I was in desperate need of coffee yesterday so I asked some people under the Myrt Tharp Gazebo where I could find a good cup of coffee. They all said absolutely OSSORIO bakery across the street. I got there about 9:30 AM and there was a line so obviously they're good. However, the line moved very quickly! They're very quick taking orders much faster than Starbucks could ever hope to be and not only taking your order but getting it to you. I appreciated that. It smelled so wonderful in there of roasted coffee, baking breads with just a hint of cinnamon in the air. If I could put that in a bottle I would definitely use it as an air freshener! Everyone was so friendly and understanding because I was in desperate need of coffee so my ability to articulate wasn't great. The coffee was perfect, just the right amount of milk and sugar I didn't have to change a thing. I'm up in Cocoa Village occasionally and I definitely will be stopping in here. I didn't get any of their pastries or food but everyone else who was having it said it was fantastic. Definitely worth a stop! read more

Stopped by on way to the beach for a quick lunch. We ordered the Black and Blue steak pizza (or as they call it, flat bread). It was good but not great. It was nice and hot and the pizza was enough to share but the meat was way too done and just meh. We sat outside enjoying the sun and service was fine. There's parking in the area. We dined in that day, and we had a great time chatting while sitting at a table with a view of the streets of Cocoa Village. It reminded me of my time spent living in New York City. Excellent food and excellent service. We had a bacon cheddar omelette, an asparagus brie omelette, and a pecan croissant. The omelettes were really, really good. A pet peeve of mine is restaurants that serve browned omelettes. They were perfectly yellow. Nicely stuffed--mine had lots of asparagus, and it was very tender. The bacon in the other omelette was actually fully cooked and crispy. Delicious!Coffee was excellent, and I'm not easily impressed with restaurant coffee. The pecan croissant was good. It would have been amazing, but the pecans were slightly overcooked. Note to self: they put black pepper in the omelette, so next time I'll ask them not to. Most of the chairs are those metal ones with bars down the sides--extremely uncomfortable for zaftig women. If they just put in a few more chairs without metal sides, I'd give them 6 stars. read more

I ordered their Mixed Fruit Tart. The fruit was fresh and the tart crust was light and flaky. It was delicious! I also had a Cafe Mocha. It was seriously one of the best I've ever had. It was robust, with a great taste and of course the whip cream added a nice touch. There are hard copy menus on your right on a small table immediately after entering (easy to miss). There's also copies on the window as you approach the front counter where you place your order. There's also an outdoor ordering window in case you have your favorite 4-legged friend keeping you company. The seating offers three choices. One can sit outside under an umbrella-covered table and enjoy the views of downtown Cocoa Village or choose to sit inside (when it's really hot (- like 80% of the time, ha!). Inside seating consists of a comfortable atmosphere with plenty of seating in the main ordering room, or in an adjoining room (watch that step down). There are interesting and entertaining pictures on the walls which contribute to a relaxed venue. The employees were helpful and friendly. Located in the heart of Cocoa Village. This is a must try spot for lunch. They offer a cozy environment with indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area has plenty of seating. Dogs are welcome on their patio. Their food is all fresh and homemade with very reasonable prices. You can immediately tell when you come here that it's a very chill/inviting spot. They bake all of their breads and pastries in house. When I came recently I got a flatbread pizza and it was delicious. My kids really love their homemade ice cream. They also sale tea and coffee. Found ourselves walking around and in need of a snack so we stopped by Ossorio's. The inside is so cute. Very bright and a place you could meet a friend and hangout for awhile. A very kind woman who seemed like the owner greeted us and gave us menus. We ordered an Arnold Palmer, hibiscus iced tea and a chocolate croissant. They make their lemonade fresh so the Arnold was exquisite. The hibiscus tea was also really good. And the croissant? Amazing!! It tasted fresh and was flakey on the outside but soft on the inside. Such a cute and cozy spot! I love the options that were available for my gluten free friend! My favorite was the fruit tart. It was so delicious and beautiful. They have great seating options both outside and inside. I also ordered a cranberry hibiscus tea and it was so yum. I'm going to have to buy some of those for me at home. Stopped by this cute restaurant on our way to Jacksonville. The inside is big with cute furniture and decor. We ordered the tea of the day which was a Raspberry Herbal Tea and it was delicious. We had the BLT and the Chicken sandwiches. The sandwiches are made on flatbread which is a great twist. The BLT was delicious, but the chicken was a little dry. Both are served with a sweet potato fingerling. Overall it was a good experience and recommend if you are in the area. read more

Ossorio's has an okay menu, but their complete lack of accommodation for food allergies is unacceptable. I was told they could not serve me anything because of cross contamination. That's not just inconvenient, it's irresponsible. There is no excuse for not having basic allergy protocols in place. Food allergies are a serious health matter, not a preference or an inconvenience. If my friends hadn't already ordered I would've left. Until they take allergy awareness seriously and train their staff accordingly, I cannot recommend this place to anyone with dietary restrictions. read more

Peggy's Roasted Veggie Sandwich ($9.50) was incredible - the fresh warm flatbread was something special with cheese melted on it, and it was stuffed with plenty of types of roasted veggies, more than I could count. Delicious and filling! The iced chai latte ($5.80) with coconut milk was also solid. The staff is super nice and accommodating :) Right now it's order at the window and outdoor seating only. We love strolling Cocoa Village. We never saw Ossorio until my hubby was searching for coffee spots. IDK how we missed this huge corner venue! There are plenty of seats. The service is great. I looked confused when I walked in, but the associate at the counter directed me to the menu on the bookshelf. I ordered a caramel macchiato and spinach & feta omelette. Hubby got a steak omelette and espresso macchiato. Both my items were great. He didn't really like his omelette because the steak was dry. His espresso was good, though. While we waited for our food to be prepared, I was trying to look at the homemade ice cream, but boxes blocked my view and an associate immediately directed me to the list of flavors on top of the ice cream cooler. Maybe during the summer or when it's hotter we I'll be back to try the ice cream. read more

Truly a charming spot if you want a cup of coffee or some hot chocolate. Their apple and cheese tart was spectacular. We also tried the chocolate croissant, and that was just ok. I wish they had more baked good varieties given that they're a bakery you know? But otherwise it was great. Accidently began the Brevard "Tour de Switch" - a recent Florida Today article had a review of best sandwiches in Brevard. Wife and I stopped by for a Buddy's Beef - steak slices, melted cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and red onions sprinkled with balsamic vinaigrette in a folded flatbread. It goes into the wood fired onion and comes out a crispy, smoky delight. I was in the area running errands. I stopped by to try their French Croisssant and Flat White Coffee. The server was very friendly and precautions were taken to provide a safe transaction. In no time I had my croissant and coffee. The flat white was absolutely delicious. Bold and sweet topped with a perfectly blended cloud of light foam. Delicious! The croissant is clearly rolled by hand. The crust was flakey while the inside was soft and when you pull it apart the soft dough stretches just as it should. The taste is fabulous and the size of the croissant is perfect, not to big or too small. I can't wait to try more. read more

My favorite cafe that i make a point to go to every time I'm back home visiting. The open face croissant is buttery, crispy and oh so delectable. The brick oven pizzas are excellent too. My friend and I had just gotten off of our cruise and we're looking for something to eat for brunch and I went on yelp, and located this place. Everything here that is in the bakery is made from scratch and it is delicious! I ordered the open faced croissant with feta and spinach with a side of bacon and a chai tea latte. My friend also had an open faced croissant which is not pictured with bacon and cheese and an iced caramel latte. Everything was fresh! I enjoyed the croissant so much that I purchased to go; a sandwich for my boyfriend to and I also purchased two croissants for my mother. The bag was oily however, that's how you know that real butter was used! Everything was delicious the croissants were nice and flaky!
