So many unique structure to play and be in the outdoors. Both my boys said this is their new favorite park. Their favorite features were the basketball hoops and the circular merrigo-round made for one person. There's so much more- a braille reading library. Safety fence with a safety lock to keep kids inside. Huge parking lot. There's also motivational quotes all around with so much color. The buddy beach is bright and there's also a rock sharing area. This park has thought of everything to make everyone have a sense of belonging. The only negative was the picnic tables that are covered are also used for parties. They may come out to ask you to move to accommodate a birthday party. Which was a major pain for us as we had a full on picnic spread out. The staff was very kind and allowed us to stay when they recognized we had a bunch to move.

We went on a Saturday and it was super busy. You have to keep a hawk eye on your babies because they can get lost in the crowd. There is a pavilion with picnic tables. The play area is fenced in and has plenty of parking. In the end, I can't wait to come back on a weekday when it's less busy.

Yelp post on Fun City!…read more Absolute Perfection for a Large Group Celebration! My husband Dave and I highly recommend Fun City Trampoline Park in New Britain! To celebrate the incredible reading and writing progress of our students, the Lauren E. Avezzie Charitable Foundation treated 22 enthusiastic Grade 2-5 superstars from our Room 102B FaceTime Reading Class to a high-energy hour of pure joy right in their hometown. These bright kids did it all! They flew high on the trampolines, tackled the ninja obstacle course, challenged each other on the Slam Ball court, and tested their balance on the beams over the soft foam pits. They also conquered the zip lines, tire swings, ropes course, and climbing rock walls, ending the session with a spin through the arcades and massive slides. ‍ Because "it takes a village," we were absolutely thrilled to see so many Lincoln Elementary School parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles show up to cheer on our readers. Watching the families, our two dedicated teachers, and our wonderful school principal, Gina Cavallo, cheering the kids on from the sidelines and in the party room was truly heartwarming. It beautifully reminded me of this quote: "Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity." -- Eleanor Brown A massive "hats off" to the Fun City manager, Victor, and his phenomenal staff! They truly went the extra mile to ensure that our students were safely enjoying the trampolines and that their pizza party and award ceremony ran seamlessly. Fun City generously provided delicious pepperoni and cheese pizzas, water bottles, ice cream, and a $5 arcade gift card for every single student. Thank you, Fun City, for partnering with us to make learning--and celebrating success--so incredibly meaningful! We will definitely be back.

Being on top of the bowling alley, this give kids and family extra time together (or separate if the kids go play by themselves while the parents bowl, which seems to be the case here). There are a great deal of inflatable bounce houses and one giant obstacle course, a ropes tower with a slide, rock wall, some arcade games, and a few birthday party rooms. For two kids to play for 1 1/2 hours was $24 total. Seemed like a pretty good deal considering there's no other place quite like this and it keeps the kids active and happy. It is dingy and there are quite a few broken arcade games that they just decide that they're never going to fix (I've been here a few times). You pay 25-50 cents per game or a dollar to play air hockey, basketball, or a motorcycle game. There are no tickets so you're really only playing to have fun, not win prizes. There is a coin machine (it's slow) to give you quarters for the games. During my most recent visit, the basketball machine broke on us so that was interesting. Other than the rinky dink "arcade" (which is kind of just scattered around the bounce houses), this is a fun place with plenty of room for the kids to run around.

The staff had set up my son's soon with a fun construction theme including table clothes, plates, napkins, signs on the wall and had juice and water ready to go. They checked in throughout, reminded us about pizza and cake at the right time and didn't rush anyone. Last year my son had his birthday at Tumble Jungle in Norwalk and it felt more rushed and like they wanted us out on the minute but Playhouse Fairfield gave us a great experience. If you're looking for an easy time for your kids, someone to truly pull it all together for you I'd definitely recommend them in the future!

My two-year-old son and I have visited this location dozens of times over the past year without a single issue. On this visit, we also happened to be the only Black family present. What happened afterward was shocking, unprofessional, and felt unmistakably discriminatory. Later that day, I received a call from someone identifying herself as the owner/manager. She claimed that it had been "reported" that my recently turned two-year-old son had: * "Shaken" a one-year-old girl * Then supposedly been "violent" toward multiple children * And later--somehow--"choked" the same child These accusations all came in a single phone call and kept changing as she spoke. Not one version was consistent with the last, and none of them matched anything that occurred during our visit. When I calmly asked her to check security footage, she said she would but immediately followed it with, "The video may not have caught anything," despite openly admitting she hadn't reviewed it. To this day, I have received zero follow-up or confirmation that any video was checked at all. I later spoke with the front-desk employee who was there during our visit. He confirmed that: * No parent voiced any complaint about my son * He personally witnessed nothing concerning * The owner/manager was not even present at the time This brings up extremely concerning questions: * How did the owner know to single out my child when no complaint was made? * Why was I immediately presumed guilty with no evidence? * Why did the supposed reporting parents never speak to me directly, which is standard in children's play spaces? * Why did the claims escalate from shaking, to multiple children, to choking--a sequence that simply does not align with a newly two-year-old's behavior or my son's history? My son has never harmed another child, and our long history at this business reflects that.

My only issue was with the female staff member and her tone and delivery when speaking to a child in my party. She followed said child around and aggressively yelled STRIKE 1.....STRIKE 2.... we did not get 3 because at that point the child felt bullied and took the vest off and did not finish the game. Her Tone and delivery from the start was very aggressive and rude. The rules are posted on the wall and prior to the game you are told to read them. May I suggest the staff read the rules prior to the start of every game. My issue is not that a rule was broken, I think the child crawled on the floor. I agree with the the rules. Especially in a place like this, you have to be safe. My issue was with her tone and her delivery. I also felt like the child was targeted by how she only followed him around. Again I no issue with the rules!!!! My issue was with her tone.

Whether you're into Star Wars, Harry Potter, architecture, or classic sets, there's something for every kind of builder. One of my favorite parts was the Pick-a-Brick wall, yes, a wall full of individual LEGO pieces in every color and shape you can imagine. It's like a candy store, but for builders. I also loved checking out the display sets, they're seriously impressive and gave me a ton of inspiration (and a longer wishlist). The staff were super friendly and clearly just as enthusiastic about LEGO as the customers. They helped me find a retired set I didn't even think would still be available! I walked out with a new set under my arm, a huge smile on my face, and the excitement of knowing I'd be spending the evening building. The LEGO Store is the perfect stop for fans of all ages and let's be honest, building bricks never goes out of style. Can't wait to go back!
