We stopped here on a whim without looking at reviews and i would never eat here again! The restrooms were so gross (neither toilet in the women's restroom would flush), the food was awful, and it just felt dirty and a whole. Half our green beans were cooked and half were raw, my chicken seemed undercooked, and the steak my dad got was just OK. The only thing that tasted decent was my mom's okra. I went to this restaurant today. Ask for a simple meal. Water no lemon. Salad no onions no dressing. Cheese sticks 10 mins after my salad. Waitress Jada brought salad and rolls. Didn't set salad in front of me. Just kinda slammed them both on table. No water. She walked away. A flagged another lady down for my water. Jada didn't once come check on me. I ate salad. And waited. A lady stuck her head out the kitchen and said my food would be out soon. Told her that it should ha e been out 10-15 mins ago. Then Jada shows up with it. Told her to bring me a to go box. She brought it and slid it on the table and walked away. Never saw her again. Another lady brought me a go box for salad and cup for sauce. Ask her to bring me my check which she did. Very nice lady. Paid my check and started walking out. Stopped at front desk and talked to a bartender named Joshua. Told him the problem. Well..service from waitstaff was attentive. Ambience was fine and restaurant was clean enough. Hot bread and butter were very good. Unfortunately that's what we've got good to say of our experience. My wife and I have been to Coltons numerous times and typically have a nice relaxing time with good service. Today at roughly 1:00 PM we arrived sat in the lounge like we usually do. We sat for what I consider too long without any service, the gentleman sitting a few seats down informed us he had been waiting 20 minutes for a salad. When we finally did get service the young lady behind the bar asked if we would like something to drink, when I mentioned the fellow sitting a few seats down said he had to wait 20 minutes for a salad, the employee behind bar looked at me as if she couldn't care less. I looked at me wife, asked her if she would like to go somewhere else. she said sure. The bar tender had a very poor unfriendly unprofessional attitude. In my opinion this Coltons employee needs to learn some people skills, she clearly has none. read more

Justin, our server, was amazing! He paid attention to details and quickly managed requests. The T-bone was delicious! Spot on cooking and selection. The fries were over cooked. The salads were perfect. Presentation was considered with all parts to the salad, too. (I wish I had a picture...identically and symmetrical! ). The green beans were okay. (Who orders those at a steakhouse,anyway?). The small sirloin was beef jerky quality. Spices were fine, cooked medium, just not a great cut of meat. Select something different. Would've earned 5 stars, except for the fact that about 10 minutes after we ordered - we were informed that they were out of ribs and couldn't serve my 'Sirloin & Ribs.' But even so; my second choice of 'Hawaiian Ribeye' was outstanding!! Way better than I expected, and I want to go back and eat it again! Sides were solid. The loaded mashed potatoes were chock-full of flavor - fantastic! Our dinner salads were also good, and my wife enjoyed her 'Chicken & Shrimp' combo. The food at Colton's is awesome. Holly is a wonderful, friendly, funny server, I request h every time I go in during the day. Adam and Bree are wonderful servers also and I request them also. If a restaurant's servers aren't wonderful then the restaurant isn't wonderful either. That is not a problem at Colton's, they know they have great servers. I've tried many different menu options and I've loved them all. I only had one bad steak (it had a large piece of gristle deep inside, it couldn't be seen when looking at it). I informed the server and a new steak was immediately cooked and it was awesome. I give Colton's a 5/5, 5 star rating and highly recommend it. When he brought the bills, we started paying and then discovered that he had mixed them up and none of us had the right bill. then when I got the correct bill i had been charged for tea which i didn't get. everyone enjoyed their meal except me. The food was great, costumer service was not. I ordered a to-go order and was treated poorly on the phone as well as when I went to pick up the order. The girl that was working To-go's this night seemed like she could care less about me and ended up essentially throwing my bags of food at me when they were ready. I only said two words to the girl and was treated like this. I don't like feeling rushed nor treated with the amount of disrespect that this employee had. Good steak but can be a bit overrated. Sometimes you get a very fatty cut of meat that accounts for 1/4 your steak. Very good when they get it right. Really bad and impossible to get it corrected when they get it wrong. I had an experience where the cook sent me a 12 oz cut where 20% was fat and it was obvious. I asked to talk to a manager. Guess who also happened to be on the grill. Incredulous that he cooked a cut of meat with so much fat on it. Overall the guy was an ass about it and ended up saying that was the steak I was gonna get and I could take it or leave it. I left it. We love to eat at Colton's steakhouse in Benton. The steaks are usually the best in town and cooked just the way I like them. We ate there last night with our grandkids and daughter to soothe away bad news about school closings and our grandson not getting to perform his play due to the cancellations. We all ordered steaks medium rare. It took forever for them to arrive but we did not mind because we were all having a good time just visiting with each other. When they arrived 4 of them were cold and so were the french fries. We told the waitress and she stated that is what you get when you order steaks medium rare. I informed her that was not acceptable and all other places including Colton's served our steaks hot. She said she would take them back and have them put on the grill again. I told her that was not acceptable because I did not want my steak cooked well done. She asked what we wanted her to do and I told her we wanted another steak. She left with the steaks and another waitress came by and was also rude. It took another 15 minutes for the steaks to arrive. My husband went to find out where they were and he saw our order sitting in the window again waiting for someone to deliver them to us. The manager, who was very nice, delivered them. They were not hot like they should be but were luke warm so we ate them. They were very tasty just not as hot as they should be. The good thing from the whole experience was the teaching moment for our grandchildren. We told them how you should act when you are waiting on someone and not how rude these people were. read more

Stopped by this restaurant on Labor Day at the end of a long road trip. The service and food were excellent! The loaded baked potato soup was super creamy and the best I've ever had. Our family had a steak, burger, chicken, ribs and smoked salmon dip, and everyone said their food was very good. They also had very good sanitation practices during COVID, with the added measure of plexiglass panels installed between each booth. I highly recommend Colton's! read more

Pretty good place to stop for dinner. Ribeye was pretty tasty. Waitstaff very attentive. Cocktails good too, but no bar.
