In terms of pricing you will pay a little more for the same items that you can get at major stores like target or Walmart but I always would rather support a small business over the chain type stores. In the shopping bag were these things I wanted to sell: 1) Ten loose packs of hockey cards - Ken's wasn't interested. 2) A sealed box of hockey card packs - Ken's wasn't interested. 3) A ziplock bag of 1988 Topps baseball coins -Ken's wasn't interested But in the binder were over 200 Wrestling cards from the 1990's, and to my surprise, Ken's was VERY interested in buying them. Now I know that shouldn't have been a surprise because I learned Ken's has devoted a whole room exclusively to wrestling memorabilia, and they were super interested in my Hulk Hogans, Andre the Giants, and Macho Man Savages. They bought every single card and I walked out with a price I could live with. If you have any wrestling fans in the family, they will do a pile-driver off the top rope and have a blast looking around Ken's Rasslin' Room. .

And it's so much more than just a book store. They have crystals and stones, beads and jewelry making supplies, candles, candle holders, oils, incense, oils/tart warmers, and of course books. I spent hours in there! And I gladly would have spent more time but they were closing! There's just so much to see. And they have incredible deals! So many books are only 99¢ and any book priced at $4.99 is BOGO. And I was told that any book without a special price label is 50% off the retail price listed on the back of the book! Another cool thing that they offer is, let's say you find a book for $4.99, but can't find another book you want for $4.99 to take advantage of the BOGO, they will give you a voucher good for a free $4.99 book on your next visit! How awesome is that! The employees were so sweet and helpful, too! The owner introduced himself to me and we chatted for a while. When I told him how happy I was to find a book by Alan Watts that I had been searching for he then told me that he had a few more by him that weren't out on display yet and grabbed them for me! Exceptional customer service. There aren't many stores like this because it's not like your regular bookstore. The books range from metaphysics, philosophy, eastern religion, holistic/alternative medicine and so much more. I really can't wait to go back! Oh, and just a quick tip. It is a little hard to find. More specifically, it's about how did I start to liquidate my baseball card collection with a professionally run business and get treated with courtesy and fairness. I collected cards as a kid, and a few pretty good cards from the '60's are still in my possession today. 1967 was a particularly good year as I saved a Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, and a Hank Aaron, But like most hobbyists, I jumped hard into the baseball card market in the late 1980's, and as the 80's moved into the '90's, the card companies flooded the market with a ton of product. This glut of cards is known today as the "Junk Card Era", as Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score, and Upper Deck among others ran the presses. 90% of these cards are worth zilch, and I remember a card guy I talked to at the Elephant's Trunk Flea Market recommended burning all of my cards produced after 1990. But there are a handful of exceptions, mostly rookie cards of elite Hall of Fame level players. The 1989 Upper Deck Complete set is a prime example, as the market value for the full 800 cards is just about equal to the market value of the set's first card - #1 which is the rookie card of Ken Griffey Jr. As a test, I approached Fearless to see about selling my 1989 Upper Deck sets. I had one factory sealed set, and a hand collated set culled from individual packs I had bought back in 1989. I learned that the value of the hand collated set is more or less identical to the value of the Griffey card. So I sold the Factory set, and the #1 Griffey card, and was treated fairly. Hats off to Brandon and Matt who are super friendly and knowledgeable. I know this will be my first of many future transactions with them.
