Nate is the man. I drive a F10 M5 and Nate makes me feel very comfortable. I prob bother him too much with emails. He helps with all my M5 services, upgrades, and dumb questions. If you have any questions about anything, give Bullet a call. If you get Nate, you're in great hands for sure. read more

Needed my AC fixed. I didn't feel comfortable going to the dealer as I've had some issues in the past. A couple friends told me about Bullet Performance. Finally made an appointment and went in. They told me they'd call me around 2p to let me know what was happening. Nathan called! They were having some issues and said they were doing a few things to check it out and would try to make it work. An hour later, Nathan called back and said they figured it out and my car was good to go! Appreciate the communication, follow up and your extra efforts to figure it out. I'll be back for all my mechanical needs! Thanks!!! read more

Best BMW repair place in all of OC! Mickey Terry Nate..all trustworthy, professional and knowledgeable people! read more

SCUMBAG ALERT. I cannot believe this place considers itself a BMW specialist. I have never seen incompetence on this level. It's like going to a doctor for a headache and getting a medication for your feet. I took my car to this place and they came back with a huge list of repairs ( which I never needed) I specifically told Mickey that I wanted to prioritize the noise I heard from the engine. Instead he replaced spark plugs and charged me more than bmw dealer. I started my car and heard the same noise. When I confronted him he got defensive and nasty and said that he did make the car run smoother. I drove the car in, it always ran fine. Anyway, not only are they incompetent, Mickey is a scumbag, he knows it too and claims to have done bmws for the "past 35" years. I ended up taking my car to a small mechanic shop in Santa Ana and got it fixed for a fraction of what he quoted me. read more

Bullet Performance is fantastic. They practically saved my 2007 BMW M6. It has had A TON of issues.. The price was more than fair, the guys are responsive, straightforward, and very knowledgeable. They clearly know what they're doing, and I have no doubt In my mind this is one of the best places to bring any BMW for a simple service to the most complex of issues. Looking down at previous comments in reference to this shop, the fact that anyone could say something negative about this place clearly has some personal issues.. Mickey is a solid guy, trustworthy, and honest. Nate, Adam, and all the rest of the crew are extremely helpful. Thank you guys, you really saved me with this car. read more

These guys did an excellent job on my 1982 e28. The suspension was in rough shape when I brought it in and now rides perfectly--responsive and comfortably on the road. I only wish I could have gotten my 535i to these guys before I had to sell it. Highly recommend them if you're looking for an honest shop that does superb work. read more

Nate and Adam were super helpful and friendly! I had taken my car in to servals different places and not anyone had an idea what it was. My dealership BMW recommended this shop to me and I'm so glad i got they're help. Very professional, honest and affordable!!! Thanks guys!!! read more

Bullet Performance was the go to shop for a friend of mine and I can see why. I am so glad to have done my rod bearings for my '11 E92 m3 at this shop! Mickey and his team (especially Adam) went above and beyond on not only my rod bearings but suspension work, spark plugs, thermostat etc. you name it they'll fix it. Not to mention the meticulous work ethic this shop has. I just left the car for a day and a half and it was complete just in time for the weekend. I can tell Adam is a veteran when it comes to engine work. Mickey always kept me up to date on the process with calls and emailing me the parts and labor throughout the process. What started as a rod bearing fix and lowering springs ended up being a nice revamp on the car and man does it drive smooth now with all the new parts installed. Thanks again Bullet Performance!! -HIGHLY recommended for all car Enthusiast read more

These guys are a total class act! Especially Adam (who's a genius) and Mickey. Could not be happier with the service I received there - not only in terms of the work done on my car, but also the customer service as well. They are BMW gurus, and the alignment I got done on my car was worlds better than what the dealership was able to do - there's just no comparison, and my car finally drives as it should. Thanks so much, guys! Will be back for more. :) read more

Great service and price. I highly recommended them for your BMW service/parts. Nate was huge help

Years ago, this was my trusted shop, and I recommended all my friends to service their BMWs there. Now I am back in a BMW, and had the worst experienced an enthusiast can have... I leave my m6 for a brake job and alignment. The price was fair, and Mickey was great as always when I dropped off the car. However, when I picked up the car, I was dismayed to realize that the car had been abused by one of the technicians in my absence. I left the car with 75 mi on the tank, and picked it up with 25 tank miles left. The car had been driven 4 miles in "test driving" so, there is only one way that could happen. EXCESSIVE ACCELERATION SPURTS, AND/OR SUSTAINED HIGH SPEEDS. Moreover, after driving the car for a few days it is apparent that the car had been launched, and abused for Absolutely no reason. Diagnostic verification, and tire wear confirm the car was repeatedly launched without my discretion. I highly recommend against this shop for any M, or performance BMWs. One of the technicians is clearly there to joy ride whenever possible. I will never go back. read more

I love my car! Back in '97, a bright yellow M3 convertible screamed past me. I quietly thought, "One day I'll be doing the screaming!" ~15 years later I'm the proud owner of a 1995 E36 BMW ///M3. It's even in my favorite color blue! The moment I bought it I knew I would be spending a lot of maintenance, but I prepared for that scenario. As long as I could hear that sweet music @ 7000 RPM's, it will be well worth the cost! I scoured the internet to find the perfect place to take my bimmer. I hit up the forums to see where other enthusiasts get their beast maintained. Bullet Performance came highly recommended, so I went to their Yelp page and saw they received high praise from the majority of it's customers. As with all new places, I like to start off small to see how they operate. My first visit I went for an alignment. The inside side walls of my tires were wearing faster than my outside edges. They took a look at it and said my camber is set to -3.5 in the front and -1.5 in the rear. They also said they can't adjust the front b/c it's a set plate. This kind of configuration means A LOT OF FUN on the turns, but I get tires pretty much every ~10,000 miles. I opted to not replace the camber plates and have my FUN! My second visit, I got a lot of recommended service done: -transmission, coolant, and power steering flush -replaced broken exhaust clamps -got new belts So far I've taken my baby 4 times to Bullet. I usually just leave her there and swing by after work. In general, it's best to make an appointment with Bullet to make sure your car gets done that day. The front desk is very kind and the Brett or Mickey walk you through what they recommend for your car. They don't pressure you into any service, which is really comforting. P.S. In the future, I want to make my ///M3 a real beast. Bullet also has the means to make that happen as well! read more

It's like a bmw heaven! Had an absolutely 5 star experience here. The staff are professional and easy to talk to. The owner is the coolest Everyone knows what they are doing there and it showed when they installed my catback so quickly! My car sounds soo goood I can't wait to finish my f32 project here and I highly recommend anyone with a bmw to bring your car here as you will not be disappointed! read more

My break has been squeaking for months. And, I thought there was nothing I can do about until I came here. I felt the guys here were honest and not trying to take your money from you. I got my breaking problem fixed! And, so far, there's no squeaking. I guess that means the problem is fixed? Oh, so what was the problem? Well, my rooter is completely tuned down and Crevier BMW could not tell me that because they don't think squeaking is a problem. read more

I have used Bullet for a number of services on BMWs over the years. Their work is top notch with a great value! I am always happy when a shop tells you honestly what your car needs and then sticks to it! Highly recommended! read more

I've been looking for a place to take my BMW for quite awhile.. after trying a few local auto shops I think I've finally found my X3's new home away from home. ;) From the minute I contacted Bullet they were so helpful and direct. I really appreciated how easy the process was here too. The drop off was easy and they offered local shuttle service - which was really helpful. They explained everything and gave me options (who does that?) when they called to tell me what they found. They delivered the car when they said they would and as promised, plus their prices seemed incredibly reasonable to me -- especially compared to the dealer where I had been taking it prior to this last year. I couldn't be happier w 'em and highly recommend. :) read more

If you own a BMW, these are the guys to see. I had heard about Bullet from various different forums which all raved about their knowledge and service. I didn't put too much stock into it until I gave them a visit the other day. It turns out that their reputation is well deserved. I had recently fiddled around with my steering column to get rid of the dreaded service lights, and wanted to make sure that the issue was actually fixed. The owner, Mickey, took the time to check out my car, take it for a spin, and answer all of my noob questions with a good attitude. It only takes a minute speaking with him to see that he has a wealth of knowledge of BMW's and has probably seen every issue you can possibly have with your car. Best of all, he didn't charge me anything for his time or give me a bunch of "suggested maintenance" items that I didn't need. That's the kind of service that I'm looking for, and the kind that builds relationships. So it's easy to see why these guys are highly regarded in the BMW community. Anyone who owns an older BMW knows the importance of finding an honest and reliable independent mechanic, and I'm glad that I was able to find these guys. The next time my dash lights up like a christmas tree, I'm not even gonna mess around anymore. I'm just gonna bring my car straight to these guys. read more

These guys are awesome, down to earth and very professional. Installed Dinan Exhaust on my M2. They went above and beyond to make the fitment perfect since these tend to hang a tad low they made it to where it doesn't do that. Very friendly, they were just as excited as I was. Thank you guys! I found my new shop for l Update: Terry and crew are the best, took me in again on short notice and fixed my mistake with a spoiler I attempted. They fit me in considering they are busy and got me out in a reasonable time. Every time they continue to impress me with the level of professionalism. I can honestly say they have the best customer service out there. Thanks again guys! read more

I originally reviewed Bullet last year after they did an extensive repair on my 2012 X5 Diesel. The turbos failed catastrophically and Bullet came to the rescue when Crevier failed. Im trying to keep this X5 as long as i can so when i had a laundry list of maintenance items to be addressed i didn't hesitate to call Bullet. The turn around time was quick and d*mn if the car doesn't drive like its brand new!! It has 130k on it but youd never guess driving it now. Nate was so responsive and professional, Adam is an amazing technician and i always have peace of mind knowing hes doing the work. Also big shoutout to to Mickey!! Getting feedback and reassurance from the owner prior to a big ticket job is always appreciated. Thank you Bullet!!! You'll always have my business. read more

I looked around for a few days for a shop to install some coilovers and swaybars. When i found this place i was weary of the good reviews but decided to call anyways. The owner Mickey answered the phone and was really nice and knowledgable. Gave me a good quote over the phone and answered some questions for me. Took my mini to his shop and was greeted by Terry, who was super super nice. I walked him around what I wanted and he took care of everything else. My car drives perfectly straight after the alignment and install. I will be going back for any maintenance i need and would definitely recommend good there. Great pricing and some solid dudes. 10/10 would do it again. read more

I Cannot say enough good things about these guys. They are the best in business. I've personally had the pleasure of dealing with Mickey, Terry and Adam in person. They make you feel right at home and take the time to explain everything to you. I've never felt pressured or upsold. Their work is topnotch and very prompt. Everyone at Bullet performance goes out of their way to ensure you're taken care of. I recommend all my friends to take their BMWs here. One of my friends was quoted over $2300 for suspension work at a BMW dealership, yet Bullet performance determined the cause of vibration to be a tire wall that lost its integrity which saved my friends time and money who in turn is now a customer for life. Referred here by a friend of my brothers. They are very busy so my appt was a few days out. But worth it. Took my car in, left it for a few hours and came back to pick it up. They answered all my questions-made me feel comfortable knowing they know the cars they work on and are educated about BMWs. Will def go there again read more

Just took my M5 to Bullet to see if they could check my engine faults. I knew they were busy and short handed but I'll be darned if Adam and Nate didn't stop what they were doing and they promptly ran out and checked my car and found out what was wrong and then said they'd squeeze me in and fix it while I waited. They fixed it quickly too!! I certainly didn't expect that. One of the cylinders wasn't firing correctly and they put a new coil and plug in and got my beast back on the road again and running great. What a great shop and a great crew. Won't go anywhere else!! read more

I've never been to a mechanic and usually did as much fixes as I could to the extent of my knowledge. However, I recently purchased a BMW and chose Bullet to do some initial post-purchase maintenance. These guys are on top of their jobs. They are efficient, no bull, and treated me exceptionally. Terry and Mickey managed the job/operation and made sure not to half ass anything; had excellent communication and got my car back on the road in no time. I will be visiting them in the future and yes I am a happy customer! read more

Bullet performance shop was one of my favorite autoshop not untill recently. Terry seems such a nice guy but lies happens. After spending almost nearly 2 gran on my bmw 535i with burning oil, coolant leaking, and other stuff problems you guys told me that it should "not happen again at all" after you/technician fixed it but it did happened again but the worst part was when brought it back in you guys told me its a different problem And it will cost me nearly another 1,500 dollars to fix it. What kinda human being are you guys. Ps. I fixed my own hood shocks but in the recommendation it says that i have to replace it. What a shame and ripped off. You shoud not be running this place like you guys know everything but to ripped off some of your customers. Bad experience and not sympathy. They all jist want you money. read more

I was having issues with a rough idle and various other issues about a month ago. After lots of research on my end, for a few months, I figured it was the HPFP on my MINI Countryman ALL4. I went to the dealer and they said it could this or that, they don't know. I knew it wasn't all those things because they were all basically brand new parts that were installed recently. So I paid there diagnosis fee for them to tell me they can't do anything about it -- BMW/MINI released an extended warranty on this part and still, they refused to replace it. They told me to keep coming back until the codes match a specific pattern... there was no way I was going to go back and keep paying a diagnosis fee of $175 every time just so they can keep telling me the same thing and for a part they know is known to prematurely fail on these cars. Anyways, I decided to come to the guys I trust the most, Bullet Performance. They couldn't directly diagnose it either, the codes just weren't adding up, but they had a pretty good feeling it was the HPFP as well. I told them about my story dealing with the dealer so they really made it a mission to make things go as smoothly as possible. When I came back to pick up my car... The car start-ups strong and runs perfectly now. As of today, March 6th, they replaced it about a month ago. All the hesitation and power loss issues are gone. Another big WIN in my book.
