If you want to air out grievances here on this public forum, I can gladly do so. Why don't you talk about how miserable you are and how it reflects in your customer service? A few other reviewers seem to have the same thoughts about that. When someone walks in the door it's a toss up if you'll get Harvey or Two-Face. Most of the time it's the latter. Or should we discuss how you put RFK Jr. campaign flyers in your customers' bags and then badger them about his policies? Or how a simple question about moving turns into a political debate with you? How about how you allow a gaggle of idiots to stand around your store cursing while children are present as you laugh along? And the only reason you stopped was because your wife said something to you? Would you like me to continue?

I've pretty much depleted my decades long accumulation of baseball cards so now I'm into selling off my football cards. I walked into DJ's Comics and Cards to sell six vintage New York Giants cards from the late 1950's and early 1960's. I had done my pricing research, and after correcting for condition and selling to a retailer, I had an idea what to ask for. He offered me $5 less than my assesment, so I countered with his cash offer plus $5 in store credit and that clinched the deal. I ended up using the store credit toward buying a Tom Brady and a Kobe Bryant card for my grandson. DJ's made me a very fair offer and we were both satisfied with the outcome. The store has quite a bit more comics than cards, but I sure enjoyed looking at the shopwcases and rummaging through the commons boxes.

I have to say that Andrew went above and beyond to make it a positive experience for us stopping in and instead of just telling us he couldn't play/ wasn't able based off his level and skill, Andrew turned it into a learning opportunity to have my son understand the tournament game rules, watch matches and providing my son and friends a space to play/practice with the game . My son struggles with social settings and social/emotional norms often and tends to self isolate, You have no clue how much that kindness was so very appreciated . I can tell you that this store is huge, neatly set up, and boasts an ungodly amount of comics, collectibles, figurines, toys, games, cards, books, posters (check out the very foxy Supergirl) across the pop culture spectrum of movies, television, comic books, super heroes & villains. They even have a small sports card section, so every branch of the Nerd Tree is represented here! I then bought another 18 comic book full set for $15 and with 2 missing books (that was clearly marked as missing) and I found the other 2 online, so now I have the full set, and it only cost me $24 in all - you can't beat these prices. I'm not looking for comic books that are in perfect condition, although, most that I have received are in great condition and inside protective sleeves. I'm 54 years young and enjoying being able to buy full sets of of the classics. Great store, and I can't wait to buy my next full series.

If you decide to open an account with them (ten dollar deposit, and they take a list of series you follow and put new release issues aside for you, with a minimum one pickup per month) you get great perks like 10 percent off all new comics. And I believe trade paperbacks too. My favorite thing about this store is they put together packets of consecutive issues for both new and old series. Really helpful if you want to dive into a series that started awhile ago and you don't have to hunt down single issues. Recently grabbed the first 8 issues of East of West because it was all there ready to go. But they put together old and new stuff. AvX, Brightest Day, Generation X, X-Statix, Civil War, tons of complete miniseries 80s-current. And their Christmas-New Years sale is out of this world.
