I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant manager as I was on Saturday August 18,2018. My husband and I took our house guest from Orange County, California to eat at Bugatti's. When I unfolded by cloth napkin food was smeared all over the inside of the napkin. I presented the napkin to the manager who promptly blamed the filthy napkin on their linen company. I wonder why the napkin folder ignored the filth as well. The manager did not say he was sorry or ask what he could do but just walked off with the silverware still inside the napkin and brought me a new napkin. I find this behavior of "blame someone else" very upsetting. We spend nearly $100 that evening. The food was below mediocre and the service average. The blame game is what was totally amazing from a manager. Naturally we relate the story to everyone we know. I also reported this on the Bugatti web site but have not received an acknowledgment. Just finished dinner and it was wonderful. From the fresh baked bread to the richly flavored pastas to the huge brownie dessert piled with ice cream, whipped cream and walnuts, we couldn't be happier. 6/17/2018 Noooooooooo! What happened?! We love this restaurant so hopefully our meal today is a one-off experience. My chicken with artichoke pasta sauce tasted rancid, the Eggplant Parmesan sauce had no flavor and the eggplant was dried out and tough like shoe leather, and the delicious focaccia bread they serve while you wait for your meal is usually something they are known for, but not today. If we judge this restaurant by comparing it to all of our former meals here, I'd have to say they are cutting corners big time. Hopefully this is not the case and we just had a chef performing below his or her potential. Hopefully next time it's back to it's former glory. I'd hate to lose one of Oregon City's best restaurants. read more

My family really liked the menu having a build your own, since they are really picky eaters. The kids menu also had a build your own. All of the dinners also offered a full or half option. I got cheese tortolinis with alfredo and meatballs. The sauce and pasta were good, but I didn't care for the meatballs. They had a ton of onions in them that were over powering. The bread at the start was also very good and the dipping sauce was olive oil with a ton of garlic that fit my tastes well. read more

Went back again since this is our favorite place for date night and they've been our "go to" place forever. The normal staff were on board and they are impeccable as always! Yummmmm! We love to take our kids here. It's nice enough for a date but the environment is loud with background noise I never feel like kids are over the top. They are generous with breadsticks and food portions. My kids all love the mac and cheese. Heck, I love the mac and cheese. It's pretty busy on weekends but lines move quickly. read more

This is a tough review. We kept going back and forth over the rating. The service was very slow and lackluster. The food was not bad, but not great. (Rather runny sauce with not a whole lot of flavor and a tough chicken parmesan) My husband's bread pudding was ok. The only redeeming element was there tiramisu. Now THAT was amazing. I took my wife here for our wedding anniversary and the experience was superb. We were seated in 10 minutes (after asking for a booth) and were waited on right away. I cannot recall the waiter's name but he provided exceptional service. We were not interrupted during our dinner and he came by at the right moments to ask how the food was, if we needed anything else and to give us our check. We asked him to take two pictures for us which he did with great enthusiasm. Dress-wise my wife and I went semi-formal for this dinner but you can easily come in jeans and a t-shirt. I cannot say enough good things about Bugatti's Oregon City. My wife had the lobster and prawn tortellini and I had the gamberetti with prawns and both came out pleasing to the eye and tasted just as good. Before our main dishes we had their bread and my wife had a ceasar side salad which she said was good as well. I do not know why it took us so long to give this place a try but we will certainly be back for more because there are a few other dishes we would like to try. We chose Bugatti's for the location for my Mom's 70th surprise birthday party, because it has been one of her favorite restaurants for years. We were going to be a bit of a difficult party... because we wanted this to be a surprise and it was a large group. Seventeen of us! So I emailed ahead and received contact from Nathan & Damien, confirming that they had our reservation, and could accommodate a couple of special requests. When we all arrived the hostess said they were expecting us! They took us right to our table which was all set up and ready. Our waitress was amazing! She made sure that candles were on the large Tiramisu cake they arranged for us, and was so attentive to all 17 of us! The food and drink exceeded our expectations. Everyone loved their dishes! We pulled off the surprise, and a lot of that credit goes to Bugatti's. Thank you for living up to my Mother's opinion of you all of these years:) read more

Eh, so so. It's perfect when it's what you're craving. If you're hungry and would like a nice place to eat, but aren't sure what you want; the selection is pretty limited. Italian Margaritas are to die for though. Beautiful mix, quite delightful. The staff is polite and helpful, but often so busy you rarely see them. The bread is super hit or miss, most of the time it's good or great; the other times it's like cardboard. I would say go grab a bite, ita pretty good. Also, a very clean restaurant. read more

I love Bugatti's I miss lydia so much! She was professional and she also understood what we could do for her. I know that she went through so much and than she left. It broke our hearts knowing that she wasn't going to be around to make sure things got done the right way! Now we have to start over with new management and things are changing. Bugatti's has become our "go to" restaurant when out in Oregon City Hilltop area. Contrary to a couple other reviews, they are an Italian restaurant serving mostly an Italian menu. The 3 stars are for the food. It was great. The rest of the experience kinda sucked. Had my parents in town fro Father's Day they requested if find a place with outside seating since it was a nice sunny day. Call Bugattis about 1pm on Father's Day assuming they would be booked, but to they had availability. I asked for outside seating. They said they didn't know if it would be open. Waiting for a rainy day?? I assumed they would since its Father's Day. I asked if it does open can we sit there. They said they would note i would prefer to sit outside if open. Showed up on time. Noticed peeps eating outside. Checked in they said no outside seating left that i would need to wait 30 - 40 minutes. I said i have reservation. Then they told me outside is first come first serve. A very stupid conversation continued and i gave up on the stupid excuses. Very poor communication. Also server was grumpy but everyone has a bad day so i can deal with that. I'm rather irritated. I was told by the hostess that they 'can't' take phone orders for R2 Ranch Burger, which is the same company with the same phone number and address. I was told to order through Grubhub vs picking up the order. I have to pay an extra $15 when I live a mile down the road for food made at the same location that accepts pick up and eat in orders during covid? What is wrong with people anymore? My husband I have been eating at Bugatti's for 18 years. Until this past year we have enjoyed many delicious and tasty dish's. Over this past year we both agree that the food quality and taste has gone down hill. I recently had the shrimp scampi and it arrived luck warm, came with 8 boiled shrimp on the side of about1/4 cup of spaghetti and a bunch of broccoli all swimming in watery butter and lemon sauce because they obviously warmed the shrimp and spaghetti in hot water before plating it. I literally had to pour off the water onto another plate. It was so bland and disgusting. Not worth the $18 price tag. read more

Got invited to lunch here and the mixed reviews made me a bit nervous but I wasn't paying so I went. It's quite a large restaurant and we were there on a Friday about 2pm so it was slow and mostly empty. We were seated immediately and waited on right away. Our waitress was helpful, patient with our elderly companions and had a great smile(sometimes those are rare these days). We had drinks with no straws offered(important to my Laudate Si friends) I had a Greek pizza which was excellent, my friends had the bacon mac and cheese and the cioppino and said they were good. Before our main course came she brought foccacia and oil which was so good I could have just had that for lunch with a salad. Then we ended with creme bruleë which had warm sugar crust and was also highly rated by our resident creme bruleë snobs. Parking is easy, handicap access as well. We were with a large group and first off, the service was very good. The bread and dipping oil was also very good. I am only giving this place two stars because the entrees were sub par. The chicken Marsala lacked Marsala sauce. Capers were even uncoated and thrown on like an afterthought. The chicken breast were dry and small. They reminded me of those frozen Boneless Chicken breast's that you buy in bulk at Costco. The Angel hair pasta was flavorless...has something oily drizzled over it but flavorless never the less. I tried my partners Beef Tenders and it was tough meat on a reduced A-1 type of sauce that over tuned any flavor of the beef. The prices would have been fine with me had the food been good. Delicious food with good portion sizes! Everything I've had on their menu is delicious, but my absolute favorite is a classic chicken fettuccine alfredo. Almost as good as the main dishes and desserts is their complimentary focaccia bread, served with olive oil and garlic. Their drinks are also tasty, but a little spendy. This lace has really gone downhill! Me husband ordered the steak salad, which he used to love here, it had very little meat and just a plate of greens. My pizza wa fine but super salty and I bit into a piece of plastic something. ( the waitress did take the pizza off the bill when I showed it to her) our friend had a seafood stew with this piece of burnt black flat bread. I would like to thank Bugatti's for their all day happy hour on tax day. The place was packed and the service was great. The waits weren't long even though every table was full. We had Dan for our waiter and nobody ever saw the bottom of their glass. Thank you Bugatti's for taking a little of the sting out of tax day! Very unhappy with the Sunday happy hour portions. I come here with my fiance when we are feeling like having a nice dinner out. The food is always delicious, the service is good, and the cocktails are fantastic. Last night we ordered the mac and cheese, lobster prawn tortellini, calamari, and the caprese salad with a mojito and blood orange martini. So delish! We will be back soon. read more

I've returned twice since my last review and I must admit the food was much better than in the past. The service both times was great and the covered pet friendly patio is a huge reason we keep coming back. My only complaint now are the high prices. The dinner entrees are just too expensive for the quantity you receive and then there's an additional cost for the salad. Really...$18 for chicken Marsala and then you have to pay $4 for a salad. Doesn't that seem excessive especially in OC? When I suggest Bugattis to my friends they all complain about this and the sole reason we go elsewhere. read more

Food is over priced and the service is mediocre at best. They don't have open bar seating and they don't take reservations. There is always a long wait for dinner, only because they are the only more "upset-scale" type restaurant in Oregon City but the food isn't even that great. My deluxe blue burger came out very cool to touch even though it was ordered well done. My wife's beef tenders were also barely warm and the potatoes looked more like paste. Not very happy with this choice. After sending back the burger the second attempt was delicious and hot. The wait staff was very accommodating. read more
