    Terrible Catfish Po Boy

I think they are losing sight of the details. There needs to be a good deep cleaning. The floors are sticky, the menus are dirty and please feel free to clean the salt and pepper shakers. The best you can hope for is you walk in and receive food. The food won't 'wow' you and the service won't impress. They feel they are doing their job by bringing you food. Did the manager forget they are in the service industry? Poorly trained staff who show up to work to hang out and BS with their friends instead of work. They will not cook a burger medium rare. They flat out refuse. Blackened catfish was disgustingly mushy and undercooked. The bartender didn't even notice that I had over half my plate of food left when we were done. He reached over our plates that were pushed to the edge of the bar with napkins piled on top. I gave 2 stars because the beer is super cold and the bartender was nice. Not attentive but nice. He was too busy having social hour with the rest of the employees.

The food and service (Grace was awesome!) were amazing! We are originally from Louisiana and have been in search of a place that serves good Cajun in the Hot Springs/West Little Rock area and this is it!

Crawfish etoufee & side of onion rings

Service was good, food was good, and patio option was great cuz we had our 2 dogs with us. I ordered crawfish etoufee & onion rings; hubby got the jambalaya. To drink, I had the huckleberry strawberry lemonade & boo had the bourbon swizzle. Mine was good, he said there was too much mint in his, otherwise it was good. I was bummed the online pic of the onion rings made them look small, like onion strings I enjoy, but in reality they were the normal, large onion rings. Other than that, good experience :)

When traveling through Bryant, take the break and grab a bite here! You won't be sorry. Happy Hour specials daily! Try the strawberry basil mule; do it! Mule. Balls. Deep fried boudin...sooo good. We also sampled the Creole Trio and how are basic bayou bites so delicious in central Arkansas?! Service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for a casual dinner.

There is nothing I can say other than, "Why did it take me so long to try The Copper Mule?!" Everything was perfect. The hamburgers were cooked exactly to our liking. The onion rings were quite possibly the best I've ever had. My wife said her club sandwich was amazing. The Mule Balls were a step out of my culinary comfort zone, but they were excellent. The service was very good and the atmosphere was fun and enjoyable. This will be a regular stop on date night for my wife and me!

    Shrimp Po Boy

Pretty good Cajun food for a restaurant north of Monroe and Shreveport, LA. Our table of three enjoyed staples like red beans and rice, fried shrimp Po Boy, and a nice seafood pasta dish. There was no wait for a table at lunch on a Monday. The wait time for our meal was minimal. Cool local Arkansas decor on the walls. I will be back when I'm hungry for some Cajun grub!

Best night at the copper mule! Mini beer shots for the win! Bartenders are the best! The gumbo is a must.

Crawfish Po'boy was pretty good! Not New Orleans' quality, but probably one of the best for central Arkansas!

Got there a little early and our table was ready. Since it was a fixed menu, we only had a few options to choose from. First course I chose duck and pancetta, meatball, and my wife chose the Ahi Crudo. Ahi Crudo - flavors were good, just wish they would have gone with a sashimi cut over the thicker cut of tuna. It had a little chew to it. Duck and Pancetta meatball- probably the best seasoned bite of the evening, almost to the point of being too salty. The meatball was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. Second course I chose the lobster bisque, and my wife chose the strawberry and beet salad. Lobster bisque - lobster meat was very tender, and you could taste the good salty water that they boiled it in. The base of the bisque was lacking a depth of flavor. I expected it to be more pronounced lobster flavor in the biscuit itself. It was good. It was just a different flavor than I was expecting. Strawberry / Beet salad - the salad was very good. I liked the cheese that they put on the salad. Luckily I was able to steal a few bites from my wife. Main course I ordered the New York strip, and my wife ordered the lobster risotto. New York Strip - when the steak hit the table, I was very excited. As you can see from the photos, it was cooked perfectly. From the first bite, I could tell the steak was tender, but there was zero flavor. I don't know if the steak was not seasoned at all, or if they were just playing on the drizzle over the top of the mushrooms in the steak to add flavor. But the overall plate was bland and flavor. I had to add table salt, which I almost never do. Lobster risotto- lobster risotto looked amazing. My first bite of risotto that I was able to steal was pretty bland. I tried another bite before my wife finished the entire plate! The second bite was much better had a lot of of the pepper flavor in the risotto. My wife said the lobster was tender and delicious. Dessert! I chose the Tres Leches and my wife chose the chocolate pot de creme. Tres Leches - this cake was probably the overall favorite thing of the evening. You could taste the vanilla and the cream. It was a match made in heaven. The frozen strawberries on top provided a good texture contrast. Chocolate pot de creme- this was an amazing dessert also. The depth of flavor in the chocolate cream was truly remarkable. You could taste the different chocolate. Rich and decadent for the last bite. We chose to add the wine pairing on with the mail. All the ones were pretty good. Nothing earth shattering, but all paired well with the meal. Service felt a little rushed, and I understand that valentines is a big day for the restaurant. We would not be halfway through a glass of wine when the next glass of wine for the next course would show up. It almost felt like our server was trying to push the pace of our dining experience. This review will ultimately get updated. Because I never judge a restaurant based on one experience. So we look forward to our next date night, where we can stop by and try the standard menu.

The Pantry Crest - The truffle deviled eggs were beautiful and tasty with a delightfully smooth texture.

We started with mezcal cocktails and took our time enjoying the evening. The service was attentive without being rushed, which made it easy to relax, eat slowly, and actually enjoy the conversation at the table. We shared several dishes: deviled eggs, veal meatballs, bacon-wrapped dates, and the cheese spaetzle. Everything was flavorful, but the veal meatballs really stood out. They came in a rich tomato sauce that was so good we ordered extra baguettes just to soak up every last bit. No regrets. The bacon-wrapped dates were a great balance of sweet and savory, and the spaetzle was rich and comforting. By the end of the meal we were completely full, but honestly still wishing we had room for more. The small plates add up, but the quality made it feel worth it. Great service, great cocktails, and really satisfying food. Definitely a place I'd come back to.
