The server was so rude and cold that, she almost said they wouldn't serve anything hot or warm and we have to order in the next 30 seconds. The wings we ordered did not have the sufficient sauce when they supposedly tossed it with. The desert which is supposed to be served warmed up (chocolate cake), was served cold, the cake was colder than the scoop of ice cream, even colder was our server throughout. Then a gentleman walks by our table to say "hey we are closing soon, we are not kicking you out but we are closing soon". Sorry, I assumed he was gonna ask us if the food was alright, maybe that was not his job neither our server's (I guess). I am sure they were tired serving all the customers before us so couldn't care less about our orders (let alone requests). We were looking for something quick and with the group craving wings, BWW seemed like the most convenient solution. Regret. I love Buffalo Wild Wings but if you're looking for a good place to go with friends, this isn't the location for you. I understand that it is a Saturday night but we came when the place was half empty. I came with a group of 6 for a late night meal around 10:30 but it wasn't as busy as I expected. They changed the way you order so we had to order through our phones which was totally fine. My 3 friends got their food first and started eating and after about waiting for another 20 minutes my other friend got hers. Her food came out cold so we told our server as well as telling him that mine hasn't come out yet. He said it was on the way and my friends food was being remade. At this point, it's been about an hour and my food hasn't arrived and all of my friends have finished eating. The manager Sam came out with my friends remade wings but they were as dry as Arizona. My food came out with hers and mine were okay except for the fact that my buffalo dry rub looked like it was sprinkled on there. I added a picture for reference. When another server came to give us our food, he told us that the manager will come and give us a discount for what has happened tonight. At this point it has been over an hour and all my friends have finished eating and I felt like I was filming a mukbang by the way that I was the only one eating. The manager took another 20 minutes to come over to talk to us and said that she will give us a discount and took care of this for us. We asked for receipts and then had to wait for another 20 minutes. I decided to go to the host and ask if he could just print out our receipts for us. He was able to help me and our server gave us our receipts. We didn't leave until 1am. As much as I love BWW, I wouldn't want to stay for that long. What I'm most upset about is the fact that I went out with my friends to spend time and eat WITH them and not watch each other eat. It was sad watching my friends not have a good time. I wouldn't mind waiting for food as long as we got them together. I really do wish I got a better experience at one of my favorite places but if you're looking for a good time with friends, I would recommend literally anywhere else in Tempe. read more

I wish I could say the service was bad but tonight it was non existant. My daughter (11) picked this as her Birthday dinner. We got seated and that was it. Nothing no drink order no food order. When we went to the front to ask for a server we were told we had to order on our phone now. So by the time you get there app to work and order they want you payment card right away. By the way if you want refills on soda or waters you are out of luck. My son took his drink to the soda counter and got his own refill. The food is brought to your table and dropped and no one asks if you need anything. No forks no napkins. Food was cold but because they don't talk to you now they don't care. This new ordering thing is a Joke and they need to get rid of it. I hope the servers started getting a wage because now that there is no service I don't see many making tips. Came in at 11:00 PM on a Friday. Was told 5 minutes for a table. Ended up taking 30. Restaurant was FILTHY! If I was the owner of this business I would be embarrassed. Absolutely incompetent staff bussing tables 1 item at a time. I cannot recommend avoiding this location enough. Let's not to mention not a manager IN SIGHT. Called the restaurant and was HUNG UP ON. Cool atmosphere at this particular BWW because of the location by the ASU campus. Came in Saturday night around 10:30 PM. Sat up at the bar & so it just took seconds to get our drink order. Ordered a few beers and an order of wings. Requested half Garlic Parmesan & half Hot. Service was good by the bartender and not to much time before we received our wings. However, we also got a large side of fries. Those were dissatisfying! Not fresh, (left overs) that were clearly dry and re-fried. Very disappointed in the kitchen serving this to us! On the plus side of this chain ; At least 40 tvs showing various sports channels -TVs throughout the restaurant!Competitive prices & huge choices of chicken options with all sorts of side dishes, dry spice rubs and sauces. The only reason i am giving any stars is because our server, Kaylee was AMAZING. First, we got there at 9:50 pm and did not get sat until 10:35 pm. Now we understand that people are understaffed still, but the thing that pushed my boyfriend and i was the fact that 4 parties that came in after us (and larger parties) were all sat well before us. We ordered our appetizers immediately, and when we received them 30 minutes later one could tell they have been sitting under the heat lamp. As well as the table next to us order 4 different apptizers and received all of them before we got our pretzel knots. On top of that the wings we got we VERY cold to the touch, and drier than we have had them before. We sent back the wings and called it a night. Again, Kaylee was great and we felt she deserved 100% tip (which I gave) for her service on 11/10/22. Very busy location because it's right next to ASU. Beware of 21 year olds who like to drink and be loud. They have a lot of tv's and show all of the Sunday NFL games. Go Steelers! The food is okay. Not the best wings but when you are drinking I guess it doesn't really matter. They ran out of mini corn dogs so I was not happy. Not a lot of private space. They cram in a lot of tables so you can't really have a private meal or conversation. Togo orders are offered here right at the entrance which is so convenient. You do not have to walk to the bar. I will come back but more for drinking and not eating. read more

We haven't been to BWW in a while, and when we decide to go back, it wasn't the best. We sat ourselves in their open seating, and I had gone to the women's restroom. One stall was "Out of Service", one was being used, and the other open stall had feces smeared on the seat. I informed the host of the issue, and her words were "yeah... it's been a problem all day. Management is just really busy. " I understand staff shortages, as I work in the same industry. But, seeing that, and then to find out that it has been an issue all day disturbed me. We didn't stay to eat since it made me question the cleanliness of everywhere else and the lack of urgency to clean up. Feces isn't considered a bio-hazard, so gloves, masks, and bleach should be a fair option to clean it up. This made our decision never to return. read more

Thursday June 1st 7pm. My wife son and I went for dinner here at BWW. We were greeted and told it would be a 20 minute wait. It was roughly 20-30 min. Which is understandable. We got our txt message to see the host to be seated; he got us menus, and sat us in the dinning section. There we waited for another 30 minutes before I decided to get the waiters attention and ask him who our waiter was? That we've been sitting here for so long. He told us he was told by the host that we just sat ourselves there and that was the reason he was not serving us. This Made no sense, so we informed him we got seated and a Given menus by the host, I even had the txt. He went on and said that he had to check with the host and find out. He finally came back apologized to us. Our server Blamed everything on the host, telling us his manager was dealing with the host. I was upset that no one came and told us anything about sitting there or anything. If we were in the wrong, someone should have told us we are supposed to check in with the host or something. Seemed cold and strange to me that the staff acted like this towards us, I noticed other waiters looking our way but no one would come tell us anything. We got our food on the fly and service was okay after the incident, but the embarrassment and uncomfortable feeling didnt leave us. After I got home I called up the restaurant. I asked to speak to the manager and was connected to a woman that said she was the manager. She seemed surprised and very apologetic for what happen. She said that she would deal with the issue there after she got off the phone. It shocks me because the waiter told me the manager was already talking to the host about what had happened when we were there, so it seems like there is little to no communication between staff and management. I jumped on yelp and Google to read reviews and it seems to me, we are not alone dealing with these sort of treatments and experiences from this location. BBW Tempe has been our go to spot on many weekends for late night grubs.Perfect spot for watching a game lots of TVs the portion sizes are good. The Samplers are great for sharing they have nachos,onion rings,mozzarella sticks and wings. We got half lemon pepper and half buffalo the husband is a fan of the dry seasonings I'm more partial to the sauces Asian zing is my favorite. The wings are served with choice of blue cheese and ranch generous helpings of celery and carrots. We also got the cheese curds and chocolate fudge cake (comes with ice cream and chocolate sauce) Service is a little slow and they get super busy on weekends. The QR code system is useless. Checked us out within 17 minutes of putting our order in then added an extreme tip without my knowledge. Our waiter only came to give us water. Our food I could tell say at the window for awhile as the sauce was drying up and everything was room temp. I actually almost left before even ordering food because of a poor experience with the hostess. I'm glad we didn't leave because the server more than made up for the first persons rudeness. Food was good. Dog friendly patio. Just wish the hostess and the rest of the organization could get on the same page about customers with dogs. When we arrived we went immediately to the patio, with our dog. We encountered a male employee on the way, let him know where we were going and he politely stepped out of the way and told us to proceed. Then my husband went inside to let someone else know we were out there. At this point the hostess became rude, accusatory and cross. She reprimanded my husband for not coming inside to be seated. We're supposed to bring our dog inside? When he pointed this out. She responded with "well, you should have let us know." No shit Sherlock what do you think he went inside to do? He was letting you know... It is unacceptable to argue with and be rude to a customer in this way and I wanted to leave. But we decided to stay. As I stated above, the server was FABULOUS and turned our experience around, you're lucky to have her working here. Ended up going here tonight for some wings and had the worst waiter. Michael was our waiter for the night and i don't know how to explain how terrible he was. We got our drinks and ordered our food and appetizer, after that he didn't bother with anything else.
