Because of that, I came back for multiple oil changes. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely different. I was charged a high price for what should have been a simple oil change and cabin/air filter replacement, and I ended up waiting about two hours for the work to be completed. After talking it through with someone more familiar with car maintenance, it became clear that I was likely overcharged for a job that should have been quicker and more reasonably priced. What made the experience worse was the interaction before my appointment. When I asked for clarification about being told I may need "air," EU laughed at me for asking. I'm neurodivergent and sometimes take things more literally, so I was just trying to confirm whether I was being charged for something that is often free. Instead of explaining, I felt mocked for asking a simple question. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable or confident returning here. I'm sharing this as a caution for other customers--especially women and neurodivergent people--who may not be as familiar with car maintenance and rely on mechanics to be honest, respectful, and transparent.

When Brent heard the description his first thought was probably a computer problem, not a transmission issue. He was right! He not only diagnosed it correctly, he worked with Toyota to get an OEM computer. Toyota allocates these sparingly (to keep 3rd parties from price-gouging) and he actually had to write them to obtain one. He installed it and did a full transmission service - all at a great price I got the car back and its as good as new! Thanks to Terri for organizing and scheduling everything and Brent for his expert analysis and work.

Ryan is a life saver! I was in a bind and stuck in Costa Mesa near his shop with my Isuzu Rodeo and didn't know what to do. I yelped places near me and found OC German and called crossing my fingers. He was amazing. Super nice, helpful and gave me hope. I ended up bringing my car in, even though he specializes in German cars, and he fixed her right up in a few hours. Had me out the door on my way home to San Diego without a fuss and my Rodeo has never run better. His prices and professionalism were the best I've ever had experience with in the mechanic world, and I've worked in the business for a long time. Thank you so much! He always fixes our car perrrrrfect I Larry Pearl rent cars as a courtesy to Ryan's customers Ryan has nothing to do with us and vice versa Rebuttal to Albert He's a lying criminal who rented a car not having anything to do with Ryan or Oc German He called us Thursday Said the car was running hot so we told him not to drive the car and to communicate with us where he was which he failed to do he continued to drive the car for five days adding water or whatever else to the engine unbeknownst to us and hence ruining the engine and blowing it up so needless to say he lost his deposit but this has nothing to do with the OC German read more

Shortly after, Geoff made multiple attempts to connect with me and even carved time out of his busy schedule to walk through the specifics of the project. He patiently explained every detail and offered thoughtful, professional recommendations on equipment and pricing. It's clear he truly knows Mercedes-Benz inside and out -- his knowledge and passion really show. I brought my car in for a quick inspection, and we reviewed everything in person. We told you we would set a time up for you to look at the car again at our convenience. Well it hasn't been convenient yet. As far as my husband telling you I was happy with the car when you called, (3 days after we brought it in), that is NOT true. He said thus far he was happy with it since it worked on the drive home. I had not driven my car yet so how would he know if I was happy or not?? I don't drive my car that often and the first time that I did is when I brought it back to your shop. You can justify in your mind that raising your voice to me was ok because you were frustrated but that's not OK! Period! I did not feel comfortable with your raised tone of voice or by your behavior, that is why I went inside your shop to ask my friend to come outside with me. Now my MAX button still does NOT work and the air still is NOT blowing as cold or as hard as it should be or used to for that matter, especially since we purchased a new ac compressor from you. The MAX button was never broken before bringing it in to your shop. We brought the car in for you to fix the issue with the ac not blowing cold air and you told us we needed a new compressor. It was our understanding that you knew what you were doing and that the problem would be fixed. The problem was NOT FIXED!! In fact, I was left with a new problem. As far as my car being 19 years old it only has 140k miles on it and has been well kept I can assure you. If you truly wanted to work this out you would have at least waited 24 hours after calling us to return your call. Instead this is how you chose to work things out with us. So unprofessional!!! Update: NO WE WILL NOT BE BACK. WE DO NOT TRUST YOU!!!!
