If you decide to open an account with them (ten dollar deposit, and they take a list of series you follow and put new release issues aside for you, with a minimum one pickup per month) you get great perks like 10 percent off all new comics. And I believe trade paperbacks too. My favorite thing about this store is they put together packets of consecutive issues for both new and old series. Really helpful if you want to dive into a series that started awhile ago and you don't have to hunt down single issues. Recently grabbed the first 8 issues of East of West because it was all there ready to go. But they put together old and new stuff. AvX, Brightest Day, Generation X, X-Statix, Civil War, tons of complete miniseries 80s-current. And their Christmas-New Years sale is out of this world.

Inside the bag were some Simpson's memorabilia I was looking to sell, namely (don't laugh) 50 Simpsons pogs and two empty boxes of Simpsons cereal. For the curious, they would be Bart Simpson Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch and Homer's Cinnamon Donut. I met with Carl (one of the two Two Guys), and found him to be a very nice down to earth young man. He looked at what I brought in, and did some pricing research while I looked around. Two Guys is quite the destination for pop culture nerds who can't get enough of comics, DVDs for a buck, collectible figurines (Star Wars and Marvel are popular), graphic novels, games and a treasure chest of cool stuff. One cool thing I learned was that the Two Guys are hosting a Community Day tomorrow to come in and schmooze, with free comics to kids under ten. I had done some research on what my stuff had recently sold for on-line, and then cut that number in half to approximate what I was looking for.  I was thrilled when Carl came back with the exact same number! So my first visit and transaction with Two Guys was 100% pleasurable and satisfactory. As we continue to thin out our 35+ years of accumulated stuff, I suspect I'll be returning to see those Two Guys again.

A few other reviewers seem to have the same thoughts about that. When someone walks in the door it's a toss up if you'll get Harvey or Two-Face. Most of the time it's the latter. Or should we discuss how you put RFK Jr. campaign flyers in your customers' bags and then badger them about his policies? Or how a simple question about moving turns into a political debate with you? How about how you allow a gaggle of idiots to stand around your store cursing while children are present as you laugh along? I can tell you that this store is huge, neatly set up, and boasts an ungodly amount of comics, collectibles, figurines, toys, games, cards, books, posters (check out the very foxy Supergirl) across the pop culture spectrum of movies, television, comic books, super heroes & villains. They even have a small sports card section, so every branch of the Nerd Tree is represented here! I then bought another 18 comic book full set for $15 and with 2 missing books (that was clearly marked as missing) and I found the other 2 online, so now I have the full set, and it only cost me $24 in all - you can't beat these prices. I'm not looking for comic books that are in perfect condition, although, most that I have received are in great condition and inside protective sleeves. I'm 54 years young and enjoying being able to buy full sets of of the classics. Great store, and I can't wait to buy my next full series.

I ended up getting a Smurfette figurine while my husband chatted with the owner, I think. He graciously was giving my husband price estimates and guidelines even though my husband was thinking about selling his comics on Ebay. This guy really knew his stuff and had such a depth of comic history and information about various characters. He had also worked at the theater for 20 years, and my husband and him compared memories of the theater and we got to hear about secret, historical things in the theater as well. Really a great guy and making the store a wonderfully, helpful resource. It is guys like him that make small towns a special place to visit and the world a smaller, more friendly, warmer, better place.
