    Boneless wings
    Michelle K.

This location is still very new, so it's in great shape - the place is clean and nice decor. Everyone was very friendly and the order was completed quickly, but not correctly. I partially blame my husband for not checking the bag, but it's very frustrating that you have to do so every time nowadays. We ordered a 6 wing and a 10 wing value meal with fries. We open the bag at home - no fries... but we were sure charged for them. My husband really didn't want to go back to get them. Buffalo wild wings makes ok food. The boneless wings are a decent size and well dressed with sauce. There's a lot of breading on some of the wings, which makes some of them too hard to eat. The inconsistency is annoying & they really need to take a second to make sure orders are going out correctly.

Wow, I can't believe this is an order of regular onion wings that cost $6?! It's too bad because we were excited that this opened in Fair Lawn... highway robbery! Should've looked in the bag when I was in the store so I could complain on the spot. Imagine coming home excited to eat and then seeing this...

Surprisingly one of the best chicken wings I had lately, fries were good too! A bit pricey though, but we're going again today :))))

Our server was Alyssa, she is super fantastic, explained menu, answered our questions, told us about the specials, she was friendly, professional, knowledgeable of all menu items and really made our visit a very pleasant time throughout our dinner. We each started our dinner with a bowl of homemade soup, my wife had clam chowder, and I had the soup of the day which was beef barley. My wife ordered Shepherd's Pie. It's a huge portion loaded with ground beef, vegetables, topped with mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese and baked to a golden brown. She thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I ordered the Prime Rib Special. It was beautifully cooked to a medium rare perfection; it was super tender and melted in my mouth. I got mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies. It also came with a container of Au jus. We did not have any room to attempt to try any dessert, but we will definitely save room on our next visit. I highly recommend Blackjack Mulligans especially if you want good food with fantastic service, having a great experience and a phenomenal time.

In addition to having a full size bar and main dining area, the walls are adorned with very attractive wall art. Thai Chili Wings: The wings have a perfect blend of sweet and spice. As always, the blue cheese dipping sauce is the backbone to this appetizer. Bavarian Pretzel: In lieu of being shaped into a knot, the bavarian pretzel looks like a hot dog. I may not agree with the appearance, but I 100% agree with the taste. The pretzels are war and crispy on the outside while soft and doughy on the inside. And don't be shy with those helpings of pretzel salt! Steak and Arugula Sandwich: This tender, superb sandwich was cooked medium rare and served with sauteed onions & mushrooms on ciabatta bread. Classic BLT: Served on Texas toast, this sandwich has an addition of mayonnaise and avocado to supplement the three primary ingredients. Crab Cake Sandwich: For an Irish pub, this was an excellent seafood sandwich. The crab cake was breaded with panko crumbs and had a variety of toppings. The chipotle aioli sauce was the backbone to this boneless meal. As a bonus, this pub hosts special events throughout the week from Trivia Night to live bands. This pub serves excellent meals and it goes to show you don't need alcoholic drinks or cocktails for a great dining experience! #celticcorner #hawthornenj #irishpub #thaichiliwings #bavarianpretzels #steaksandwich #BLT #CrabCakeSandwich #eats #localspots #foodreview #foodstagram #njfoodie

10/5 Stars!! We…read morerecently had my Mom's 60th birthday party at the Railyard Tavern. I worked with Bob in coordinating everything. He was very accommodating and quick to reply to email. He was a big help in answering any question I had. Our party was roughly 25 people and we reserved the back room for the party. The back room was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably without it feeling cramped. We ordered the apps ahead of time and were told that they would be ready at 5:30. Sure enough, at 5:30 all of the apps came out and they were a big hit. Everything was fantastic. We got some large pizzas, nachos, mozzarella sticks, potstickers, and calamari. There was practically nothing left. The entree's were great and came without delay. I didn't hear a single complaint from any of the guests. I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about our waiter for the night, Alan. I don't think I've ever seen someone be so on top of things before. He handled the whole room essentially by himself and somehow it never seemed like there was a single hiccup the whole night. He was beyond excellent. He was such a good communicator and kept me in the loop with timelines and was overall very organized. He played a significant role in the night going as well as it did. My whole family, and most importantly my mom, had such a wonderful night. And I have Bob, Alan, and the rest of the staff to thank for that.

There really wasn't much to not like about this spot, even if we were a bit apprehensive after looking at the reviews We strolled in at about 6 PM on a warm spring Friday evening and, to my surprise, unlike some of the more popular restaurants in the area, this restaurant had plenty of tables open . That definitely made me a bit hesitant considering how nice of an evening it was and, whenever there is nice weather, the popular restaurants get absolutely jam packed. We were seated quickly at a booth and, as the evening wore on, the restaurant did become a bit busier, but it still wasn't at capacity. The menu was pretty standard tavern/pub-style fare with a variety of different appetizers, salads, entrees, burgers, pizzas and sandwiches. Here's a quick run through of what we ordered: TAVERN STEAK SANDWICH - Like almost everything we ordered, this was EXCELLENT. Although it wasn't 100% what I expected, this was absolutely freakin' delicious. I was expecting the ribeye slices to be a little thicker, but to be fair it did say "thinly sliced" on the menu. Simply put, this was a cheesesteak with onions, roasted peppers and provolone cheese on a super fluffy and soft demi baguette and it was ... PERFECT. Quite frankly, I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and good it was. There were also some fries that accompanied it. I will nitpick and say that the plate was oddly huge for the fries and sandwich, but there was nothing wrong with the sandwich at all. BLACKENED CHICKEN SANDWICH - The blackened chicken was served between 2 slices of Texas Toast and had guacamole, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato. It was well put together and decent, but we thought this was the one item that fell flat for us. Like I said, it was decent, but seemed ordinary and didn't blow us away in anyway. KIDS PEPPERONI FLATBREAD - Another winner here. First of all, this "kid's" flatbread was essentially a personal artisan pizza pie and could have easily fed a single adult. The pizza came out piping hot and was shockingly delicious. Sadly, typically I feel restaurants tend to neglect the kids menu and just give them simple things to eat that don't taste all that great or don't come close to comparing to the regular menu, BUT not here. There were so many roni cups on the pizza that there were tons of them hiding underneath the cheese and stacked 2, 3, 4 deep! KIDS PASTA ELBOW MACARONI WITH CHEESE SAUCE (aka MAC N CHEESE) - Yet, another shockingly good kids menu item. The elbow macaroni came out drowning in hot, gooey cheese. Although it looked quite simple, it was ... and dare I say this ... one of the BEST mac and cheeses I've had in my life. It was very, very good. The food was great, the service was very good and we loved the amount of space inside. There were 4 flat screen TVs, by the bar, for those just wanting to hang out for a drink and there were also outdoor tables as well. Like I said, it's quite shocking that The Office wasn't jammed packed to the gills like Steel Wheel Tavern or any other spot in Ridgewood, but, for us, it was the perfect atmosphere with as good of a menu as anywhere.
