Let's start by saying that Connor was an awesome bartender, he offered us samples and great recommendations. The brewery itself was a fair size and open, but looked like other breweries minus a white board that an employee had some great dry erase art work on. The pours were delicious and I believe they did have some food on offer, but we just got drinks while we were there. I do recommend this if you enjoy breweries and are in the cocoa area.

FUN FACT: Brevard County, which is affectionately called the Space Coast of Florida, currently has nine breweries/distilleries throughout the county. Historic Cocoa Village, the iconic downtown area of Cocoa, FL, currently has two breweries. The one that seems to be the biggest to me, well in terms of social activity, is Bugnutty Brewing Company. Located just west of the primary streets of Historic Cocoa Village, Bugnutty Brewing Company (which I will shorthand simply to Bugnutty for the remainder of this interview) looks like the loading dock for their casks when observed westward from Brevard Ave. When I first entered, there was a door that wasn't exactly marked as the entrance, but I assumed it would be the entrance you'd go through for patrons. My friend Chops, however, went through the open garage door. Ergo, it is like stepping into a warehouse, a highly-decorated, A/C-ed warehouse. Upon entering, there is a seating area for dining up front. Further west, there is an area that is clearly a makeshift stage for local acts. On the southside of the "patron space" is the bar. Chops, Patrick, and I sat at one of the tables and ordered brews. I also ordered food, too. This is where Bugnutty is kind of, well... just a-okay. First and foremost, I tried a number of their brews via a flight. There is something kind of off when the highest-rated brew is thier non-alcoholic root beer. As a matter of fact, their in-house root beer is even the highest-rated brew Bugnutty has on Untappd. As for the food, I am not impressed. I have to always try the grilled cheese sandwich. Grilled cheeses is usually a simple thing and that is what I got. However, given the price, not worth the purchase. Ultimately, Bugnutty is a-okay. Not exactly top tier among the nine breweries in Brevard, but still a good place to hang out, especially when someone cool is performing on a Friday or Saturday night. However, if I were to get drinks and a better selection of food (maybe because they also have a food truck tag team with them like Intracoastal does), I would take the quick stroll to The Dirty Oar Brewing Company, the other brewery in Historic Cocoa Village. __________ SPECIAL NOTE: Bugnutty Brewing Company is both a verified location on Untappd and one of the breweries/distelleries patrons must visit and check in on the Space Coast Launches & Lagers II Tour. Complete the tour and you'll get either a special sticker or patch.

Went to see Beatles tribute band Daytripper. Beers were great as well as the appetizers and sandwiches. Had a great time, will be back.

This is one of our local breweries, located in Cocoa Vilage. This brewery is pretty unexpectedly big inside with lots of seating and a open floor plan great for live music on their stage adjacent to the bar. On a nice cool day similar to the one on our visit they open the garage door and let cool air flow in. The bar staff are very friendly and really helpful. They have a large variety of beer on tap and they will let you try different beers on tap. I am a cider/wine girl and they even had options for me. My friend and husband really enjoyed their beers.! They have the coolest flights. We also got some wings and tater tots to share while my son was having fun with a game from their shelf of various games. We can't wait to come back here during live music and try some more freshly brewed beers.

I was excited to try it here due to the fun name but was pretty underwhelmed... a few tables and bar seating available. Bar was maybe 1/3 full and two tables were taken? Bartender seemed friendly enough but overwhelmed. Empty glasses everywhere and he seemed to be having to cook along with serve beer so wait time was a bit hefty. Ordered a sampler of beer and some tator tots with bacon and cheese. Food was good, no complaints. Our friends ordered a pretzel which came split into a few pieces so they couldn't display on a stand like normal. Sadly, I could not find a beer I liked here. I tried the black IPA's, a regular IPA, there was an apple pie blonde? And a smoky ale (not good). I love beer overall and I was not impressed so we left because sadly it just wasn't that great.

They have a traditional warehouse style brewery. Lots of space. I sampled many beers and didn't taste one I didn't like. My favorite was the vanilla Irish red on nitro. We also got street corn nachos that were delicious!!! My son had lots of space to play with trucks out of the way of others. I look forward to going back!

Received a gift card as a gift for Bugnutty. It had been recommended by our neighbor as one of their favorite breweries in the area. Came on a weekday afternoon, so inside was relatively quiet. Bugnutty had a long list of beers on tap and a small menu of food that consisted of small sides, sandwiches and other food to accompany the beers. The beers themselves were varied and I really appreciated that. I was able to make myself a stout/dark beer sampler and my wife one of all IPAs. There was a small stage and that day there was no live music but I could see it being fun to beer here as well on a different night. Overall, I definitely recommend!

I'm just going to say that I don't make it to Cocoa often. In fact, prior to visiting Bugnutty, I'd never been. The brewery is located near the cool little Cocoa Village area, with ample parking. It's always a plus when a brewery makes it really easy to stop in for a beer - it makes me want to go more often. Inside, it's a fairly typical Florida brewery-fashioned-from-a-warehouse setup - seating area and bar partitioned off from the brewing equipment. Laid back, simple and effective. The guys working behind the bar are cool. One of those places you go to kick back and relax with no pretense. I only had time to hit one Cocoa brewery, and I chose this one because it had a fairly interesting tap list, good selection of various styles. This meant a flight was in order. A flight here is $15 for 6 decent 4 ounce pours, and is the obvious way to try a bunch of beers you want to try without staggering out of the brewery drunk. Speaking of the beers, I had just been thinking of the Black IPA/"Cascadian Dark" style, and how it was very popular around 2007-11 or so, with old classics like Stone's Sublimely Self-Righteous, and Southern Tier's Iniquity, but really faded into obscurity after that. So, I was stoked to walk into this brewery and see that they had one on tap. That was part of my flight for sure. It's called Dark Matter. And it's good. I also loved Oatdis the Elder, an oatmeal stout with a nice smooth feel like any well-done oatmeal stout. Having been full from breakfast, I didn't eat, but they do have a pub menu here, and I have to admit, the baked brie topped with a blueberry-Oatdis beer compote looked very, very tempting. That'll have to wait until I can make it back!

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Apparently, the Yelp Skynet a.k.a. the AI that green or red flags reviews, doesn't like the actual name of this pub despite the fact it is the pub's name. Ergo, I will use the abbreviation VI for the remainder of this review. Besides that, you really can't go wrong going to any of the pubs in Historic Cocoa Village. VI is one of the pubs on the eastern side of the Village, in between the famous Fat Donkey's Ice Cream and the furthest east pub in the village, Ryan's. Appearance-wise, the outside fits primarily with the building, but there are some minute details that give it its own personality, primarily around its name. There is also a section of the road and sidewalk that have been garrisoned for VI as outdoor seating and games such as bean bag toss. Indoors, it is definitely your kinda pub that many of the patrons are friends. The right side (East) have long tables with many pub and drinking games such as Hook & Ring and Shut The Box. There is a bookshelf filled to the brim with board games in case patrons prefer traditional or childhood classics. The left side (West) is the "Patio," a room that is decorated by numerous plants, neon lighting, widker and a black-and-white checkerboard floor. Finally, the middle of the pub is the actual bar, in the form of an L-shape serving a nice arrangement of beers from many breweries, cideries, distilleries, and meaderies across the United States. I had the Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Ale by Lexington Brewing and Distilling Co. Other beer selections I would recommend include the Pineapple Cider by the famous Carib Brewing Co. and the Mango Cart by Golden Road Brewing. Personal note on the latter: Mango Carts, well for me, only taste good when straight from the tap. Cans are not good. And the food, it is minimal, but boy does VI know how to tug at my heartstrings as everything they have features, or could feature, cheese. They have pretzels with cheese, pickles with cheese, and my personal favorite, grilled cheese sandwiches. And for the more sophisticated patron, they have numerous choices in charcuterie boards, too. I will also state the drink prices are a bit on the high side compared to some other places I been to. And there are two restrooms that are single-serving and gender-specific. I don't believe the latter has to be gender-specific because they are single-serving. The barn doors are an interesting choice because they are not very good at blocking sound. I guess that is why VI blasts the music so nobody can hear the flatulence. Speaking of music, VI does have a small corner stage for small acts, possibly singular, to perform. Unless there is a pull-out large stage for outdoor performances, I don't see big bands, per se in higher number of members, performing here unless they can all jam in that tight-spaced stage. Ultimately, I am going to give VI three-out-of-five stars for this review. They are a solid pub that has all the fixin's of a good bar to go to. Maybe it is safe to say they really don't stand out too much, especially amongst the more unique bars in Historic Cocoa Village. But still, a good place to have a drink with friends with that "Everybody knows your name" kinda vibe.

We had family visiting from out of town who were craving sushi, and we immediately knew exactly where to take them. If you're trying to impress guests, or trying to convince them to move here, this is the spot!! The seafood is next level. We started with one of our favorites, the rock shrimp toast along with something new, gambas al Japan (aka DELICIOUS shrimp)! For my dish, I ordered the American roll and it was phenomenal, I will 100% order again! My brother-in-law ordered a bluefin tasting along with the smoked hamachi, and it was nearly impossible to pick a favorite. My sister-in-law got the curry, and the sauce was so good it was practically drinkable. My husband stuck with his usual, the wagyu steak sandwich, which never disappoints. You truly can't go wrong with that dish. We finished with the oolong tea crème brûlée, which was incredible, and the oolong jam was such a unique and delicious surprise. We sat at the bar and had the chance to learn more about Daniel's cuisines, he is so knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly passionate about what he does. His creative take on each dish makes the entire dining experience unforgettable. We're already looking forward to coming back!!
