I'm a loyal customer of this establishment, but my recent experience left a sour taste. I arrived at 8:44 PM, ordered my food, and began eating. However, at 8:51 PM, the lady with the hickey staff member started slamming metal chairs together loudly, creating a warehouse-like atmosphere. This was not only startling but also unnecessary, especially since it was still 9 minutes shy of closing time. To make matters worse, the same rude lady loudly announced to her team tell that customer in drive through we are CLOSED. But it wasn't 9pm yet.... The whole ordeal felt rude and unprofessional. We were hungry and ready to hit the road and wanted a quick bite. I wanted something chipotle- ish food but with more flavor and they did not disappoint. Tucked right off the interstate, we rolled through the drive through. I order the quesadilla #2 and whew it was perfect. The service was fast and the food.was hot!! We even got.a cookie which was so soft and warm. We didn't go inside but the drive thru process was so smooth. Don Pepe's is a great little spot to get a fast affordable Mexican dish. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas and bowls. They have fresh choices and great food. Ivan was super friendly and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed and wanted. They are very much like a chipotle service wise. But they are very much different in the service and the attitude. And the Queso is good and free to add to your food! They also have aqua fresca, bottled drinks and a fountain. This place is just as good, if not better than, Chipotle and Moe's. Really good fresh food. The only downside is they are always incredibly understaffed and often only work through the drive thru. I like to be able to go in and eat, as well as watch my meal constructed. It seems that when I am not able to go in, they always miss something. Went in to order and the girl behind the counter couldn't answer a simple question because she didn't speak English - WTF? My fiance and I LOVE us some Don's! It blows Moe's and Chipotle out of the water. We visit at least twice a week (only because we are only in town twice a week). We always order a CCR with double meat and split it and it's more than enough food for the both of us and it's only $11 Where else can you get a meal for 2 for $11!? Our only problem is there aren't more locations. I do wish they'd do a rewards system because of how often we frequent. We have never had a bad order or bad service. Came with the family to Don Pepe's for Sunday lunch and it was amazing. Imagine a more authentic Chipotle with better prices and tastier food. The kids menu items came with a side and a drink for $3.99 and we have so many leftovers. The veggies were fresh and there were unique sauces. Don Pepe's has quickly become my favorite eatery in the central Arkansas area. The workers are always friendly, and the food is fantastic. It's similar to Chipotle or Moe's in that you build your own meal, although in my opinion it far surpasses any similar restaurant. I've had just about every option they offer, and love each one. I've moved away from the area now, but will always eat here when we visit. read more

Pleasantly surprised! I recently visited after seeing a billboard advertisement. The food was fresh, well prepared, and tasted good. Personally, I'd have liked a little more seasoning in the Mexican rice, but it was comparable to what you'd find at most sit-down restaurants. The location was clean, and the staff was friendly. Really wanted tacos and found this restaurant, which seems pretty new. Ordered the 3 Taco plate, which was very tasty with the fresh Cilantro, corn, cheese and romaine lettuce! The only drawback was, I could only choose different meat for the 3 tacos. I had to have the same toppings in all 3 of the tacos. This place is new very clean super friendly staff, looks to be a family owned Mexican type restaurant. It's a cross between moes and chipotle. We loved it had the chicken taco salad w that works in a nice flakey tortilla shell. Hubby had a pulled pork quesadilla, pica de stuff, cheese with a side of Mexican rice and black beans. Each order came with a small container of tasty salsa and extra tortilla chips. They did put cheese dip on my taco salad it did look runny but work with being a salad dressing setup. We've tried to support Don Pepe's now at three different visits. Each time the food is so salty it is hard to eat. This last trip we picked up to go, my rice bowl didn't have any meat on it.
