Overall. pretty impressed with the speed and quality of service. Too many times, it's happened that you get your older vehicle serviced and places KNOW how to service vehicles mechanically, but they aren't the best at knowing how to touch things that are older, nor the common issues and the sixth sense that comes with servicing older vehicles - especially European cars. Shops can fix it, but too many times, every having serviced it at the dealer - I get the feeling that many shops didn't care even after a high repair bill because she's an older car. We took our E38 here, I towed here in around 10 am, and she was ready by the end of the day. They called me very quickly to tell what the problem is and even addressed 2 other issues. They offer a warranty on their service, and they are of course, BMW enthusiasts themselves. We just moved to Orange County, and I feel happy we made the right choice when searching for a BMW shop. Honestly, very good experience. Prices were fair, service was good. I didn't feel they were trying to upsell me on anything. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Charged me $2300 to reconnect a wire and charge me for multiple days of labor and made me order a whole new part for a car that I did not need claiming they've never seen this problem before yet, this is what they do, they are supposed to be car professionals yet seemed so confused about a wire being disconnected and having to charge me thousands of dollars for their lack of knowledge. If I was the owner I would eat the cost instead of passing it to the customer seeing it was their inability to properly diagnose and fix. Now unfortunately I won't be going back here and will be passing along the word of mouth that they would rather get paid than have a satisfied customer that would do repeat business and refer new customers. Avoid this shop at all costs. They damaged several parts on my car unrelated to what was being worked on. I brought my car in for service, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any business, period. * They broke two engine covers during service. * They damaged my clock spring FIVE times -- I had to keep coming back for them to "fix" it, and it was only resolved after I SENT them the right part to fix it. * They left my battery disconnected, which left me stranded when my car died unexpectedly. * When I finally got my car back, it was missing bolts, pins, and clips everywhere -- clear signs of rushed and careless work. * I tried contacting them for three months with no response. When I finally showed up in person to ask for the parts they broke, I was met with verbal abuse and the owner even made disturbing threats of self-harm in front of me. Great place! I can tell these guys love what they do here. Came in for an electrical diagnosis on a 2004 E46 M3 Convertible with SMG transmission. Nate was confident him and his team could figure it out. Nate and his team worked overtime to get the car off the two truck, which was difficult since the transmission was locked in gear. Mickey diagnosed the car very quickly. One blown fuse and $200 later I'm back on the road, where other places close by didn't even want to look at something electrical. I took my E92 to Bullet about a month ago. The car overheated while driving on a Friday afternoon and had my car towed. My mechanic came by to take a look at my car and he said it could of been one two things. A hose that circulates the coolant, which was torn, or the water pump that could of cause the hose to tear in the first place. He recommended Bullet to have them work on my car. I called them on Tuesday morning and I was able to get my car in that same day. They even gave me a ride to my work while they worked on my car. By the time the day was over, they gave me a ring that my car was ready. So far my car has been running like before with no issues. I did not appreciate that when I called and made an appointment for my car to be seen that there was a going to be a fee just for diagnosing my car's problem. I respect that it may be their business process but I should have been told upfront. I paid the $85 and asked if that was something they tell you before and the guy behind the counter said "sorry, I thought someone told you." Not cool. I took my car to 4 other MINI mechanics that week and none of them charged me a fee to look at my car. I asked the two others I took it to after and they both said they'd never charge a diagnosis fee for what I brought it in for. Not taking my car here. I talked to Micky and asked for a quote on walnut blasting...Nothing more. Micky came back a minute later and said $1,700 because they needed to put on a new gasket and Intake manifold. There is nothing wrong with my intake manifold. They just don't want to clean it as it's easier for them to just put a new one in. So what do I think. I think this is a shop where the client really needs to be on their toes. Walnut blasting at other shops in O.C. is approx. $450 to $500. read more

Had an alignment done at another shop the car didn't drive straight after and the shop claimed that was the best they could do. Brought it over to Bullet Performance and they looked at the car and inspected all suspension components. Performed a new alignment and car drives straight and the steering wheel is centered. Very professional team and customer service. Really appreciated that they constantly gave me updates with what they found and how they were going to fix the car. The technician there even came out to ask me how I wanted to align the car and explained what he found and how he fixed the issue I was having with the alignment. He took his time to align the car and make sure everything was perfect. They supercharged my 95 840ci and installed a Dinan rearend/diff for me years ago. Dinan actually recommended them to do the install. They did a great job and very satisfied. I needed to get a series of mods done to my bmw m340i. Bullet Performance had reasonable prices for the work. They were able to install a Dinan exhaust, an aftermarket diffuser along with mirror caps. We did deal with some issues regarding fitment but Adam was amazing and kept great communication. Great service, really knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good prices. Nice waiting area with wifi and desks. Came here for an oil change and some weird exhaust rattle on my 2016 BMW 340. The tech was able to diagnose my rattle problem just by me describing it. In about 1.5 hours I was out the door with everything fixed. I'm working from home so that 1.5 hours flew by as I worked on my laptop from one of their work stations. I would definitely come here again.
