Salad with fried chicken
Kevin G.

It is a shame this place remains inconsistent in service. I like the wings here, but every time, it is a mixed bag for service. Tonight we were seated and a young man came over and said I will be taking care of you and he took our drink order. A moment later, a young lady came over and asked if he (the waiter) told us he was being trained by her. Why not wait and come to the table together? I am just here to get served and eat. So he comes back with our drinks and takes our order. She ordered a fried chicken salad, and I ordered 8 hot wings, side of coleslaw, and the wings came with celery and blue cheese dipping sauce. The food came out pretty quick as they were not busy at all (first clue). They dropped our food and left. I realized after they left my celery and dip was left off the order. I was into my 5th of 8 wings before anyone walked by, and I asked another waitress to help since ours were sitting at the bar on the other side of the restaurant talking instead of watching their tables. She was happy to help. After a few minutes on my last wing, our trainer waitress asked if everything was ok, and I explained the above, and she said she will go and retrieve the celery now. When they arrived I was done with my meal. The wings, I ordered hot, pretty wimpy for hot wings but tasty as was the coleslaw and the celery and blucheese dip even though I was done with my meal. She enjoyed her salad. We go out for service and for good food. We got the good food tonight. Great job, kitchen staff. I'm not sure we will revist this location again as the service is subpar consistently. What a shame, and it is likely why they are not busy.

No texas game

Good food, i loved the wings, the service was great but the waitress never turned on the Texas game like i asked

Decided to give this place a try by ordering to-go for football day. I'm giving them 4-stars for a few reasons, the variety of wing flavors is great along with their tasty appetizers and other wraps available. When we called, we were treated with patience and respect as this was our first time ordering and needed help deciding on flavors, etc. our order was correct and on time when we picked up. Getting home, the food was exactly as we expected, okay but we weren't expecting gourmet lol. We would definitely order to-go again or even just hang out at the bar or dining area as they have plenty of space and tvs to enjoy a sports game. 3-stars for food and 4-stars for convenience, and service

Buffalo Chicken wrap. Just OK.

I had higher hopes than the ratings had said about the place, but I tend to be more optimistic and will give most places a shot. When I drive by, there is generally a decent amount of cars out front and the Google reviews had this place rated higher, but turns out the reviews were quite a bit older. It seemed as though they have a group of "regulars" that come by often, so it was off to a good start. I came in for the Buffalo Chicken flatbread, but evidently they haven't had flat breads in over 2 yrs, so I settled on the hostess/bartenders recommendation of the Buffalo Chicken wrap. It was just meh. The fries were decent and had good salt flavor, but the side of ranch was not sufficient to dip them all. Not an expensive place at all for food, so loved that part, but $2.80 for a soft drink and only got 1 seems a little more than necessary. Will come back and try the wings because the Lord knows Cumming, GA just hasn't figured good wings out yet, so hoping they are good here. Overall 3 out of 5.

Food was decent, but service was horrific. Not planning on returning. If you have lots of time to wait, then go for it.

Food is sub par here. If you are looking for good wings, this is not your place. Wings are not cooked to order unless you order in bulk.

Fresh flaky and moist cod fish fillet with super crunchy batter and to die for tartar sauce. Owners lady is very friendly. Setup and decor feels like an English Pub. Located in the…read moregrowing Cumming City Center by the Ampitheatre, this is the place to go for a delicious mostly-authentic chippery. The full fish filet ends up being quite large, with the other food and sides would definitely be enough to sate two. We ordered the General's Platter for two which was a full fish filet, four jumbo shrimp/prawns, six hush puppies (definitely not English), and a choice of more commonwealth style Chips or American fries. Food was overall excellent, freshly made, with authentic batter and a pretty good tartare sauce. Also with classic lemon and malt vinegar to complete the look. Staff are extremely nice and accommodating; order at the counter and they will bring to you at the table, seat yourself. Also a bar for some draughts and drinks but it was lunchtime and nobody was partaking. Store is dressed up head to toe heaps of Brit ephemera and otherwise but is super casual! Sitting and eating next to Mr. Bean was fun. Parking available on the street but probably recommended to park in the structure behind. Only problem is the store was playing American music and not the Brit classics!

This review once again is LONG OVERDUE!! I apologize to the owner because we had a FABULOUS meal…read moreand experience. We were given a gift certificate by our realtor last year and waited for a special occasion since we were told it is pricey. Valentines seemed like the perfect time and it was! Made reservations several weeks before opting for the 13th of February and at 5 pm in hopes of avoiding the crowd. It worked. We arrived and were seated promptly in what they call the Al Capone booth which was for two and tucked towards the back wall which was cozy and private except much later the table across from us which looks out toward the table we were at, 4 people were seated. It wasn't a big deal as they were busy talking with their group. Our waiter was Jason (I hope I'm remembering his name correctly) and he told us he was fairly new. Great waiter, engaging with us, gave us excellent tips on the food choices, how things were cooked especially the steaks, which cuts would be best for us according to our tastes, very attentive our entire meal, didn't rush us through our meal and told us what to expect with the dishes we chose. Now we share our meals and opted for a 16 oz steak which my husband finished his half and I brought 1/2 of my 1/2 home along with much of our side dishes. I guess that means each side comes with a lot of food. We ordered the sweet potatoes, which was incredibly delicious, nice and soft on the inside and a bit crunchy on the outside. They have a caramel flavor bc of caramelized. Oh sooo scrumptious. The asparagus were nice a large and once again the flavor on them were delish!! Our steak came out on a plate by itself bc Jason said the chef likes to show the beauty of it. I agree, simple, but the steak on its own looked grand. It was cooked to perfection, so juicy and packed with flavor. It melted in our mouth. Worth every cent. The mushrooms along with the sauce flavor we chose were a perfect combo with our steak. The steak on its own was amazing but the mushrooms were delicious with the steak. The incredible rolls they serve are to die for. Light, fluffy and down right a perfect accompaniment to our dinner. My husband enjoyed his wine choice with Jason's recommendation. I had Jason take back my Lemon Drop Martini because it wasn't to my taste, just a bit boozier than I enjoy. The second time was much better. The manager Peril came to our table and introduced himself. Told us about the history of his restaurant and was a kind man. We talked with him about being from CA. Also how his restaurant being located in an area you'd never imagine having such a great restaurant would be was awesome. It's in this small strip mall right off Meadow Drive amongst other small shops. Not very grand looking on the outside but very nice and lovely inside. Very intimate feeling in the booths. I did notice they have a small bar area which was packed as well as small tables in the area. The parking lot is not very large with some handicap parking spots. Quite large inside with outdoor seating within a tent covered area with windows. We definitely will visit again, on another special occasion. Everything and everyone was GREAT and ever so tasty.

She provided great recommendations and honored a request I made. SHE added to a wonderful experience. THANK YOU LAUREN, YOU DID A FABULOUS JOB! Now for the review I HATE giving out 5 stars and was looking for a reason or excuse to knock them down to a a 4.9, but found NONE. The night was perfect. We were there to celebrate a birthday. As I included myself in the "Powers" reservation for four people, I insisted on paying for my own meal. PLUS knowing that my chances of eating there again were slim (visiting from San Diego), I wanted to splurge and indulge. :) I had the 8oz filet (cooked medium) with blue cheese crust, accompanied with 2 pan seared scallops. Oh my God! The steak was cooked perfectly. It had a nice sear while remaining perfectly cooked in the middle. I judge a restaurant/steakhouse by how well it cooks it's scallops. HAVEN eaten many, I know they are easy to mess up. Some places either over-cook them, or don't clean them well. However, these may have been the best I ever had. Cooked perfectly and with full flavor. The group raved about the loaded mashed potatoes and dessert. THE MEAL was awesome. understanding that everyone's experience there will be unique to them, "I" highly recommend you visit this place to have your own experience. I hope in the future I get to eat there again. THIS PLACE IS KEN HARMON APPOVED.

We started with the hummus and pita, which was a great surprise. I'm not usually a big hummus fan, but theirs has a really smooth, clean flavor. The pita was warm and soft, and the mix of black olives with olive oil on the side added a really nice touch. My wife ordered the lentil soup, and after trying a spoonful, I immediately regretted not ordering my own. It is easily one of the best lentil soups I've had -- full of flavor, rich, comforting, and seasoned perfectly. Definitely top-two in my book. For the entrée, I chose the large mixed grill platter (around $50), which comes with steak, chicken, lamb, and another kebab. It also includes two generous portions of rice, grilled vegetables, and tzatziki. The amount of food is impressive and absolutely enough for two people to share. The meats were tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. For dessert, my wife went with the chocolate mousse while I tried the pistachio cake. Both were excellent -- the mousse was rich and smooth, and the pistachio cake had great texture and flavor. One of the highlights for me was actually the mango lemonade. The first sip really stood out -- refreshing, balanced, and surprisingly good. The restaurant itself is very clean with a nice setup and comfortable seating. The owners and staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. You can tell they are proud of what they serve. Parking is easy since it's part of a larger shopping center with plenty of spaces. There is still a lot on the menu I want to try next time -- especially the gyros. I'm very happy Cumming has a Mediterranean spot this solid. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great food and great service.

Then a waiter (who I believe his main job was bartender) came to get our drink orders. He returned fairly quickly with the drinks and left. Several more minutes go by and still no one came to take our food order. We finally flagged the waiter/bartender down and told him we were ready to order. He took our order. The food arrived staggered, 2 sandwiches in 18 minutes, then a calzone in 20 minutes, finally the pizza in 22 minutes. One sandwich was the Hasselhoff tasted very off, like an artificial/chemical taste. Sent it back, didn't order anything to replace it (they took it off the bill). The rest of the food was great, especially the pizza which was The Bronx. I got cannoli to go, the order comes with 2. They were pretty good however whoever filled them didn't do well, there was only filling in about 1 1/2" of each end and the 2" in the middle was just empty shell. You would think for $8.00 they could fill the whole thing.
