I'm a longtime, but intermittent visitor of Paradise Fibers because I live 5 hours away. I bought…read moremy Lendrum spinning wheel there many years ago and it was in need of service. I drove over Fri, May 22nd expecting to drop off my wheel, and then make the trek again in a week or two to pick it back up (1-2 weeks is a customary, and fair, turnaround rate for a wheel servicing). Jaden had me spin a bit so she could assess the issue. Within 15 minutes she talked to me more...it was an easy fix and when she found out how long my drive was, she said she would turn it around that afternoon! I went and gassed up the car, had lunch, then came back and had a repaired wheel and a stack of fiber I also bought (seriously, just the smell of the yarn and wool is enough to fully intoxicate any knitter or spinner!). I was so excited on my drive back home. Jaden is a Wheel Wizard and the incredible kindness of her and all the staff made my 10 hour drive yesterday such a great way to kick off a long weekend! I wish I lived closer to the physical store location, but I will continue to be a big fan of Paradise Fibers. In this workd of increasing automation and bits, it is just so wonderful to interact with a store full of friendly and engaged enthusiasts who just happen to also be employees.

Spokane is so lucky to have Paradise Fibers. Wonderfully expansive selection, including a huuuge…read moresection of malabrigo. There's a woodshop in the basement where they make their own yarn swifts to sell (I can vouch enthusiastically for their quality) and there's a kitchen upstairs where they occasionally make scones and muffins and things to hand out for free. Just 'cuz they can. I've heard Seattle natives bemoan that they don't have anything half as good as Paradise Fibers. I wouldn't think to go anywhere else in town for anything fiber arts.

Huge selection and items are well-organized. The store is bright, clean and inviting. The items…read moretend to be on the crafty, boutiquey side rather than mass-market guns, swords, axes, barrel bombs etc. which is appreciated. Again, huge selection and I'm frankly surprised and impressed to see such a good toy store in a mall. Prices are high but about what you'd expect. Basically full retail price on everything. Parking sucks. I was there for less than three hours today and paid damn near $7 to use the ramp! I know they have a validation scheme where if you get three validations you get a watery discount, but it's just too much work. Just gimme the first hour free huh? Full validation for paying customers? Anyway... it's a bitter pill to swallow since coming downtown already comes with its own headaches. But I digress.

Fantastic toy store. I like the variety of toys. There are board games, magic tricks, stuffed…read moreanimals, animal flashlights, temporary tattoos, and much much more. This store is also organized but very packed. The staff was very nice and helped me find every item on my list. I could have spent hours looking through everything but I was a time limit. The nice staffer navigated me through the store and find all of my items. I will definitely be back to do more toy shopping.

The only books that can withstand chewing, ripping, throwing, dunking and so on. Great for babies.
