Amazing! German food is underrated, but The Pantry Crest makes it worth celebrating. Our server was great, made good suggestions, and was very personable. We started with bacon wrapped dates, then I had the bratwurst plate with potatoes and sauerkraut and my husband had the breaded jaegerschitzel. We added a serving of brussels sprouts, too. Everything was delicious! Perfect bite was a piece of bratwurst with some sauerkraut dipped in a bit of mustard. Another highlight was the cocktails! Definitely worth a visit, and we plan to go back the next time we're in town.

I loved most everything about this place except for my order (roasted pork shoulder). The meat was very dry, and the potato dumplings were too doughy. My favorite part was the braised red cabbage - it was sweet. The other person got fish and frites, which was good. The service was a bit slow, and it was hard to get the server's attention at times. The interior was nice, the people seemed diverse. I wasn't sure what to expect for my first time in Little Rock, but I was pleasantly surprised. It seems like a place where I would enjoy living.

Cheese cake. Great taste and texture.

Traveling from New Mexico to home found this restaurant. Super service from the time we were seated until we left. Wide selection of wines and drinks and this carries over to the entries. Noise level is on the higher side and one may have to search for a place to park.

Food was fabulous! Deviled eggs and pear salad is a must! Cocktails very good as well! Entrees were yummy. Dessert was nothing like I've ever had before... chocolate salami! I'll probably dream about it since we aren't from here. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the waiter we had. Food came out fast but he just would not come back to our table and could not remember what we ordered.. would come back and ask us again (twice). Loved the experience just wish we had a better waiter I know he was trying just not his thing. But bravo to the food!!

Lasagna

Nothing on the menu is bad... BUT GET THE LASAGNA!! Great food, service and atmosphere!

Nice local Hungarian restaurant- they have 2 locations in town COVID-19 protected - tables are 6F Food was good Chicken liver pate was very good The street fair sausage was delicious I took it with the spicy mustard For main I took the house made Bratwurst - they said that it's home made, was very good For desert I took the apple strudel - it was just OK I think they put to much cinnamon in that cake The overall- good restaurant with very good service

View from the men's toilet! Fantastic that the wall decor matches my Christmas Sweater!

The Pantry Crest is my favorite restaurant in Little Rock by far! It is in an updated, understated, and very comfortable atmosphere that really makes for a great night of celebrating with friends or dining with family. Check out the outdoor patio on nice evenings for a fantastic ambiance. The lasagne is my "go to", but don't stop there. The fish and chips is also fabulous. There is a wonderful wine list and a good craft beer selection - all reasonably priced. To finish, the melt in your mouth, flavorful, decadent cheesecake will complete the experience. Check it out and see for yourself. They will exceed your expectations!

I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Everything was delicious, came out in a timely manner, and really made our evening here. I loved my drink Bartali's Secret. It was perfectly balanced with all the right ingredients. The highlight of the meal for me was the bacon covered dates with goat cheese. Our server, Aiesha, was right one point with suggesting to add the goat cheese to it. For $1.50 upcharge, it was fully worth the add. My lamb chop found itself more on my birth mother's plate than my own! I loved it so much, but she kept taking bites - I had to tell her no! lol She enjoyed her goulash, but she couldn't finish it because she ate half of my meal. I am not complaining, but I wish I could have had the chance to enjoy more than what I did! The Simply Leah was great. It was very filling. I think this was a great salad choice, though I will admit, the other salads looked wonderful, too. The ending was our Chocolate Salami. It was not literally chocolate in salami, but I think they concept of it was delish. It was chocolate with a type of cream. We completed killed it. The entire experience here exceeds 5 stars. Everyone was so nice, price was right on point, and I feel this is somewhere you could come and enjoy more than just on a special occasion if you are trying to take budget conscience. If I could find one downside, parking is basically non-existent, but it isn't far away. Park on the street and you should be good to go. The restaurant is located inside an old house from the turn of the 20th century. Check it out and see what I mean!

The truffle deviled eggs were beautiful and tasty with a delightfully smooth texture.

Very nice place. Cold cider, tasty brats and kraut, reminded me of my grandmother's. I'd definitely return.

On our reservation, my husband noted…read morethat our wedding cake was a Rum cake and we rarely get it, but if they could make one it would be appreciated. (We ask every year) Not expecting them to honor it because it's a BIG ASK in food service - they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We were given champagne and they made a rum cake for us! We were crying with gratitude, the hostesses and wait staff were crying, and it will be an anniversary to remember. The ambiance and decor was edgy and modern. You could actually have a conversation while it not being too quiet or too loud. Oh and the food was fantastic! We ordered crispy rice cabbage salad () a patty melt, Khao Soi, and two cocktails. Unbelievable quality. Even better service! Our waitress, Parker, was knowledgable about everything on the menu, suggested the fries (don't skip those), and very attentive. We will be back.

Rating a 3.5 for now…read more Cool spot for a quick date night or one or two girlfriends night out for drinks. Atmosphere/Service: Okay art and cool atmosphere. No loud music so you can talk to and hear your guest. Some of the seating is family style and some individual which is cool. Drinks are amazing and staff is attentive so which made it great service! Food: Menu concept has a variety of food items. It has more Asian flare but also has a few items from other food cultures. Not quite a home run with all. The Appetizers we selected were good. I like the spin on the desconstructed crab Rangoon. It was really tasty and adding the cheese on top gave it a unique taste. The chicken wings were perfectly fried but sauce is required to develop taste. Which is fine if they were going for Korean Type fried wings. Dipping sauces were okay, chile lime is refreshing but not made for fried wings. Gochujang sauce was good and sweet chili heat were fine-Flavors were just as good as a store bought bottle. I was excited to try the crab fried rice but I found it to be dry and the flavor bland. It needed more vibrant veggies. The veggies were cut tiny so the flavors didn't come through like the roasted corn inside or the scallions. I couldn't taste they were in the rice. The "blue crab" was almost invisible. However if you use the sweet chili sauce on the rice it gives it a punch! Portion sizes were large-some too large. And usually that's a sign the food is probably not that great. Chicken Kimchi Stacker-The kimchi on the chicken sandwich was great but couldn't completely deliver enough flavor for the double fried bland chicken. It needed a special sauce to give it a kick. As for the entrees, we wrapped them up for take home. I added more scallions and rice vinegar and a touch of lite soy sauce to the fried rice. And I would probably go back to try other items. I would definitely return for the bar, and great Rangoon dip! Overall, No explosion or burst of flavors but it is well prepared and well presented food with a great staff.

Got there a little early and our table was ready. Since it was a fixed menu, we only had a few options to choose from. First course I chose duck and pancetta, meatball, and my wife chose the Ahi Crudo. Ahi Crudo - flavors were good, just wish they would have gone with a sashimi cut over the thicker cut of tuna. It had a little chew to it. Duck and Pancetta meatball- probably the best seasoned bite of the evening, almost to the point of being too salty. The meatball was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. Second course I chose the lobster bisque, and my wife chose the strawberry and beet salad. Lobster bisque - lobster meat was very tender, and you could taste the good salty water that they boiled it in. The base of the bisque was lacking a depth of flavor. I expected it to be more pronounced lobster flavor in the biscuit itself. It was good. It was just a different flavor than I was expecting. Strawberry / Beet salad - the salad was very good. I liked the cheese that they put on the salad. Luckily I was able to steal a few bites from my wife. Main course I ordered the New York strip, and my wife ordered the lobster risotto. New York Strip - when the steak hit the table, I was very excited. As you can see from the photos, it was cooked perfectly. From the first bite, I could tell the steak was tender, but there was zero flavor. I don't know if the steak was not seasoned at all, or if they were just playing on the drizzle over the top of the mushrooms in the steak to add flavor. But the overall plate was bland and flavor. I had to add table salt, which I almost never do. Lobster risotto- lobster risotto looked amazing. My first bite of risotto that I was able to steal was pretty bland. I tried another bite before my wife finished the entire plate! The second bite was much better had a lot of of the pepper flavor in the risotto. My wife said the lobster was tender and delicious. Dessert! I chose the Tres Leches and my wife chose the chocolate pot de creme. Tres Leches - this cake was probably the overall favorite thing of the evening. You could taste the vanilla and the cream. It was a match made in heaven. The frozen strawberries on top provided a good texture contrast. Chocolate pot de creme- this was an amazing dessert also. The depth of flavor in the chocolate cream was truly remarkable. You could taste the different chocolate. Rich and decadent for the last bite. We chose to add the wine pairing on with the mail. All the ones were pretty good. Nothing earth shattering, but all paired well with the meal. Service felt a little rushed, and I understand that valentines is a big day for the restaurant. We would not be halfway through a glass of wine when the next glass of wine for the next course would show up. It almost felt like our server was trying to push the pace of our dining experience. This review will ultimately get updated. Because I never judge a restaurant based on one experience. So we look forward to our next date night, where we can stop by and try the standard menu.
