Convienent location, well-curated selection and great service…read more The sheer volume of merchandise here isn't gigantic, but what they have represents the best of any given category. What pushes them over the top IMO are the extras like maternity clothes and cloth diapering materials. These items are hard to find second-hand, so having a lower cost alternative can make all the difference. I appreciate the cloth diapers especially; deciding whether or not to go cloth is a tough decision, and the huge upfront costs of buying sets can be a hurdle too high. Having the option to buy used is just another factor that makes this relatively "green" choice a bit more appealing. Prices are about average or perhaps a smidge (5%) higher than the big franchise stores. The trade in credit you'll get for used stuff is also about average. In my experience you can expect to get around a third to half of what the used item will retail for, which is about a third to a half of what it retails for new. For example, a brand new $80 high chair will sell here for $40 or less, and you're liable to see $20 or so in trade credit. Not bad. The key is keeping things in prime condition, which is always a challenge. Location is on Argonne Rd. right off the highway. Just exit south and take a left into "Argonne Plaza" after a block or two.

Again, huge selection and I'm frankly surprised and impressed to see such a good toy store in a mall. Prices are high but about what you'd expect. Basically full retail price on everything. Parking sucks. I was there for less than three hours today and paid damn near $7 to use the ramp! I know they have a validation scheme where if you get three validations you get a watery discount, but it's just too much work. Just gimme the first hour free huh? Full validation for paying customers? Anyway... it's a bitter pill to swallow since coming downtown already comes with its own headaches. But I digress.

They also have a nice selection of panels, though those are a bit difficult to find around the store, since as a previous reviewer noted, you are kind of on your own to find what you want, as staff seemed to only be available at the cut station and register. They have a large selection of machines and long arm machines that you can try onsite. Unfortunately, the FQ selection is kind of slim. They also have many different classes and some hard to find notions like very large wooden buttons and different handles for projects. I tried the Whatnot app sale they recommend at the register. Wasn't super in love, but I have a hard time buying fabric I can't see in person. I was impressed with the variety and number of panels available. Will definitely be back!
