They are very accommodating and helpful. I've had pretty much the whole menu and have no complaints. I prefer the cheese dip over the guacamole because it's always really warm and creamy. The salsa isn't too spicy but there's a little kick! Some of my favorite things to eat are the fajita quesadilla mixed, the fajita baked potato!!! the fajita mi pueblito and for lunch we usually get the fajitas Alex. The also have a vegetarian menu and there's tons of different options over all. Everyone's favorite is the rice with fajita chicken covered in cheese-- Arroz mi pueblito! This is one of the worst Mexican food restaurants i've ever been to. Guacamole was oily and full of mushy tomatoes. Taco shell was straight out of the box and stale. Rice and beans dry and bland. Chile relleno was pepper dipped in egg batter and stuffed with nothing. Cheese sauce had consistency of water. Service.....sry you had to take my order! Acted as if he hated being here. Extremely dissatisfied! This place came recommended and I am here to tell you, it's BS, I do not recommend. The customer service is the actual worst. Sat there for about 15mins before someone asked us what we wanted to drink and gave us chips and when we asked about beverages other than water (bc there aren't any listed on the menu) he acted like a drink menu is not a thing, but there is a bar and other people had drinks so idk. We then tried to flag down someone else to ask about drinks and they STRAIGHT UP ignored us twice. Another 20mins went by before they came asking for our order and the guy was so rude and impatient with us when taking it. Brought out our order and it was wrong (chicken instead of beef) and then when they fiiiiinally brought out the correct one, he set it down and said "here. Beef" and walked off. Like are you mad at me bc you made it wrong? I don't understand. We ate and went to the thing to pay and leave and I told the guy "y'all have terrible customer service" and he said okay, thank you.. soooooo I do not recommend. Hated it. Best Mexican in the lr area. Definitely get a margarita, preferably on the rocks. They have a small, medium, and large; the medium is enough if you don't have a dd. Very well made(probably my favorite). Everything is good and the price is very cheap. Don't waist your time at the tomolly's down the street(unless you like commercial on the border 'esqe mexican). This is real Mexican food served by great people. Very accommodating. This might be the only place in Bryant good enough to take out of town guests. Despite all the mixed reviews, this place exceeded our expectations. Service was quick. The food was very good! We ordered the pollo a la Mexicana and the quesadilla rellana de fajita with steak which were both delicious once the pico de Gallo was added. A little bland without but that was expected. The white queso was amazing, a little thin, but tasted great. The salsa was just okay. I ordered a medium margarita (potent) on happy hour which was 6.50 with a 24% liquor tax added to the total. Say what?!? So that was a 1.56 added to the cost of the margarita. Hmmm...Good thing we caught happy hour. All said, If we're ever back in this area, we will return. read more

There are half a million Mexican restaurants around Central Arkansas. This is one of them, and that's about the nicest thing I can say about the restaurant. I've eaten here at least three times, each time hoping that they will have improved. I guess I should have caught on after the second time, but call me an optimist. The last time I dined here was just after a snow storm when there was nothing open except this little beacon of hope. I have no doubt that the food is somehow Mexican inspired, but it feels a little pre-packaged/re-heated to me. Not that there's some great art to the presentation of Mexican food, but they generally fail even on that point - if I wanted the lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo side to my enchiladas all mixed up then I can do it on my own, thank you very much. I've eaten the mixed fajitas and combination enchiladas here. They were edible but the restaurant is seriously stingy with the portions (maybe they're trying to save the South from its obesity crisis), and that definitely doesn't help when the food is so mediocre. You're much better off going to Casa Mexicana on Highway 5, or better yet drive a little further toward the city and go to Las Palmas on Stagecoach/Hwy 5. read more

I had been so disappointed with the Mexican options - bland, everything tastes like boiled chicken and corn chips - but not here! This place is good. I've been twice. Went to this place for the first time on a Sunday night. We were seated very quickly, drinks came out quick and chips and salsa were free! Server came to get our orders and obviously knew his menu. The food came within 5 minutes. I've been to 'fast food' places that cost more than this and were way slower! Food looked great and tasted better. When we first walked in the man who seated us looked like he was mad at the world but our waiter was not only pleasant and friendly but easy on the eyes! Food came so quick and steaming hot. If this was just on the food it would be 5 stars but taking it all in there's things that need addressed. The handicap stall in the ladies bathroom did not have a seat on it. This was our first time eating at mi ranchito. Once we got seated it took at least 10 minutes to get service. Right away we could tell they were very understaffed. We did get our drinks very quickly once we ordered although they do not have a drink menu? We kind of had to guess about what drinks they have available. I had to choose the size of my margarita based on what people were drinking at another table. We ordered chicken fajitas for 2 and those came out really fast as well.
