We started with the fried chicken and it was a 10 out of 10, I cannot recommend ordering this enough. If we wouldn't have had ordered so much food, I would've ordered another one. The vegetables were mostly zucchini, carrots on onions. Each person only had one piece of broccoli. So that was disappointing since broccoli is our favorite part of the vegetables. The steak was quality meat but VERY overcooked so it was extremely dry. The gyoza was ok. Nothing special. Just average gyoza. The crab Rangoon was absolutely deplorable. I don't taste any crab in it at all. In fact, it just tasted like they put super sweet cream cheese cake frosting in a wrapper and fried it. Three of us HATED it and spit it out! The only one who ate it was my elderly mother who had a huge sweet tooth but even she said it tasted like dessert! I do NOT recommend this unless you have a massive sweet tooth. Yuck! We hadn't been to hibachi in Arkansas yet, and today felt like the right time to change that…read more Unfortunately, Kobe Little Rock ended up being another mediocre Arkansas dining experience. The service began impressively. We were greeted immediately, seated right away, and our server was at the table within what felt like 50 seconds to take both drink and food orders. Just a couple of minutes later, our salad and soup arrived, followed almost immediately by the hibachi chef. If speed is the priority, they have that part down. The food, however, was a major letdown at best. The fried rice was especially disappointing. With five servings being prepared at the table, there was only two eggs used total! no vegetables, no seasoning, and no flavor. This wasn't fried rice so much as plain rice warmed up on a griddle. The mushrooms were burned, and the vegetables were equally bland. Worse, the smell of burned food lingered for the rest of the meal. For entrées, we ordered the filet and the Sukiyaki steak both medium. The filet arrived rare, while the Sukiyaki was beyond well done. The filet was bland and noticeably underseasoned, but the Sukiyaki did have genuinely good flavor and was easily the best part of the meal. Overall, Kobe Little Rock was mediocre at best. The service started strong, but the lack of flavor throughout most of the meal made it difficult to overlook. And while our drinks were promptly delivered, they were never refilled. Fast service alone cannot make up for bland food, burnt vegetables, and a forgettable hibachi experience.

They are so fast I don't even order until I am there even for carry out. The buffet on Sunday is divine! If you have never seen it, you are in for a nice surprise. It is large, huge variety, and maintained well even off peak business hours. I miss the buffet not being daily, but we all know what Covid did to so many privately owned restaurants. The fact that they survived the pandemic speaks volumes. I eat inside on occasion too, and am never disappointed by the food, service, price or ambiance. I have found them to be comparable to similar restaurants in price. I get 2 orders of chicken lo mein for just under 25.00. This place has been around a very long time and there is a reason for it. I feel appreciated here which is a very rare quality anywhere anymore it seems. If you enjoy Chinese food, you should do yourself a favor and visit.
