So back again for another birthday party. I was not happy about coming here again knowing the salad bar was nasty and moldy. But it looks like somebody read my review because the salad bar was fresh fully restocked everything was perfect!! We were there for 2 1/2 hours and then kept restocking the salad bar keeping it fresh and fully stocked

A birthday party fit for little kings! (& princesses)

Page was an awesome Host/Waitress. She checked in on our party and made sure everything was taken care of. Page was on top of everything. She saw we were low on plates & had more in seconds. She helped cut the cake & made the whole party of 20 kids & adults worth while! THANK YOU PAGE! You deserve a raise! The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were well kept.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again (and again, and again...) anywhere that the kiddos love, serves beer and wine, and helps makes sure the littles don't leave without me, is high on my list, as a parent of young'ns!! I won't lie, I may have had some young adult bday parties here myself. I like the pizza... is it the absolute best pizza in the world, nah... but that's not the real reason you come. Besides, kids typically aren't that picky about pizza. I WILL say that I love the salad bar here! Fresh, clean, good selection for a kid place (and better than some adult places)... but could we maybe cut the greens in a bit smaller pieces? I'm balancing a beer, four kids, and trying to shove a foot long piece of lettuce in my mouth. Not pretty. Regardless of how I look while eating, this will forever be on my short list. Childhood memories, cool place to stop in on hot summer days, libations and happy children. Stick around CEC, I'm begging you.

Always super hot when we go. They could turn down the heat a bit, plus bacteria breeds in warmth. Also half the machines are always broken.

I didn't get a chance to see the rest of the park due to the fact that I was her Maid of Honor and it was drizzling outside. I loved the fact that the gazebo was so large. The wedding was fantastic and the reception immediately after went off without a hitch. On my next visit I hope to see more of the park!

If you find yourself on campus and looking for a more kid friendly area (aka slides and splash pads) I would recommend a walk on down to the park! It has a large bank of tennis courts (with evening play available due to the lights!). It also has a pool! Many times when I've been here there is some kind of swimming competition occurring in the pool. Last time I stopped by they had some new fitness play equipment for adults. I have an interest in unique playground equipment so I thought this was pretty cool considering the retirement facility located right on the edge of the park. You can grab picnic supplies at the nearby Safeway or takeout from the nearby Thai restaurant and enjoy the beautiful summer weather in Spokane. I frequently see people picnicking here. One really important part of Mission Park that I must mention is the memorial to Otto Zehm. He was a mentally-ill man killed by the Spokane police in 2006. The simple memorial was placed in 2012 as part of a settlement with the city of Spokane. As a community it is important to remember the legacy of Otto Zehm and I think a visit to this memorial is an important visit for any local or tourist.

Fun Experience @ Gamers Arcade Bar in Spokane, WA. !!…read more We caught a comedy show next door at the Spokane Comedy Club this past Saturday and on the confirmation email, they promoted this great nostalgic bar! We're glad they did because it's a great place with classic games, friendly employees, and clean restrooms! We sat at the bar and played NES games: Excite Bike, Punch-out!!, and Super Mario Bros. What fun remembering combinations, and hidden mushrooms, lol. The drinks were good and we felt comfortable hanging out as long as we wanted. We said our goodbyes and made our way out, but before you knew it, the bar keep came out, tracked us down, and gave us what we had forgotten on the bar top! What a great guy, we appreciate you!! Honestly I come here to game. With that said my friends and relations have stated the drinks are fine. They've got a NES and SNES at the bar with pre-loaded, "greatest hits" type games. Only one controller for each at last visit but they may have more behind the bar. These are the mini "plug and play" systems they put out around 2017 or so that were hugely popular around Xmas time and sold out everywhere. They have the boxing game where you smack the punching bag as hard as you can and get a number value assigned to the relative mightiness of your fist. Number display is whack though so it's tough to see what you actually got. Still, at $0.50 a great value to get out some nontoxic playdough masculinity. They've got the Arcade Super Off-road which is a fucking classic and a must play. Also featuring a decent air hockey table and an excellent basketball game. Both affordably priced at $0.50 and the basketball game features a very long play time. Maybe 6 pinball machines I can't recall. Check the pictures. They have a change machine for easy access to actual quarters. No stupid game cards, tokens, or waiting at the bar for change. Service is cordial and no nonsense.
