Definitely the BEST Chinese food in central ark/ Little Rock area. They always have a fresh bar if not right then in a matter of minutes.. My favorites are Buffet City's Honey chicken, sesame chicken and Teriyaki chicken on a stick!! They have wonderful servers that are nice and do good service. There was a fried fly in my sweet and sour chicken. Literally a fly was in my batter and then fried. Extremely lucky I bit exactly where I did and didn't eat the fly. Extremely disturbing and gross. What other behind the scenes practices happen when an insect gets cooked into food and doesn't get seen. Health department please inspect these people and other patrons do not eat here. I have eaten here several times, but probably won't go back after tonight's experience. Several items on the buffet, in particular meat, didn't seem fresh. Beef and broccoli was inedible. The restaurant also smelled really bad. The booth in which we were seated smelled like urine. Ordered lo mein...was basically a huge pile of shredded cabbage and near raw onions with very few noodles. Reeked of nothing but cabbage and totally inedible. Everyone in my family has been a big fan of Buffet City for several years. We go there often and love all the dishes they serve. The food is always hot and fresh, and the service is excellent. I'm a big fan of their frog legs, General Tsao's chicken, pepper shrimp and baby clams on the half shell. The food is always filling, and the price is right too. And they give us a free meal every so often if we remember to have the stamp our card each time we pay. If you want some all-you-can-eat Chinese in this area, Buffet City is hard to beat. read more
