We were looking for something new. We found it. Baja Grill is out of the norm for sure. Thinking outside the box, this is forward thinking for sure. We ordered the guac in the queso. WOW. Baja Grill offered a nice respite for us as we were spending the day in Benton and needed to grab a late lunch! We were seated quickly even with a larger group, and the experience only went up from there! We got the dip trio, and it did not disappoint! The guac and the salsa were pretty good, but the queso stole the show (pro-tip: get the queso with beef in it--you will not be disappointed!). The waiter refilled our chips on multiple occasions which was classy, and by the time our tacos got there, we were all pretty stuffed. That didn't stop me from enjoying the three tacos I ordered, all of which had fresh ingredients and freshly smoked/braised meats that added great flavor to the meal. Of the three I got (I had the baja pork, the pig sooie, and the Caribbean jerk), I'd definitely recommend the jerk and the pork. The pig sooie had a bit too much going on for me in a taco, but I knew that going in. Next time I'm in Benton, I'll be back to try the nachos and fajitas for sure! Whether you're a carnivore, vegetarian, vegan, and or gluten free there's something for everyone here. The meals are unique and well crafted. My coworker ordered the chicken bowl and he was slightly disappointed by the vast quantities of iceberg lettuce and sparse chicken. The portions were small. They have an in-house chipotle hot sauce. I sat at the bar and ate some delicious fajitas while I watched some basketball on the big tvs. The food was really good but I wasn't prepared to have my whole fajita served on the hot plate. Next time I'll ask for the fixings to be on a separate plate. The staff was very concerned with my experience and was always checking on me. The menu wasn't very expensive.
