Mario came back and said the check had been fixed but all he dis was subtract $2 from the $15.99. I told him that still wasn't correct but the manager said it was correct because the extra amount was the tax. So apparently the tax at this restaurant doubles your total amount. Ill never go there again.

I ordered an enchilada with a chalupa, but what I received looked nothing like what I expected. Instead of a chalupa, it resembled more of a soft taco, and the sides looked like a very small bean taco salad. The presentation alone was confusing. As for the taste... everything was extremely bland. The rice had no flavor at all, and the enchilada barely had any cheese on top--what little cheese dip was there felt very stingy. The only thing that tasted halfway decent was the chips and salsa. Overall, this experience missed the mark for me. I'm not sure if I should try something different next time or just avoid this place altogether, but based on this order, I wouldn't recommend it.

My review is mainly based on service. The food is ok. It's the same thing you get at most Mexican…read moreplaces. Except for La Hacienda. Sadly, I compare all Mexican restaurants to La Hacienda and I guess none will ever be on the same level as LH. I'm usually a pretty laid back person, try not to be negative, but one thing that does get to me is poor service. Especially when we are the only customers there or maybe there's one other tanle besides us. So like I said I'm comparing the service here to La Hacienda where your drink is never empty. You never have to ask for salsa or anything else. They will trip over each other to make sure their customers are never in need of a single thing. This was the second Senor tequila we visited in one week and both locations had very poor service. Both times we were the only customers and then there was one other table besides us for half of the time. There were looong intervals here where I waited for someone to come By so I could ask for more tea or salsa or even a to go box. The food isn't so amazing that I am willing to tolerate poor service. Not when I can go right down the road and closer to my house to La Hacienda and get food that is on a higher level and service that you will have a hard time finding anywhere else too. The food is basic here and the service is below average. It was my first time here and last. I'll stick with the other place. Sorry :(

We ordered TONS of food here and not only ate two meals worth for $40, but there's leftovers from that second meal AND I had my step mom try one of the birria tacos too, dipped in the consommé and she loves it too! We got 6 Birria tacos with 2 containers of consommé (darned if I forgot to take pictures until it was too late!!) and they even check to make sure what filling you want (pork or beef), what toppings (cilantro and onions) and a huge assortment of sauces! They're literally amazing! We also ordered an enchilada plate with 2 Chicken enchiladas, rice, beans and although they may have been out of the red sauce, they did have a nacho cheese sauce and it was just as good as any sauce she could've put on or in them, in my opinion. My husband LOVED them! Then we got 4 tamales that they make themselves fresh and they were very good. They're freshly steamed, moist and filled with lots of whatever you choose. They had ground beef, pork and chicken. We got the pork and they were fabulous. Maybe a touch too much masa on the outside or what becomes the ends from inside the corn husk, but they were still very very good. We would've gotten more food, but we were on a time crunch and had to grab and go. There's like 2 or 3 other Mexican restaurants in town, but this was the only place we wanted to visit and from the food we enjoyed with family and how much we walked away with for such reasonable prices, I'm glad we chose wisely. If you're looking for freshness, (they had all our food well packed up, sauces, tableware, napkins and condiments in asst. boxes, containers, etc. in neatly stacked/packed in bags in less than 10 minutes!) quick and fabulous service...look no further than this fantastic lil place!
