Rainbow cake for St. Patrick's Day
    Alexandria G.

This adorable bakery is located steps from Cocoa Beach downtown. We popped in around 4 in the afternoon to find beautiful cakes, bakery items, and local artisan crafts like pottery and earrings. I chose the seasonal vanilla rainbow cake slice. It was delicious and a generous portion, too. The server was friendly and helpful. They have whole cakes, homemade pop tarts, homemade magic bars (bakery cosmic brownies), coffee, and individual cheesecakes.

Friendly staff. Not a huge selection but everything looked good. They had a pancake cake that looked delicious. The cake was yummy!!!

Would give 10 stars! The food is beautiful and tasted delicious. We got cookies and macarons but they didn't last long because they were so tasty. Our coffee was perfect, too. The bakery is warm and welcoming, filled with great art and lovely gifts for sale. We really enjoyed chatting with the baker who was so friendly. Would absolutely recommend. There are some tables if you prefer to eat in, but we took our treats to go. Very cute place to hang out if you have time. This business has gender neutral restrooms.

I am SO happy we went with Junk Food Bakery for our wedding slicing cake and cupcakes!! The staff was fun, easy to work with, communicative, and flexible when I changed my mind last min ‍ They made our vision come to life (better than I imagined in my head)!! The cake was fresh and delicious, and the frosting was a work of art. Even our pup, Ruby approved. I highly recommend Junk Food Bakery for your wedding needs (they offer tastings too!)

They baked my grandson's 3th birthday cake with a fireman theme and it was perfect and tasted great! A million times better than Publix!

This was the best cinnamon roll I've had in years, finished it all in one sitting. Ask them to warm it up/toast it, they're super chill

We purchased several items to try a bit of each. The Cinnamon roll was good. I think it could have benefitted from even more cinnamon. The "scones," yes, in quotations, were really nothing like a scone. They looked like scones but otherwise were like nothing I'd ever eaten. Extremely crunchy on the outside and chewy, dense and almost wet on the inside. I expected more flavor. I would have written one off as baked incorrectly but all three? They were each a different flavor. I'm sad to say they were disappointing. I love supporting small businesses and they are all so nice. I'll have to give it another try.

Also enjoyed a cranberry orange scone-not crusty but soft and full of yummy bits of flavor. I brought home a fabulous rosemary cheddar sourdough, one of the best sourdoughs I've enjoyed! Both rich in flavor & texture. I was in town 4 days and there 3 days!!! Prob a good thing I don't live closer. But now I have TWO reasons to return (the other being the beach!) The one thing they don't have going on is flavored iced coffee drinks, there are nearby options for that. *Also noting that "wake & bake" is also a cannabis reference but I do not believe it has anything to do with this company's name choice.

Surprisingly a lot of seating indoors and a few tables outdoor. We ordered it for pickup and it was ready within 20 min. The food was decent, but the service was horrible when we picked up our order. We were standing at the door for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us and they definitely saw us. I asked for ketchup and hot sauce to go and the girl gave me little cups and said "they're over there on the table you can grab it." No ketchup packets or anything? We are visiting and don't have condiments at our Airbnb. The servers were all dismissive. Rude service, we definitely won't be back. Steak&eggs: (2/5) We ordered MEDIUM and the steak came out hard and overly well done. Disappointment for the price of the tiny piece of steak. Omelette: (4/5) This was pretty good. Nice portion. The breakfast potatoes were delicious. Sourdough toast: (4/5) Huge slices of bread and it was very tasty.

After a sunny day at the beach, our group of eight walked to this shop and decided on buying a whole pie for $18 instead of two slices at $5 a pop. Certainly the better deal, but we also didn't want to regret later for not ordering enough. Well, it was a very good decision. We devoured the whole pie in one sitting like a bunch of starving hyenas seeing food for the first time in weeks. There was not a crumb left by the time we finished. The pie was as great as they say, and definitely one of the best I ever had. Just the right amount sour and tartness without being overly sweet. If I were to nitpick, then I would like a slightly thicker graham cracker crust. Not sure when I'll come back to Cape Canaveral again. However, if I do, this may have become stop number one on my list. You can find beaches everywhere, but an excellent key lime pies is a treasure you rarely discover.

The word "ice cream" caught my eye, and even if it was late February, the weather was warm, which is strange, given a week prior to our arrival, it was freezing cold, so ice cream it was. There was a little line in the store, with only one man scooping ice cream for a bunch of people waiting (who was also the cashier). It was funny to see how people would copy each other with choosing the flavor; the lady in front said "sweet cream" flavor, and each successive person behind her said the same thing, even if they were not with her. I stuck to my guns and got the Key Lime Pie Ice cream, which was a great choice! Sweet, creamy and tangy, all the right combo! They also have candies, salt water taffies of all flavors, beer, alligator jerky, Tortuga rum cakes, key lime pies, a huge wall of hot sauces, and gifts. I ended up walking out with a bottle of hot sauce and orange blossom perfume roller ball, which was very nice. Prices were reasonable given this is tourist-town.
