Usually when a chain restaurant is rated low I take it with a grain of salt. But in this case the fries had so much salt they were inedible. Same to the burger patty. The rest of the food (salmon, fried chicken tenders, salads) was palatable. The server was competent and nice. read more

So i have not ever had to leave a review before but this is NOT ok...... The food here has always been really good so i was excited to see that they had Seafood Gumbo, until i opened the box. the description states that the seafood gumbo is made with crab,shrimp,okra,sausage, and topped with blackened shrimp served over a bed of rice. My gumbo had NO CRAB, NO OKRA, but it did have canned tiny shrimp, nasty consistency!!! it was a lot of nasty mixed together almost gravy like topped with sausage and a couple of pieces of blackened shrimp over rice. The steak is fluid injected, which shouldn't be the case at a steakhouse. Ate the sirloin and it had the texture of predigested sponge meat swill. Not really meat at all. All the food is soft in texture, which is great if you are elderly with teeth problems but not worthwhile if you are looking for a solid piece of meat. I will never return for steak but perhaps for a burger or similar but that can be obtained elsewhere for lower cost. read more

We were down in Bryant, Arkansas and wanted some steak. I'm nervous about ordering steak. We were welcomed warmly. Very clean restaurant. waiter was very nice. Went in for lunch today. After ordering, my son noticed a cook preparing food, she was not wearing gloves and was eating off the patrons plates while she prepared food. When questioned by the manager, the cook stated "that's why I s don't like that they can can see... You need to put a door in so they can't see me". The cook was also observed wiping the plates with her bare hands. The server was excellent and very professional. The manager offered to re-make our order, but the damage was done. The service was really slow. Waited nearly 45 minutes for our food. The restaurant was pretty dead- well over half empty on a Friday night. I ordered the Logan with a grilled chicken breast. The steak was a bit chewy but it was good and seasoned well. The chicken was a little overboard on the butter sauce but was good. The broccoli was mushy and pretty poorly portioned in my opinion. The green beans were great. My wife ordered the 8oz filet mignon but was told about 20 minutes after ordering that they were out. They told her that they were sorry but the rest of the filets were frozen- they are listed as "fresh". My wife ordered rare sirloin and it came out closer to medium. She did have them remake it. The remake came back perfect. The sauce on the crab cakes was really good but the actual crab cake was underwhelming. The shrimp was very good. I'll start with, my husband said that his 16-ounce Ribeye, cooked medium rare was the best steak that he has ever gotten from Logans, maybe even the best steak he has ever had. That was huge, he is not an easy man to please when it comes to the fine art of steak cookery. He also got some corn, a salad and some spiced apple and said everything was really good. The reason we love Logans is the rolls, I usually bring home a dozen or two because you could buy our souls with Logan rolls, they are that good. I got the Filet Mignon, also cooked medium rare and it was perfect, gone too soon. I also had a salad and that was perfect, as well. We ordered to go, it took some time because the clerk said that she was waiting on the rolls and a waitress accidently took ours, but it was not a long wait. The restaurant is always clean, cool and comfortable. I am surprised all of their ratings are 5 star lately, they knocked it out of the park today. read more

I had a positive experience overall. I ordered the fillet with grilled shrimp, loaded baked potato, with salad. The portions were generous although the flavor was a bit lacking in the steak and shrimp. I'd say they just put the meat on the grill and serve. I ordered a medium steak and it was a little under cooked and charred on the outside. I decided to eat it but wasn't overly thrilled. My waitress was very attentive which is the main reason for the positive review. I believe her name was Amber and she was a rockstar. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I absolutely would but unfortunately that is not an option on this app. Sadly, I am required to give them one star. To start off, my fiancé and I were waiting at the front to be seated for 10 minutes, even though it was completely empty on a Thursday at lunch. I had made eye contact with several waitresses/hostesses and was still not acknowledged. We ordered an appetizer, chips and queso, and needless to say we didn't finish it. The chips were harder than cement and the great value Walmart queso is 10 times better than theirs. The side salad was loaded with dissatisfaction due to the choice of gross lettuce and mediocre ranch. Fine for drinking beer and watching a game but if you are going for a steak dinner I would skip it. The bathrooms were disgusting, which in turn makes me nervous about the kitchen. I ordered a steak medium and received a well done one, my salad never arrived, my baked potato contained sour cream after I order it without sour cream, my grilled shrimp were raw. What a disaster. Look, the restaurant business in general is struggling for help, supplies, etc. and sometimes it will take a little longer to get a table, etc. I had the chicken breast which was excellent. The sides were great and the rolls were delicious as always. Now, the guy beside me had a steak and he said it was tough as shoe leather so the manager gave them a break on the bill. I personally like Logan's better than Texas Roadhouse because it's not as crowded. I'll definitely be back again. read more

We went to Logan's 4 years ago and food was horrible, service was just as bad. Thought we would give them a second chance and again FAIL... my husband ordered the filet, medium well and it came out charred. Manager brought out a second steak and it was better but still well done. I'm not even sure what cut of meat it was but is definitely was not a filet. I had the salmon and it was good, the broccoli was mush, cooked in a steam bag in a microwave, green beans are hard to mess up so they were good. Service was marginal, never got drink refills and waited forever to get the bill. Definitely not going back. read more

We were meant to experience TT BBQ. Let me just share that this was an experience. We walk in and there are diner style dinner tables with 2 families filling up many spaces, a date night couple and a lone diner. There is a small bar with stools and a special spot for "Mr Murray". (Reminded me of Norm from CHEERS. Mr Murray was not there) I loved that the TV's were off... otherwise I don't think it would have happened the way it did. The server was welcoming and friendly just like a family member you hadn't seen in a while. She answered our questions and was hustling between taking out HOT food to patrons and giving us the scoop on the menu. (Only server there and she kept up with all of us)! We decided on Beef Brisket and Jalapeño Cheese Sausage with 2 sides. Excellent choices, brisket was lean and tender, jalapeño sausage did not disappoint. Bbq sauce was tangy. Our sides were simple and flavorful. We were so hungry, we forgot to take a photo before we dove in. We were talking with the staff and other guests enjoying their meal. One suggested the Banana pudding for dessert and they were correct, it was soooo good. (Later learned it was made by our server, Sarah. Heart Emoji. It felt like grandma's kitchen and the family was gathered and sharing a meal. No strangers. Several take out orders came and went. Tim opened this place 2 years ago to bring good BBQ to the smaller local scene of Benton. (Plus downtown Little Rock is no longer a desirable destination). It may be off the beaten path but so worth the extra couple miles. Had a nostalgic moment when I saw the Horse Ride. OMGoodness so fun, how many times I would beg my daddy to let me ride one of those anytime I saw one. Now I am too big, but loved the memory. There is a great big outdoor patio covered over have where they have live music and events. The look out on over green grass lawn and forest is beautiful. This place is a "Hole in the wall" type but excellent in all areas. Service 5-Stars Food 5-Stars We stayed much longer due to great conversations with the other guests and family feeling. Stopped in for lunch the other day and had the macaroni and cheese topped with chopped brisket and asked them to put the sauce on the side because most places just drown their meat in sauce and you can't even taste the beef. There's usually reason they don't want you to taste it. But Tim is VERY talented on that smoker! He was wonderful and honored my request without batting an eye (some chefs get offended). The staff and Tim both chatted with me in between customers and there was a good clip of folks in and out picking up food and raving about it as was I. The sauce is homemade and a family recipe and of course he's serving his grandma's macaroni and cheese, which is different from how I make mine, but it was still really delicious. The best part are the prices - so reasonable I t's not even funny, and I left absolutely stuffed to the brim. Be sure and try their fried pies too, I got a cherry pie to go and it was yummy! I'll drive all the way from Diamondhead on the regular anytime I want brisket because it was just that good. I would've taken photos, but I am held my lunch before I thought to do so. Sounds like a good excuse to go back to Tim's Tavern ;-)

If I could give no stars I would. I order a crispy chicken sandwich. It was not crispy. It was so…read moresoggy and greasy the bread was soaked with grease and in edible. I tried to soak the grease up with a napkin. The server walked but and I mentioned how greasy and soggy it was she offered to get me fresh bread. I declined as it would not save the greasy soggy chicken. I tried to eat part of it, an then when the server came by I told her she could take it away because it was not edible. She said she'd grab her manager. Which was apparently the other lady taking tables with her, as I heard and saw her taking to her. She did not want to come to the table apparently. Told her to discount it or make new one. We just took the discount as we waited long enough for our food. The bacon was kinda gross too on my sandwich and My wife had a side a bacon and she apologized and said they were making more. When she brought it out. The bacon brought when we asked for the check was good. Too bad everything else wasn't my mother in laws toast came out cold and not buttered. They got her more. She also mentioned her scrambled eggs tasted like they had cheese in them and were full of grease just do not say anything. Finally they are advertising apple crisp cakes everywhere and when we sat down the server should have told us they were out because that's what we originally wanted. Slow service and horrible food. Waffle House is up the road. Go there instead.
