This was my first visit to this Buffalo Wild Wings location. I took a seat at the bar for lunch and was served by a very friendly and efficient bartender. The service and atmosphere was very good, but the food itself was disappointing. I ordered one of the lunch specials which consisted of boneless wings, fries and a soft drink. The fries were good and hot, the drink was diet Pepsi (they only serve Pepsi products) but the wings were pretty bad. They were barely warm and tasted like they were leftovers from the previous night. They were so hard around the edges that I had to request a knife so I could cut them into smaller pieces. The food was served very quickly after I ordered, which at first I thought was a good thing, but now I know it was probably because the leftover chicken was no doubt warmed in a microwave before it was brought out to me. I'll probably try a different Buffalo Wild Wings, but not this one. read more

Went in for wings at BWW in Covington on Pinnacle Parkway 11/29/2018. Requested to have the Blackhawks Hockey game put on 1 TV so I could watch the game. Don't care about football or tennis which was on all of the screens, so asking for "1"TV to be changed should not have been a problem, After asking 3 times, to have it on "1" TV, I was told by the waitress that the manager said NO. REALLY? This is not a 1 sport only restaurant/bar, or are the people who are patrons that insignificant that managers who serve the public can ignore or refuse to put on a sport in a sports bar on "1" TV? There are other restaurants in Covington where I will spend my money, not this one ever again!!!! read more

Awful experience. Service is crap. Most of the time you spend here is sitting waiting with empty drinks and no food because the servers are nowhere to be seen. Will not be coming back. Worst service I've ever had. Our waitress was horrible. The place is so nasty. We sat next to a table that was piled high with dirty dishes and trash. Food took forever and once we finally got it, our food was cold. Forgot both of our sides and no refills until our cup was empty for 20 minutes. No manager in sight. I really love this chain, enough that I used to drive 20 miles to the next town over to get wings, but after three trips to this one, I'm going to avoid it for a while. Food was good all three times, but service was bad to horrible all three times. First time was shortly after they opened. I came in for lunch, got seated fairly quickly, but after the waitress took my drink order, it took 15 minutes for her to come take my food order. Second time I brought my family for dinner. They brought mine and my wifes food, but not my son's. After about 5 minutes I had to flag down our waitress, and when she went to check, she came back to say they lost the order in the kitchen. My son finally got his food about 20 minutes after ours. Today I went in for lunch, ordered a berry lemonade like I always do at lunch, and when the waitress brought my third refill asked did I know that there were no free refills on the lemonades. Every other time I've eaten there, they were free, so I was shocked to find out that I had drank $9 worth. When I told her they had always been free before she told me I was mistaken, they had never been free. It would have been nice to know after the first one, so I could have switched to water. read more

BWW is just getting worse. I think they need to fire everyone and start over. They must cook the wings in the morning for serving all day. They are so tough and dry and taste like they're re-heated from the day before. Don't even waste your time trying to use the online to go ordering. They will get it wrong and there is no option if you want to pay cash when you pick them up. I tried calling to place my to go order (so I could pay cash) 5 times in the course of 20 minutes before anyone answered the phone. As a former waitress/bartender, I NEVER write reviews. Nor do I get upset with crappy service but alas, here we are. My best friend is a wing addict from Metairie so we decided to go to this location since she was on the Northshore today. We ordered an order of wings and a wrap. We came in at 6:15 LEFT AT 8:45. Are you freaking kidding me?! We waited longer than an HOUR for our food when the restaurant wasn't that busy. Furthermore, not once did the waitress come apologize. We had to track her down like a damn Pokemon. When we finally got our food it was late and I had to bring her back to Metairie so we left and upon leaving, heard a family discussing their experience as well. They ALSO waited an hour for their food and were extremely upset. When their food was finally delivered, albeit cold and 5 years later, the waitress spilled their drink all over the food then told the manager it was the customers fault. The manager sided with the waitresses apparently. I still left a tip because you're a horrible human being if you don't, however, it will be a cold day in hell if I step back into this place without some yarn and knitting needles. Seriously, y'all should be ashamed of yourselves and need to get a new kitchen crew. It's wings, not Duck l'orange with a side of poached ostrich egg. This was probably the worst service we have ever experienced. Upon entering, there were people scattered outside of the building waiting, and the story was no different once we were inside. The hostess was cold, unwelcoming, and in a snarky manner let us know that there would be a "25-30 minute wait due to the kitchen being backed up." I asked if I could head to the bar to order a drink while I waited, but was instructed that I was not to go anywhere else seeing how everything was already congested enough as it was, bar included. How is this even possible? I arrived at 7:15pm, on a Thursday night- the night of the preseason opener for the Saints. Of course I expected a wait of some sort, but definitely not what I experienced. There were 10+ tables open, but the hostess stood by her word of not seating anyone until further notice. That changed pretty quickly when an older man sweet talked her into letting him seat himself and order a drink while waiting. This happened not only once, but TWICE! Right in front of my eyes! 8+ parties waiting patiently for a table, and the hostess just seemed to let these older men sway her otherwise. 30 minutes pass, no word on a table. 40 minutes pass, no manager. Are you KIDDING me?! Not a SINGLE manager showed their face to apologize for the absolutely ridiculous predicament we were put in. After waiting for over an hour, we received notice that we would be seated in 5-10 minutes. The worst part is that when sharing my story with others, I was absolutely flooded with comments about similar bad experiences. This was AWFUL management and the worst customer service I'd ever experienced. Not a ton of options here for non- meat folks. However, I can get by with a black bean burger, shrimp poppers , mozzarella sticks( really good), celery & carrot sticks to munch on. I strongly advise against getting the spinach artichoke dip! It was terrible. Otherwise, BW's is a good place to hang out , drink some beer( they have a pretty extensive list) & watch the game. I go to buffalo a lot and I love their food, but it seems like whenever they run out of something that is included with your meal they try to hide it. One time they ran out of ranch and gave me some mayo type sauce and I had them take it back. I also ordered a limited edition BBQ sauce and they put in some random sauce and didn't tell me until after I ate them . I also ordered the chocolate fudge cake before and it come with ice cream and they didn't give me the ice cream. My boyfriend pointed out that there was no ice cream and they told us they ran out. They didn't even tell us so that we could change our mind. They didn't even cut the price of the dessert. read more

If it's wings I'm looking for cooked the way I like them, I go to BWW. I've tried wings from several other area places and BWW has the best. The food is great, the service is not. Almost every time I order take out, my order is screwed up in one way or another. While sitting in the restaurant waiting for my order, I notice there are wait staff walking around and they all look like they hate their job. The girl who took my phone-in order was quite unpleasant and she was borderline rude. I think BWW would be 1,000% better if they had a more friendly & professional staff, and the lack of this is a direct reflection on whoever the current store manager is. He/she should be replaced ASAP, and hire all new staff. read more

Was there a few weeks ago and service was good...last night went with smaller group and the waiter we had was the WORST EVER!!! My roommate went to try and watch his Arizona Cardinals play, as we don't get the game at home and was refused service because of his Arizona ID (we recently moved here). They claimed it was fake, even after looking up photos online that looked identical to the one he has. Manager also refused to speak with him. I've been in the industry for years, what a joke. I eat here about 1-2x a month. These guys know how to do wings, there is probably no one better out there period. The counter to that is that the rest of the food for the most part is average to poor to awful. The grilled chicken is awful, whether in a wrap or a salad - stay away. And that is weird that they do chicken wings so well but the grilled chicken is the worst. The appetizers for the most part are pretty good, nothing spectacular but solid. Burgers, sandwiches and the rest - all about average. You go here for the wings and beer and a few appetizers - stick with that. The core issue is that no one gives a crap at most any BWW - the waiters don't want to be there and it is evident - lazy service, incorrect orders, takes forever at times, etc. Updated 10/1/16: My favorite bartender/server/manager has left - she was the only one who was competent in the place, and she is terrific on all levels. Let me start off by saying I eat at Buffalo Wild Wings on a regular basis. I know the menu by heart and know what portion sizes should be. This is the last time I will EVER come to the Covington location. At first I thought maybe they were understaffed for the night, and then I saw more than 4 waiters. Then we were ignored and had to wait almost 10 minutes to be seated. Had to wait again to even get our drink order and when a waitress FINALLY came over, we decided to order our food too because we knew it would take FOREVER to come out. After placing the order, she came out 3 different times to ask us how we wanted our food brought out (appetizers first or whenever it was ready or all at once). We said whatever is ready, bring it out when it's done. 30 minutes later the only thing that was done was my boyfriend's burger and fries. He ate, we waited. And waited. And waited. And then the food came out. I got a VERY SMALL portion of buffalo chips that could barely be classified as a side (I asked for a basket) and she said "oh, they changed the portions." Like tf? I'm paying $6 for 15 little chips and you didn't have the heart to tell me ahead of time "portion sizes changed?" Bullshit. I should've taken a picture, but I was too hungry after waiting AN HOUR for food. The fried pickles were cold. We never got silverware and my sister-in-law had to eat her salad with her hands. Cheesecake bites were cold. We won't be back and we will be calling to complain. If you're short staffed, never let the customer know. Especially by lack of quality. read more

Never had a good experience here. The first time we went, waited three hours only for our food to come out ice cold and wrong. Tried another time, and waited an hour for a quesadilla and some wings, and cold fries that had been microwaved. When asked to speak to a manager (And trust me, I'm never that person but it was ridiculous and my previous visit left a sour taste in my mouth already) and offered a $5 gift card in exchange for the long wait and the cold food. A group of 7 of us came in for lunch and was seated within a couple minutes. The waitress was very kind and attentive. With a big order like that with different numbers of wings and sauces it could have been difficult but our waitress got it perfect. They had every kind of game on at the time.
