Service adequate. Food ok. Brisket way overcooked and dry. Same for.chicken. ribs wete also dry. Seemed like all the meat had set and dried out.. cole slaw and potato sal as d were good. We've been going to Rib Crib in Benton for a little over a year now and have found it to be consistently very good! SELECTION: Wide variety of barbecued meats, including chicken and even turkey! Lots of good side dishes available. Rib Crib usually has their full menu on hand, where other local barbecues tend to run out of the more popular items. I'm a fan of Rib Crib's hot link sausage. Well , I'm going to start with we will never go back. We wished it tastes as good as it smelled. But it did not. The food was ok but paying $50 for ok isn't fun. Me and my wife had been really wanting good BBQ this was not it !! I had the pig man sandwich the sausage was good the brisket was ok. But the bun was hard as a rock so I had to take the meet off and just eat it separately. This was not what I expecting . And my wife's build your own was about the same. The smoked chicken was not, it looked and tasted like they went to Walmart and bought a rotisserie chicken and sliced it up. The potato salad was ok but you could tell it had been sitting out. And the service was awful our server was nonexistent most of the time. The hostess had to go find her every time someone needed refills. Now I see what the place was dead on a Saturday Night. And this should have been a red flag And to top it all off we were seated at a dirty table. Simply no excuse for this especially on a dead night. I don't know how they stay in business. I would rather eat the frozen Lloyds BBQ from Walmart than this train wreck of a wanna be BBQ restaurant !!!! read more

We ate at the Benton RibCrib yesterday. First time visit and we will definitely be back! Brian was our server and he is awesome!! We really appreciated his fantastic service. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. We ordered spicy fried pickles & the chips and queso for our appetizers. Large servings that were hot and delicious. The seasoning on the chips is really good! Our table ordered The Motherlode, The Dirty Deed, Three's Company, and the Roughneck Cheeseburger. I like the meat options. Don't particularly care for the sides but the Ribs and Sausages are top notch!

Has gone downhill in the last few years. Ribs greasy and grisly with higher prices and smaller portions, bar b que sauce not as tasty as it used to be and the sides taste terrible. I am from Leesville, La here visiting my nephew and decided to treat him to a Sunday evening bbq dinner! What a mess! I regret not getting us a bologna sandwich and calling it a day! Nothing was right.. cole slaw tasted like onion salad, all meats were cold and tough(he only lives 1.6 miles from the restaurant) potato salad was not anything like any potato salad I ever ate .. was passable but not as potato salad., corn on the cob was unrecognizable as corn.. like albino with no taste, brisket was thick sliced, cold, way too tough and lacking any taste. Sausage was definitely low-grade and delivered cold, ribs were dry and not as ordered. And to top it all off I ordered 2 peach cobblers 1 with ice cream (left special instructions to keep the ice cream in separate container) the other without ice cream. Received 2 ice cold orders of peach slices with thick hard pieces of apparently uncooked dough with ice cream in the same order.. all totally unacceptable for any price.. but I actually paid almost 60.00 for this fiasco. Plz spend your money at a much more deserving place of business such as Eat My Catfish where the food is amazing and the service is impeccable! read more

Rib Crib... your typical chain feel BBQ joint. I would recommend the babyback ribs, but get them wet. The dry rub is good, and the smokey flavor is prevalent and satisfying, but the table BBQ sauces just don't deliver the same affect as a good shaking in the sauce from the kitchen. Steer clear of the fried okra... it was WAY over-breaded, and the breading was bland in addition to being very filling. I am sure they were frozen at one point in their life. We wanted to try BBQ from Arkansas since we have been living in Texas and on the road. This place happened to be close so we stopped in. I had the brisket which was dry. The ribs were ok. The last 2 times I ate in the Benton Rib Crib the pulled beef was not good. I can tell you are cutting corners. The Hickory you used to cook with taste like greasy propane. Why do places like yours start off good then go to the dogs. I know what i am talking about and I am certain that YOU DO TOO ! You cant start off great then change everything untill its crap ! Brought out-of-town guests here who asked for BBQ for dinner. I assured them that they wouldn't be disappointed with Rib Crib. We were seated promptly and our drink order taken fairly quickly. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes, our server came to our table and informed us that she had lost our ticket and asked us to repeat our order. This alone would not have been a problem because mistakes like that can very well happen. The problem was, our server only came back one time to check on our drinks. When the food family came out, 45 minutes after we were sat, everything seem to be in order except for the fact that my friend's wife ordered the smokin nachos that came out looking like they had sat under the warmer for the past 30 minutes. The cheese has welded all of the nachos together making it so that she could only eat a fraction of her plate. We had no visit from the manager and no apology from the server. It was quite embarrassing after building it up so highly to my guests. Too many other good options to go back and risk a repeat performance. read more
