Friendly staff, open tables, fast service, refreshing drinks really nice atmosphere, stopped here for the Little Rock comic con 2025, Definitely recommend stopping in at this location if you enjoy sushi rolls or asian food. Excellent service and the food is really tasty. We devoured the volcano roll, avocado roll, Godzilla roll and some wontons. Sorry we did eat some before we remembered to take photos of our food.

Wasabi is a nice restaurant with a warm atmosphere. It provides a modern feel that gives it more of an upscale vibe, but without the high prices. The waitress was friendly and recommended the Arkansas River roll. Both sushi rolls were really good. They tasted fresh and had nice consistency. The sake was also excellent; light and refreshing. There weren't many people which was surprising, but it got busier around 8pm. That was nice because you can have a conversation without being drowned out by others.

Visiting for work and this is a fast moving, cute spot. They have good seating with a bar and some tables and they have the capacity to fit parties. I enjoyed the salad with ginger dressing f and the misp soup. I tried the tempura battered calamari and veggies and it was chewy and very overcooked. I tried the deep fried monkey brain roll and it was fried too hard. The breading cut the roof of my mouth so I asked for the tempura shrimp roll. Much better but still wasn't really my taste. Good prices and great service!

The sushi was delicious. I ordered the monkey brain. The pickled ginger was a great touch. My coworker order the tenderloin roll. It look amazing.

Ordered pick up and food was so good, it was very fresh and on the phone the employee was very kind and professional. 10/10 I 100% recommend.

Visited from California. The establishment wasn't very busy at the time we went. Staff was attentive and the food was delicious. This was a close walk from the convention center and our hotel. We were pleased with our visit!

Location; I was staying at a Hotel across the street from Wasabi Sushi - so my co-workers and I decided to walk over and have some sushi. It's right on main street - downtown. The inside is a bit old feel, but the building were built years ago. Food; Today I tried to the Edamame which you can't go wrong with that typically - it was crisp and fresh. My sushi roll of choice today was "Monkey Brain" roll - friend with crab meat, cream cheese, avocado, spicy mayo and eel sauce. It was so delicious and cooked to perfect. Service; Service was a bit slow - took a bit to get our first round of beverages but food came out swiftly.

This place is ok. We made it there right before closing and ordered the #1 and #2 sushi. Miso soup is my fav, but here is was too salty and lukewarm.. However, my ginger salads was good!

Food was good. Staff was friendly. The McCain roll is my favorite. The edamame was a little too salty. The lunch hibachi chicken was a large portion. Plenty of room. Street parking. There are parking garages nearby.

Take two trying this place and ordered takeout this time. I ordered both the teriyaki chicken hibachi meal and a baked sushi roll cause I could not decide and wanted both. Glad I did cause both were soo good! The baked sushi roll was amazing!

The team at Wasabi is amazing at what they do! The staff is friendly and so very welcoming. Its hard to pick a favorite item because everything I have tried from the menu is so fresh and deliciously prepared! Their Hibachi is seasoned perfectly and cooked to excellency. The Nigiri & Sashimi is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully cut! I love getting Wasabi delivered with Bite Squad since its so fast and convenient! Wasabi is miles above the rest!

A decent little sushi/hibachi place across from the convention center. Decor/atmosphere is ok. Service was very good. Food (sushi sampler, salad with ginger dressing and onion soup) was also very good and decently priced.

    Larry Z.

The smaller rolls were priced Fair $5-6 but they were thin and not very filling. The specialty salmon lover roll was overpriced and still thin and not very filling. The delivery charge was only $0.49 but they tacked on a nice $4.50 service fee plus tax. Although the portions were small the food was tasty but I would not return.

We started with spicy edamame and calamari, I'd highly recommend both! For sushi, I got the crazy monkey roll (a fan favorite, they light it on fire at your table!) and a spicy tuna roll. We shared a cucumber avocado roll, and the others got dragon rolls, crispy shrimp, and shrimp tempura. We were happy with all of our orders and left stuffed! Would recommend to all sushi lovers.

We sat at the bar (different from the sushi bar, which is also an option) and had a very attentive and knowledgeable bartender. I tried the local filtered sake (who knew that Arkansas produces a large percentage of the country's rice?) and it was very nice. We each got a ramen bowl and a sushi roll. I got the wild salmon roll as I generally prefer simple rolls. The roll was very heavy on the rice, less so on the actual salmon. It was still nicely prepared and tasted good, but maybe not worth the price when you consider how little salmon you're getting out of it. I also got the Tonkotsu Ramen Bowl and added duck to it. The bowl was tasty, but slightly mild/bland -- to be fair, I asked them not to include the jalapeno because I'm terrible at handling any amount of spice. It was a generous serving and I happily took half of it home for lunch the next day. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here and I didn't think the prices were outrageous. It's a nice atmosphere that can lend itself to cozy casual or intimate, and I wouldn't mind coming back here even if it doesn't top my list. Definitely worth a visit to decide for yourself.

He visited Kiyen's a year ago and reported a positive experience. I grew up in Hawaii eating Japanese cuisine prepared by Japanese family members and have traveled to Japan, too. I was excited to visit Kiyen's! Positive: owner was energetic and lovely! She took our orders and served our meals and was the best part of this place = 10/5 stars! I ordered two items for dinner: shrimp tempura and sushi with salmon. Not-so-positive: ordered udon and was told they ran out. Then ordered chicken katsu and was told they ran out of that, too, so ordered tempura and sushi after waiting 25 min. Should have stuck with gut feeling and ordered something other than sushi. While food presentation was appealing, flavor was lackluster and disappointing. Five out of 8 members in our party ordered sushi: rice wasn't seasoned or compacted well when preparing, each bite portion fell apart when picking up with chopsticks. Couldn't pick up and turn each piece to lightly dip salmon part (not rice) into soy sauce. Wasabi was tinted a fake green color, tasted weird and unauthentic but had a sharp bite. Soy sauce was watery and neither wasabi nor soy enhanced sushi flavor, which was needed because salmon was flavorless and fillings did not help = 2/5. Tempura arrived pale, limp and soggy, flavor lacking = 3/5. Overall: ambience and menu options were fine but food preparer appeared to lack experience in sushi making and was unable to keep up with orders. We waited for meals longer than expected, and when they did arrive, we ate in silence rather than boasting about what we each had ordered.

My birthday is in March and I received my annual $30 Birthday Gift Certificate (BOGO). I met a couple of friends there and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We went this Wednesday (3-27-19) and did not call in for a reservation. We should have. For some reason, everyone in town was there when we arrived. My fault. I did not think a Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. would be that busy. We were put on the waiting list and were seated in 20 minutes. We were seated next to a group of 5 folks that also had a March birthday patron. Both of our groups interacted and enjoyed our conversations. This visit, it took about 25 minutes before the chef started cooking our meal because he just began cooking at the adjoining table. Once he finished on that table, he rolled his cart out and cooked one heck of a meal. I just would like to give a shout out to all the folks at this location and say if you are in the Little Rock,AR area, you should definitely make your way to Benihana's.

Only thing we got was a heart rice. Nothing else. Food is always good and on this night, we were told we might not get rice as they were running out. I returned today by myself for lunch. Called to make a reservation and asked if I could use my friends with benefits $25 reward. She told me yes. I drove 35 miles only to be told once I was seated that they aren't a corporate store only a franchise and wouldn't take it so I got up and left. No lunch. She then said they do take your birthday reward so they pick and choose what they want to accept. As many times as I've been there, I won't ever go back. There are a few hibachi restaurants in this area do I'll start using them. What's the point of Benihana giving me rewards when I can't ever use them!
