Today was better than the last time we ate here a few months ago. There are many options on the buffet, just had to wait around for refills of the food on the buffet a couple of times. It was a super busy night!! I do wish they had a hibachi grill option. It was $26 a person tonight for all you can eat. We still prefer "Asia Buffet" restaurant at 11211 N. Rodney Parham Rd. overall!!

Snow crab, oysters, seaweed salad

I reviewed this location for my visit on Super Bowl Sunday, and it fell short. I gave it three stars at that time. To be fair, I didn't try the hot food bar at that time. The crab was disappointing... I went back on a Monday evening four weeks later, and I was pleasantly surprised. I went ahead with 5 stars due to the price. The sushi was freshly made. The hot bar was delicious. I ate 5 raw oysters, and I'm just fine the next day. I still compare it to the location I'm familiar with in Rogers, but this location is right up there on a Monday night! I'm sure I will be back when I'm in Little Rock again.

So after battling kids at the Museum of Discovery all morning, we decided to try out a place I had heard about having a good sushi buffet... So how good can the food be for 13.95 buffet (lunch)? Well we had a party of 9 and got a seat immediately (5 adults and 4 kids.) 17 plates of food later we had conquered the buffet! All the food was well prepared and tasted great, fresh food was continuously being brought out. Gyoza was plentiful and tasted good, shrimp tempura was amazing, noodles and rice were both good, teriyaki chicken was good. Then I made it to the sushi! 12-15 types of rolls and nigiri were available. I tried at least 2 pieces of every roll and nigiri. I have to say for buffet sushi this sets the bar high and blows every other place out of the water. Our family is ready talking about the next trip!! So that should tell you it's worth a try..

We always come to Tokyo House when in Arkansas. The sushi is really good and for the price, really amazing. There is a lot of variety. There are tons of other seafood, beef, and chicken options. It's like an American Chinese food portion and a Japanese sushi portion of the restaurant. We usually just go for the sushi. Overall, a great price for what it is and staff is super friendly. Their COVID protocol is also pretty good!

This buffet is one of the best I've ever had. Well worth the cost. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Sushi rolls were excellent.

We hadn't been to hibachi in Arkansas yet, and today felt like the right time to change that…read more Unfortunately, Kobe Little Rock ended up being another mediocre Arkansas dining experience. The service began impressively. We were greeted immediately, seated right away, and our server was at the table within what felt like 50 seconds to take both drink and food orders. Just a couple of minutes later, our salad and soup arrived, followed almost immediately by the hibachi chef. If speed is the priority, they have that part down. The food, however, was a major letdown at best. The fried rice was especially disappointing. With five servings being prepared at the table, there was only two eggs used total! no vegetables, no seasoning, and no flavor. This wasn't fried rice so much as plain rice warmed up on a griddle. The mushrooms were burned, and the vegetables were equally bland. Worse, the smell of burned food lingered for the rest of the meal. For entrées, we ordered the filet and the Sukiyaki steak both medium. The filet arrived rare, while the Sukiyaki was beyond well done. The filet was bland and noticeably underseasoned, but the Sukiyaki did have genuinely good flavor and was easily the best part of the meal. Overall, Kobe Little Rock was mediocre at best. The service started strong, but the lack of flavor throughout most of the meal made it difficult to overlook. And while our drinks were promptly delivered, they were never refilled. Fast service alone cannot make up for bland food, burnt vegetables, and a forgettable hibachi experience.

Absolutely not. I genuinely do not understand how this place has a 4+ star rating…read more I came here about two years ago with my parents for lunch and was extremely disappointed. We left saying we would never come back. Later, my parents tried the dinner service and said it was better, so we decided to give it another chance today. Unfortunately, the experience was almost an exact repeat of what I remembered. The fried rice was bland and lacked seasoning. The udon was overwhelmingly salty. The sushi rolls and nigiri were packed with rice to the point that they felt more like rice than sushi. It simply wasn't worth the calories. Even the salad was disappointing, consisting of a small portion of greens drowning in dressing. We honestly didn't order that much, yet we still couldn't finish everything because of the excessive amount of rice in nearly every roll and nigiri. Given the quality and portion balance, the meal was nowhere near worth what we paid. To top it all off, the waitress informed us that we would be charged for leaving rice on our plates. That was the final straw. If the food had been enjoyable, that might be one thing, but charging customers for uneaten rice after serving dishes overloaded with it is absurd. Needless to say, this second visit confirmed our original impression. We won't be returning.

I was blown away coming here for my first ever all you can eat sushi experience. It costs about $30…read morea person before the drink, so it's a little expensive. But I think the value is there if you bring an appetite! The staff were friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed and encouraged to try things and ask about foods. The food was amazing! I'd recommend the hibachi shrimp and steak. It was so good! The sushi also was very good. I liked some options more than others but it was super fun to try all the new stuff. I'd recommend going with a group. That way you can try more things without having to commit to entire servings if you aren't sure you like something. I'd give this place a solid 9/10 Not much they could improve on, but maybe a system where you can try a sampler of all the rolls your first time. I would've liked to try more rolls without having to make the chefs prepare entire rolls every time for me try them. I will certainly come back!
