor, Terry was very helpful and honest. He informed me that they did not get to work on my model of car very often and recommended a different shop if I wanted an expert opinion, but that they could still do the work if I wanted. It was refreshing to see this display of integrity and regard for exceptional customer service, where he valued my peace of mind (since this would be my first time taking my car to get serviced) over profit. Based on that I decided to have the work done there, and he gave me the quote of the cost. While the work was being done, I recieved many phone calls about the progress of the job and any questions they had about the car. It was nice to be involved with the work even though I wasn't personally doing it. After the job was done Terry informed me that the job took longer than expected and there were a few things that made the original quoted price lower than it should of been, but since that's what he quoted me he stuck by that number, this was also very refreshing. Lastly, Aaron, the tech who worked on my car, did an amazing job and was also very helpful when later talking to him about the job. My experience at Bullet Performance was amazing, the people who work here are honest and take pride in their work. I've been using Bullet Performance for over 7 years now. I have a 1995 3-series that has over 150K miles. The guys at Bullet really know their stuff. Many times I just go in for an oil change and of course, there's always things that could use fixing. They know that I'm not looking to dump a lot of money on the car, so they will suggest only the important safety items that need fixing (if necessary). Probably the first time I've taken a BMW to a shop and didn't feel like I got ripped off. I dropped my car off here 8am and came by 6pm to pick it up with NO APPOINTMENT. I did call at 8:01am to see if they could accommodate me. My BMW always has problems ... I generally spend $2500 a year on that car, so when they told me it was $1100 ... I wasn't pissed because that's a little less than I'm use to. A check engine light went on 5 days after I got my car back. I took it in for the day and they ran all these tests on the car to make sure it was ok. That was like 2 months ago and no problems. They didn't charge extra or try to nickel and dime me. These individuals are very knowledgeable, provided me with options of solutions and not just a list of problems as they obviously strive to keep an open line of communication with their clientele while their vehicles are in for repairs and service. They took the time to explain an additional issue but didn't "push" any additional repairs. I don't think no repair is too big or too small for these guys. Not only did they provided convenient, innovative repair and maintenance solutions that allowed me to safely enjoy my vehicle fully and with great peace of mind, but they saved me half the cost had I taken it into the BMW dealership. I haven't really dealt with Bullet Performace;however, I do recall a time when I had replaced my MAF sensors on my 2000 M5 at home and about a few days after the car would just suddenly turn off on me. I called Bullet Performance and explained to them briefly on what the car was doing shortly after MAF sensors were installed. The Rep that answered the phone suggested for me to let the car idle for 30 min without stepping on the gas and that should take care of the problem. The Rep stated that the computer had to get use to the new MAF sensors. Shortly after following the exact directions the Rep told me over the phone the problem was solved. Top notch operation. These guys are friendly and knowledgeable and are not out to rake you over the coals. They are servicing all BMW's, including several race cars. Shop is clean. Waiting room is pimp with good coffee! This is no Jiffy Lube waiting room. Took 135i in for suspension upgrade. Work was done perfectly in 30 hours. Got a courtesy ride home when I dropped off the car. They put on new tires/rims that I brought in for free. Do not go anywhere else. These guys pay attention to detail. The mass amount of five star ratings this BMW service shop has accumulated is well justified; me and my dad have been bring our BMW's here for five years and have always experienced fair and honest dealings with the service advisors and owner. They are friendly sure, but more importantly, they know everything there is to know about BMW's and all the guys own BMW's themselves, and even race them. They have lots of great hookups as well; every referral they've every given me whether it be audio installation, paint touch-ups, or body work - they've all been great! When I had to move to Florida for a couple years for pilot training, I sincerely missed being able to just take my M3 to Bullet. I just took my mom's older 02 5 series there for routine service, and it was refreshing that nothing's changed - better service, better people and better prices all around.
