Well I have been here twice now, and holy Molly this place is amazing! Firstly the staff is so accommodating. Our waitress was Kaylee, she was great. I asked her to pick everything I got. She picked the finest whiskey and of course the finest house made beer as well as the food I ordered. I swear this place is nothing short of a gem. The atmosphere is spot on and boy oh boy the food is stick to your ribs amazing! This is the best food I've had since leaving California and I gotta say it may dominate any food I've had there. I'm sprung on this place. It's so bomb. Service amazing setting outstanding food out of this world great! Whoever owns this place is a rockstar! We went today for the first time and Rita was our waitress. She was extremely friendly and courteous. My husband said his hamburger and fries weren't made with frozen products and that they were very good. I had the chicken sandwich and homemade onion rings which both were great. We both asked how we didn't know about this restaurant before today. The restaurant was clean. It was busy, but we didn't have a long wait for our food. Can't beat their $9.99 lunch special, which includes Chicken sandwich or hamburger with fries and a drink. We will definitely be going again. read more

My new favorite restaurant in the Bryant/Benton area. The food was really good; flavorful. We had fried pickles, onion rings, sweet potato fries w/ caramel sauce and regular hand cut fries for our appetizers and sides. The patty melt was delish and hamburger was great. Nice portions. Been here several times. Each time the service has been fast and efficient. Refills are quick and check service has been fast. BBQ burger was cooked perfectly and is enough for two meals! Only complaint is they need to blanch their fries longer and Cooke them till crispy. The wings were fantastic. Big, tender, cooked just right. Plenty left to take home for a snack later. Plenty of a TVs to watch sporting events and there's also pool tables! Fun, upbeat atmosphere. read more

We showed up and waited FOR 2 hours. For 3 orders of wings and one single burger patty. Easy right? NO. After 2 hours of waiting nothing arrived. So we we paid for our appetizers and left. If this place is any kind of busy DO.NOT.GO. We watched multiple people just leave after waiting an hour for a drink. Save yourself the time and just go across the street and eat Different Dough. I wouldn't know where to start explaining what they need to improve. As an executive chef, trained at The Culinary Institute of America in NYC, I can tell you cleanliness is not one of their virtues. Very sticky table, your bathroom is deplorable. This was our second visit to the local tavern, we thought we'd give it one more try, but... things were not any better than our first visit. Terrible burgers, air fried fries, air fried pickle planks, which were hard as jerky. And as for the price??? It comes with a drum roll. 2 people, one domestic beer each, one plate of hard airfried pickle planks, two slider baskets... $64 before tip for mediocre food and bad service. I was wondering why there was only one other table seated besides us at 7:30 on a Wednesday... Our server took our drink order, and we ordered the pickle planks appetizer which took an extraordinarily long time to arrive, and again they were terrible. Then it just seemed like our server was beamed up as she had totally disappeared. We had finished our beers and the air fried pickles, just sitting there waiting, with only one other table in the room and three people walking through the door with no one to greet them. Our server finally surfaced, smelling like she just smoked a carton of Luckys. She took our order after seating the people that had just walked in. We got our food Finally, the best thing I can say about it is it was warm. I was underwhelmed. Even though our server was absent through most of the experience, I still tipped 18% and she was lucky to get that. So, now you know. We won't be back. It was bad under the previous management and now it's going further downhill under the current management. My wife and I are new empty nesters, and we were looking for new happy hour spots to try. My wife found The Local Tavern online. We were greeted with smiles and friendly service. The food was excellent and the drinks were nice and stiff and for a great price! The co-owner came and spoke with us a couple of times, as he helped the staff, as they started getting busy quickly. I told him that we would be back and that I would give a good review! Have to try more stuff on the menu. I had the tavern burger, which was cooked medium, but very well seasoned. My wife had the catfish that was also well seasoned, and we had fried pickle La for appetizers. The portions were big enough to have leftovers. Can't wait for my next visit. read more

My Husband and I went here for lunch and was greeted nicely by a man who was very friendly and welcoming. We both ordered the hamburger combo. He added onion rings and I got fries. We both agreed that the burger was very good. He LOVES onion rings and orders them every chance he gets, but he said the onion rings here were "horrible" and that they tasted like they had been cooked in the same grease as fish. He was served only 6 onion rings (large & small) and he only ate 1/2 of one. The fries were good. My only real complaint is that they serve the burgers & side on the tiniest of a tin plate. I had to remove my fries onto the tray to be able to eat my burger and put it back down onto the plate. Their wine selection is limited to one cheap brand, but I was glad to have a glass with my lunch. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant with easy parking. read more

This off the beaten path burger joint is worth the stop! The burgers were hand patty, fresh burger that was seasoned wd to perfection. The French fries were hand cut and didn't get soggy after 2 minutes! Amazing fries. And the icing on the cake, our server Rita was super friendly, efficient and extremely personable. I am very disappointed on how I was treated on the phone I had with staff members at this establishment on June 18, 2025. I was attempting to check out this restaurant since I've heard decent things about this place and wanted to try it out. I inquired over the telephone with a staff member named Brittany on whether the wings special that was offered on Wednesdays can be ordered to go or dine in. Brittany said that it can be placed to go but later hung up the telephone when I've asked if the bone in wings can be served without the sauce due to health reasons. I've called back and spoke to another staff member who said they are busy and for me to look at the menu for more details on how the wings can be cooked. While the latter staff member have a better personality than Brittany who was very rude, I was disappointed in the fact that I was told that they was too busy to assist a prospective customer who will help support a local establishment in the area. This is not a way a customer should be treated. I've been to so many restaurants across the world and never had staff members hanged up the telephone on a customer or basically said they too busy to assist a customer who is willing to spend money on a business who needs every support from locals during these tough economic times. I would not recommend this business to anyone who is looking for good customer service. read more

Food and atmosphere was amazing. So was my service with Haylee I believe her name was. On the other hand, there was a staff member named Rita (older lady) that wasn't pleasant. I noticed her take over one of Haylee's 3 tables and serve people and tell Haylee to clean it up herself. If you take over one of 3 tables someone has, you should at least clean the table yourself. Went and played pool and it was a nice room back there but noticed, I had to pay $1 per game of pool while some "regulars" had the keys to the pool table handed to them by said Rita. Seems like Rita has been around long enough to know right from wrong and still treat people poorly. read more

My husband, teenage son, and I ate here today. I ordered the slider trio. My son ordered a chicken sandwich. My husband ordered the tavern burger with bacon. Our waitress (I can't remember her name unfortunately)was very friendly and helpful. I ordered my sliders without buns, and they happily obliged. Our burgers came out very fast and were all really good. I also ordered a side salad with ranch dressing which was very fresh. There was a mix up when it came to my son's chicken sandwich (they brought a burger instead), but when we told them, they went immediately to work at making it right. They offered to let us keep the other burger since it would just be thrown away. The manager/owners (not sure which) came to apologize and check on us MULTIPLE times. When the chicken sandwich came out, my son said it was, "phenomenal" and worth the wait. Overall, mistakes happen, but the quality of the food and the way it was handled was amazing.
