    Mizo Soup

Sumo Sushi & Steak was amazing! I had the Mizo Ramen soup. It was full of umami flavors and one of the best soups I've had in central Arkansas. My wife had a sushi roll and side of fried rice. There rolls are HUGE and they're filled with thick cuts of fish and other ingredients. Service was really good and the ambiance was very relax and chill. Total bill for the two of us was around $45. We'll be sure to go back and I recommend other people to go as well.

Was in town for business & found myself in need of some lunch. Did a quick search & came across this place. Super fresh ingredients, loaded with delightful umami flavors. Friendly staff & pretty quick service.

Chicken wraps w rice and "fruit"

Ordered take out from here. They are definitely very fast, took maybe 7 minutes to get the order ready. The chicken had little to no flavor and the fruit offering is a slice of orange that is sitting on top of and underneath hot pieces of chicken. The lettuce was wilted from the heat of the chicken so it didn't work well to make a lettuce wrap. The rice is good even without any sauces. I can't say that the California roll tasted any different than one you might find in a gas station. Price was a little high for the quality. Lots of parking and there were literally no customers inside when I arrived so it's not too loud. I suppose this is a decent option for the ride but I can't speak of anything else. Might try their hibachi foods instead.

Monkey Brain with avocado instead of cucumber

I ordered dinner from here on a Sunday. Fried Sushi and General Tso chicken. The fried sushi that I ordered was called Monkey Brain. It was supposed to have crab, cream cheese and cucumber. Instead of cucumber, mine had avocado and I'm allergic to avacado. Also, the General Tso chicken is red. I didn't know what it was at first! It's so spicy that it's almost inedible but the chicken itself was cold. This is my third visit and it's never been the BEST but I was expecting better than this. I've basically wasted $25+ on food I can't eat so I will not be back.

    Hibachi chicken and rice

Tried this for the first time tonight. It was pretty bland, so I added the soy sauce. BIG MISTAKE. It tasted awful after that. Throwing the whole dish out. Two stars because service was friendly and fast. Good was not good at all.

This was supposed to be Pho.
    Brett H.

I realize all of the other reviews were positive so maybe we just ordered the wrong things. I would not recommend the Pho. It wasn't a soup at all and was I stead a gooey noodle condition with overcooked meat that had apparently been grilled. This was about as far from a Pho as you can get. No Pho flavor. The egg rolls were average and similar to what you might get at a Chinese buffet. Someone would have to convince me to order from here again.

Chicken noodle soup. Was awesome and if you don't eat all the noodles feels quite healthy! Huge bowl!

This place always does a good job. Order the sushi. It's great. Trying to eat healthy? The chicken noodle soup is great and huge (maybe just don't eat all the noodles). Definitely an underrated place in Bryant for a Thai or Japanese.

    Orange chicken and "steamed rice".

Don't order through a service to order from these guys. It'll take 3 hours to get your food. Literally.

Last two times I have been food has been not quite as good. Service has also been off a little. Still good, but drops a star.

Food was pretty quick, I waited for about 15-20 mins. Only thing I was turned off by is there is no soda fountain or anything so I was forced to purchase a separate canned coke. I will say something I was appreciative of is that my hibachi came with two free yum yum sauces, most places normally just give you one free sauce or charge you for it period. The hibachi was overall hot and pretty good, I would like to note that there was not as much steak as I would've hoped for but the quality of the steak that was there was pretty good. My plate was loaded to the brim with rice so that was nice also. For the sushi, not the best sushi I've ever had, I ordered one of the classic rolls but you can order the more expensive ones that are deep fried and I can imagine those might be better. But the 911 roll was 7.99 which I think is a fair price, for the hibachi it was 10.99, I spent around a total of 20 dollars. I do recommended this place, I would maybe lean towards the more expensive rolls if you want good sushi but I 100 percent recommended the hibachi and it was well worth the price and very filling. I give this place a modest 7.5 out of 10.

I especially like the convenience of the location because it was right across the street from the hotel we were staying at for the week. Kobe had a great ambiance to it, and definitely had the Japanese steakhouse vibes with the hibachi tables and comfortable setting. Our group sat at two tables and we each had our own hibachi chef. The service was decent overall, but slow at times. Our chef was excellent and prepared our food very well, but would have liked for the chef to be more entertaining, because all the hibachi restaurants I have been to , the hibachi chef is very entertaining and does tricks to keep the guests entertained. I went with the shrimp and chicken combo for the hibachi grill and it was amazing. The hibachi came with salad and Miso soup, which were both excellent and delicious. The fried rice and grilled veggies with the chicken and shrimp made for a great dinner. There was other entertainment with someone playing a drum throughout the restaurant when someone had a birthday. It was fun to watch, but it was also annoying at times because the drum was very loud and hard to have a conversation with people while the drum is banging. All in all, Kobe Japanese steakhouse gave a great dining experience with excellent food and good entertainment at the same time. I would come back here again for dinner if I was in Little Rock AR for business, because it is a great restaurant and the price is reasonable for the hibachi grill. It is worth the money!
