My son ordered what can only be described as an engineering marvel: chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone dipped in chocolate and then rolled in either Butterfinger, Heath, or some other delicious candy-coated masterpiece. I honestly lost track somewhere between "dipped" and "rolled." It looked less like an ice cream cone and more like a dare. My daughter got a twist cone rolled in Heath pieces and was equally thrilled. Both kids loved their treats, which is a pretty solid endorsement considering teenagers treat compliments like they're being charged by the word. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, there were plenty of benches to sit and enjoy your sugar-induced happiness, and they even have a rewards program. Because apparently they know we'll be back. We're locals, not tourists, and this place is ALWAYS busy. After our first visit, I finally understand why. We devoured the whole pie in one sitting like a bunch of starving hyenas seeing food for the first time in weeks. There was not a crumb left by the time we finished. The pie was as great as they say, and definitely one of the best I ever had. Just the right amount sour and tartness without being overly sweet. If I were to nitpick, then I would like a slightly thicker graham cracker crust. Not sure when I'll come back to Cape Canaveral again. It was funny to see how people would copy each other with choosing the flavor; the lady in front said "sweet cream" flavor, and each successive person behind her said the same thing, even if they were not with her. I stuck to my guns and got the Key Lime Pie Ice cream, which was a great choice! Sweet, creamy and tangy, all the right combo! They also have candies, salt water taffies of all flavors, beer, alligator jerky, Tortuga rum cakes, key lime pies, a huge wall of hot sauces, and gifts.
