It's not easy to see with the variation of color and all the swirls but it may affect the countertop in the future. I signed that form stating everything was fine so I will have to live with it. I didn't know I had to ask to have holes drilled to anchor my dishwasher. You would think it was obvious since the screws were sticking out from my new dishwasher waiting to be anchored to my counter when they installed it. Every time I open the door to the dishwasher and pull out a rack the dishwasher tips forward then I have to lift it back in place, very annoying. It just reminds me why I'm not going back there to do my bathroom. I'll have my bathroom guys fix the kitchen issues. Don't forget to ask for your leftover piece of stone. I had about $1000 of granite leftover (3 slabs) They don't automatically give it to you if you don't ask. They sell it at full price. I had enough to make a side table the perfect height for kneading bread and sold the other 2 slabs. I'm glad the kitchen remodel is over. I'm looking forward to working with the staff at Works Granite and Stone. They have 5 stars and ratings say they are thorough and professional, so maybe this time will go more smoothly.

We discussed the cost of the flooring of which I was interested in purchasing, and I told him I might just purchase the flooring and have someone else do the install. I asked him if they would give a discount to the outside installer for the flooring. He said yes if he was eligible. Then later, after thinking about it, I asked if he would give ME the same discount if I had GF to do the install. I was appalled at his response. He had an immediate personality change and raised his voice to me and very rudely said 'NO!', that the company had to pay HIM, they had to keep the lights on, and yadeyadeyada and so on. I felt his behavior was totally inexcusable, and I felt belittled as I sat there speechless. It made no sense to me that they could give the outside installer a discount but not the customer who would have had the company to do the installation. In either event, if it was okay to give the outside installer the discount, but yet not work with me for the same discount and get GF business. He would still need to be paid and they would still need to have the lights on. A few days later, I went back to GF to return a wood sample board. As I walked in, Ed was not present, but GF Rep, JOSH WOOD, was there to kindly and politely help me. A HUGE difference in night and day with salesmanship! I told him I was just returning the sample to ED, and that I had decided to go elsewhere to purchase my flooring. He asked me if there was anything he could do to change my mind. I told him of my personal experience with Ed and that I was not happy. He asked me to sit down and see what he could do to keep my business. JOSH gave me an incredible discount on my purchase because of my bad experience with ED 'to keep my business'. He even took the time with me to discuss the different qualities of flooring of which Ed didn't seem interested in doing without my asking. JOSH offered his personal opinion on flooring selections that would work well with my carpet color. I made my purchase with JOSH and was extremely happy with my dealings with him. I just wish I had read the GF reviews BEFORE my first trip there as at the time, there were all sorts of outstanding reviews about JOSH WOOD! He would have been my pick in the first place. Without Josh earning my business, I would have taken my business elsewhere. And guess what! I am now ready to make another flooring purchase, and it will definitely be with JOSH WOOD just because of his good manners and professional salesmanship. I am very disappointed in the mechanics and customer service. I took my Karcher pressure washer to…read morethem because we were having an issue with the "pressure." I should have been wary initially when they called my husband on 6/19/17 to say they were unable to start it. He showed up, asked to give it a try and after pulling the choke, it started up on the first pull. As a mechanic, how to do forget to pull the choke? Okay, be that as it may, we figured they still knew more than we did on how to fix the pressure issue so left it there to be repaired. We get a call a little while later saying it's fixed, $71.94 later and for 45 minutes of their time, I was told when I picked it up that the fitting was on backwards, but otherwise it was "a good little machine" by the mechanic. We took it home to test it. First pull of the trigger, pressure was fine and it remained fine so long as you didn't take your hand off of the trigger, but if you took your hand off the trigger, no pressure. I was annoyed that I was charged for 45 minutes of time to turn a fitting around that likely took 5 minutes or less and the exact same problem we took it in for remained. I waited a week and a half to decide what I was going to do about it, then called when I took a second look at their invoice which stated "30 DAY WARRANTY PARTS AND LABOR WORK DONE." I assumed that this would be easy, make a call, and they would say, "Bring it back, we'll take a look." But, no... I was told by the mechanic that took my call that it worked fine when they had it. I asked them how they tested it and was told that they they used their own gun and ran it for a couple of minutes without issue. The mechanic then proceeded to tell me it was probably MY gun or MY water pressure because it worked fine for him. I told him, same problem at two different homes with two different water systems. He then proceeded to blame it on my gun. I'm fuming by now, because if you had my pressure washer for less than 10 minutes for a pressure issue, but never tested MY gun and instead used your own AND charged me for 45 minutes, WHY DID YOU NOT TEST MY GUN? The mechanic then advised that 45 minutes was their minimum billing. I wasn't getting anywhere with the mechanic so ended the call and went on my own quest to find the source of my pressure washer pressure problem and found it here: https://youtu.be/WfUcXlBZRxk. My pressure washer is now fixed BY ME and cost me about 10 cents or less in white lithium grease and about 15 minutes of my time, including fully testing it. If I left it up to the mechanic's advice it'd be out another $30 for a new gun. Small Engine Clinic, you need mechanics that know what they're doing and will also take responsibility for failing to properly make the requested repair, which I paid for. Now the real test is what will you do to make this right?
