Food was horrible had to send my steak back 3 times. Manager's name was Tasha she did not care I missed eating with my dinner date and that I had to eat my steak alone without my sides. She thought to make up for a horrible experience a appetizer on the next trip would suffice. The appetizer is only usable if you buy a meal of course so actually she didn't make up for it at all. Service was a 10/10, our server was great and that's the only good thing I can say about this eating experience. My burger was so overcooked it was inedible and the fries that came with it tasted absolutely awful. We had a hard time getting seated. I called in to get on the waitlist; we had a large party so I couldn't check in on line. 15 minutes after our check in time we checked to see if it was almost time. We were told 20 minutes. After 20 minutes we were told 15 more. After 15 minutes they told us that they had given our table to another party because we didn't respond to their text message. They had entered the wrong number. Even though we were right there and had been checking on our seating status. They bypassed us for the next large group. They finally found us a spot by splitting our group into 2 tables of 6 sitting back to back. Our server did an excellent job. Colton was very attentive. He kept our drinks filled and provided plenty of rolls. The food was good even though some of the steaks weren't cooked as we ordered. The quality of the steaks has gone down a lot in general. In addition, it amazes me how non-customer service the Take Away has gotten with one specific young lady being very rude but I seem to keep getting her when I pick food up. I see other pick up customers get a much friendlier person and I always seem to get the rude one. The Take Away service was great during the whole shutdown phase and continued for.awhile but it's not very good anymore. This place is terrible. Great food and service, but the crayons that come with the kids menus are absolute garbage. Expected the kids coloring menus to be entertainment for my children - but they were NOT!! My children couldn't even use these excuses for crayons. No color payoff at all. My family and I went to the Benton Texas Roadhouse for my son's birthday, Thursday 11/9. We called ahead because we had a party of 12, everyone arrived by 5pm. We get seated in TWO 6 top booths for a BIRTHDAY PARTY. We asked to be seated somewhere else. The hostess nor manager gave a flying eff even though there was a booth empty with a table right next to it that would've worked perfectly. The manager was a jerk. My son's cheeseburger was so burned he couldn't eat it, his BIRTHDAY meal. So we had to sit in separate booths, try to eat and sit with our backs to each other. That's the first time I'd ever been there and most likely won't ever go back. I've worked in restaurants as a manager, server, and cook, and I know that's not how you treat guests. read more

Order a smothered chicken... With the grilled onions in the gravy. The baked sweet potato definitely on the side... But I have them hold off on the drizzle. Just the cinnamon butter alone is enough. My Husband and I go here fairly often. The last time, our waitress was Sherrie. She was fantastic. Very friendly and wanted to ensure everything was cooked to our liking. My Husband always orders the ribeye steak to be medium rare. It has had to be sent back every single time because blood is literally pouring out of it when he cuts into it. When he receives it back from the kitchen, it is still rare, but he accepts it and sometimes brings most of it home to grill it a bit more. I always order the pork chop or herb chicken. The pork chop almost always comes out way too pink (even a Manager said "oh, no." He took the pork chop back and when I got it the second time, my mashed potatoes & corn left at the table were cold. So, I boxed it all up and took it home to reheat it all. Even though I specifically ask the waitress (every single time) to please bring out my mashed potatoes or any veggies to be hot, but they are barely warm every single time. It was our server's first night at TR, too, so a new experience for everyone. Our server was shadowed by a more experienced lady, which probably helped. It was ok but the bar staff was not overly friendly and the waitresses seemed like there was some sort of hostility going on. My rare steak was more medium well and the potato was not cooked all they way- gross! The waitress never asked how the food was- typically when full plates are being left on the table, that should be a good sign that there was a problem. Never saw any sign of management. I have no way to prove it, but I feel confident that my food was microwaved. read more

My wife and I went to this Texas Roadhouse location for supper tonight and had a pretty good experience. The restaurant was busy but we were seated relatively quickly. Our server, Ken, was friendly and helpful. He made recommendations from the menu and made us feel welcome. I ordered the Grilled Salmon with seasoned rice and the steamed veggies, which are broccoli and sliced carrots. My wife had the 6 ounce Sirloin with baked potato and the steamed veggies. We also received their yeast rolls, which are addictive. Our entrees were served hot and well prepared and delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the broccoli florets had some sort of grit in them, like fine sand. This was unfortunate because they tasted delicious, but the grit was too much to handle. The manager came to apologize and said she would look into the matter immediately. We weren't trying to criticize overly but to just make the manager aware of the problem. Except for the gritty broccoli, we had a good experience. read more
