We purchased several items to try a bit of each. The Cinnamon roll was good. I think it could have benefitted from even more cinnamon. The "scones," yes, in quotations, were really nothing like a scone. They looked like scones but otherwise were like nothing I'd ever eaten. Extremely crunchy on the outside and chewy, dense and almost wet on the inside. I expected more flavor. I would have written one off as baked incorrectly but all three? They were each a different flavor. I'm sad to say they were disappointing. I love supporting small businesses and they are all so nice. I'll have to give it another try.

Surprisingly a lot of seating indoors and a few tables outdoor. We ordered it for pickup and it was ready within 20 min. The food was decent, but the service was horrible when we picked up our order. We were standing at the door for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us and they definitely saw us. I asked for ketchup and hot sauce to go and the girl gave me little cups and said "they're over there on the table you can grab it." No ketchup packets or anything? We are visiting and don't have condiments at our Airbnb. The servers were all dismissive. Rude service, we definitely won't be back. Steak&eggs: (2/5) We ordered MEDIUM and the steak came out hard and overly well done. Disappointment for the price of the tiny piece of steak. Omelette: (4/5) This was pretty good. Nice portion. The breakfast potatoes were delicious. Sourdough toast: (4/5) Huge slices of bread and it was very tasty.

After a sunny day at the beach, our group of eight walked to this shop and decided on buying a whole pie for $18 instead of two slices at $5 a pop. Certainly the better deal, but we also didn't want to regret later for not ordering enough. Well, it was a very good decision. We devoured the whole pie in one sitting like a bunch of starving hyenas seeing food for the first time in weeks. There was not a crumb left by the time we finished. The pie was as great as they say, and definitely one of the best I ever had. Just the right amount sour and tartness without being overly sweet. If I were to nitpick, then I would like a slightly thicker graham cracker crust. Not sure when I'll come back to Cape Canaveral again. However, if I do, this may have become stop number one on my list. You can find beaches everywhere, but an excellent key lime pies is a treasure you rarely discover.

The word "ice cream" caught my eye, and even if it was late February, the weather was warm, which is strange, given a week prior to our arrival, it was freezing cold, so ice cream it was. There was a little line in the store, with only one man scooping ice cream for a bunch of people waiting (who was also the cashier). It was funny to see how people would copy each other with choosing the flavor; the lady in front said "sweet cream" flavor, and each successive person behind her said the same thing, even if they were not with her. I stuck to my guns and got the Key Lime Pie Ice cream, which was a great choice! Sweet, creamy and tangy, all the right combo! They also have candies, salt water taffies of all flavors, beer, alligator jerky, Tortuga rum cakes, key lime pies, a huge wall of hot sauces, and gifts. I ended up walking out with a bottle of hot sauce and orange blossom perfume roller ball, which was very nice. Prices were reasonable given this is tourist-town.

I used to go to Cocoa Beach every year growing up. When my mom got sick with stage 4 cancer this past year and decided that she wanted to eventually have her ashes scattered there, we took one more trip together as a whole family while everyone was still around. My wife reached out to the hotel and a couple of businesses nearby with our story. Kelly invited my whole family in for a free meal, and showered us with love, warmth, and generosity of spirit unlike any other business---or frankly, stranger---than I ever encountered. We wanted to repay her for her kindness, so we picked out some cute hats from her shop, but when we went to pay her for them, she ended up giving us those too, and throwing in a deck of cards for my son. Lastly, after walking us over to her next door neighboring business, The Fat Donkey, to do the same (she had talked to them earlier), Kelly had such a moving, long conversation with my mom. I'm not sure what they talked about, but it was unbelievably clear that we all felt the same way about Kelly. Please please please go to the Tiny Turtle. Spend your money there. Give this business your love. Tell the waiters that you heard the food was good and the owner was even better. This is the kind of business that is not only bringing good food to people for a good price, but is bringing good to people, period. Thank you, Kelly, for all that you did for my mom and for my family. I know that it may not seem like much for strangers reading this review, but the generosity and kindness and beautiful caring words from a stranger when we are going through a hard year was much more impactful than what people know. I'm hoping that it will be a long time until we see you again, but we will most certainly be back to the Tiny Turtle.
