Wife and I had lunch there yesterday. Good, friendly staff. I had the chicken and catfish with hush puppies and Cajun rice. Wife had the Cajun shrimp, catfish, Cajun rice and hush puppies. Food was good. In particular, I thought the chicken was and cooked to perfection. Catfish is supposed to be farm raised but I'm not sure about that. Wife and I wanted Dr Pepper drinks but the soda machine was empty. We shifted to sweet tea but there was none - just unsweetened tea. This review is for their crawfish. From Louisiana and was looking for some crawfish in the area. The crawfish were ok. First when crawfish are boiled they should be boiled with the seasoning. Here the seasoning was placed on top of the crawfish after boiling, this resulted in a extremely salty crawfish. The size was average medium with some small. Whenever we head to The Rock, eating here is a must. Although this time, a catering order caused a delay in service, the wait was absolutely worth it. Eat My Catfish was our second choice and I initially had reservations but I will be a return customer. I ordered the Chicken/Catfish/Shrimp combo and everything was cooked perfectly. The hush puppies were some of the best that I have ever had. They were light and fresh. The fish was perfect and shrimp were great.
