Super friendly staff! They made our first experience for our daughter a positive and fun time. I can't wait to take her back again.

Good news first: the play equipment is very fun and engaging for all ages (even this "old kid") …read more There are designated areas for 4 and under though beware, this is not enforced. Don't expect the equivalent of a "lifeguard" or other such staff to supervise your child. But if you're even half a parent, you'll be watching your child anyway. The party package pricing is comparable to similar venues such as Flying Squirrel, etc. (which means not cheap - but you'll pay similar anywhere) The reason for only 2 stars is lack of organization and poor communication. When we arrived for my granddaughter's party, were told we had 2 hours (which we knew) but they added, "no worries on time, kids usually are worn out and ready to leave in hour and a half" After that, it was all on us to organize the time (how long to play, how long to eat, how long to play more before cake/gift opening, etc etc) We were halfway through last part (gift opening) when suddenly I was told "you have 5 minutes to get out or you'll charged a late fee" WT actual Hell??? Where was THAT speech as we were checking in? We had to grab and dash and finish the party in the freaking food court! I did Flying Squirrel last year and that place was MUCH more organized. They assign you a concierge who guides you through how long you have for each segment of the party. We play was a fun experience up until that whole bum's rush bit at the end. If they're going to watch the clock on you they should tell you that up front (and give guidance to ensure no one party segment runs too long so upset the ones that follow) I Will not be using them again

Took my 3-year-old here on Friday, and by Sunday, she had a textbook case of nasty, highly contagious bacterial pink eye. When I emailed management, they sent back a massive, defensive PR essay bragging about their website policies and clipboard sign-off sheets. Very comforting! A checklist on a wall doesn't change the fact that this place was a biohazard on Friday. She's never caught an illness like this anywhere else, which tells you everything you need to know about their "deep cleaning." Save your money, save your sanity, and avoid the medical bills. Just go to a free play place where the literal sun can sanitize the germs. We are never coming back. To whoever brought the plague: next time your eyes are glued shut, try checking into an urgent care instead of a children's play place.

There was incomplete construction, wasted space, and the whole venue smelled like a stinky sock for what seemed like a decade. Now there's a new ownership which has really turned the place around. They cleaned, remodeled, painted, added big screen TVs and arcade gizmos, enlarged the rink, and continues to make improvements. There are still a lot of imperfections and I have complaints, but I will come back here again and again because I always have a good time skating with friends. Recently I've been there on adult night, Thursday. Thank goodness for this 18+ day, because I've skated here many times when there are a bunch of careless kids on the rink that appear to me only as hazards that I have to dodge constantly. The 90's nostalgia that Roller Valley had in the 2010's is mostly gone. The place feels newer and the soundtrack is almost always what the younger generation is into. Song requests are accepted and the result is a smorgasbord of music that I can't relate to. I think this is the reason why I see several skaters wearing noise cancelling earbuds, so they can jam to their preferred music while they roll. Staff is a mixed bag but I expect nothing more as the service industry in today's job market is kind of bonkers. Some staff appear longing to be anywhere else as they impatiently operate the credit card machine, while others rolling around on quad skates sport a cheery smile and happily greet patrons. I liked the food I tried. Gone are the sticky licorice ropes available during my childhood, present are some tasty breaded fries which came recommended. Just another sign that Roller Valley is moving forward and exists in the here and now. My biggest complaints with Roller Valley in 2022 are related to cleanliness and restroom privacy. I repeatedly smelled a moldy odor near the rink's entrance. Another frustration is the lack of urinal partitions in the men's restroom, as well as the extremely short toilet partition which I think I could see over if I were brave enough to sit down. TL;DR: Give Roller Valley a chance. The atmosphere here is relaxed and fun. Things are imperfect, just like us. Don't let that stop you from having good times and making memories.

First, the admission price is extremely high, especially considering that many of the fish and animals advertised were not even there. What made the experience even worse was an interaction with an older staff member who was extremely rude to my nephew. He became scared while putting his hand in the fish exhibit where the fish nibble on your hand, and instead of handling the situation kindly, she yelled at him. My nephew was so upset that he started crying, and we ultimately decided to leave. The experience was absolutely not worth the money we spent, and unfortunately, we probably won't be returning.
