Took the hubby out for a sports season treat, went for a not busy Wednesday night, around 9:30pm (gave us a good hour to dine before pre-closing). Wherever you sit will have big-ass TVs displaying sports network for all to see without stressing your neck any. Music was a good volume and table-upkeep is pretty swift. They deliver on neat metal trays, perfect for sharing and dipping. Guests -- please note that metal conducts heat, so if you touch your tray you may be in for some heat to your fingers. Our server gave us plenty fair warning, but during busier times your server might not say it in time or loud enough for you to process before you go all grabby-grabby and get burny-burned. Use your brain, metal is hot. As for our visit, I got us some damn tasty drinks and went all out on the app sampler and an entree each. Pretty good, we were in Garrett's section and he was pretty speedy and attentive with both service updates and bussing his tables. Bro confidently slid on by to the dishpit with a whopping 6 cup stack singlehanded with a plate stack in his other hand and then slid right back out to tend to a table. From what I saw from the corner, the bartender on closing shift was also very attentive with his bar guests and had a very welcoming vibe. The drinks here are nice and flavorful, could barely taste the alcohol in our cocktails. Very pleasant fruity dinner sippers! Food was delicious, my hubby said the chicken dippers were nice and juicy, and my spicy wings were nice and hottt that mango habanero is sneaky with the spice right at the very end, like a sweet-spicy version of a sour patch kid; first it's sweet n savory, then it murders you. I'd say it's right up there with my hub's family's cooking and they're traditional Thai folks who flat lie to your face when they tell you something ain't spicy Got me tearing up a lil bit and got a refreshing Modelo to finish off the meal I can't say for busy sports nights or dinner rushes since I specifically planned for the pre-closing calm Wednesday night, but from my visit I'd say this place is a very nice snacky dinner spot! read more

Service was not welcoming at all. Servers in the restaurant were friendly with everyone, but me. As the only Latino queer person in the restaurant, it was very obvious I was being treated differently. No eye contact, no engagement, took longer than it should have to come see me & never offered refills. I've been a B-Dubs fan for years, and I was really confused when the wrap came out. It was VERY small. The halves they came in were only about the length of one of the wedges. Hardly bigger than the side sauce cup. Definitely not a $16 meal. The food quality itself was good. It tasted good, and I loved the crisp on the wedges. That's the only reason I gave 2 instead of 1 star. read more

I placed an online order for lunch for my team for $250. I walked in to pick it up, and waited 10-15 minutes and no one appeared at the to go cashier area. There was no bell and no way to alert them so I walked up to the bartender and let him know that I had an online order to pick up and that I'd been waiting a while (there were also two other people waiting). He said the cashiers were busy in the back and he had no idea how long it would be. Mind you, my food was ready and waiting behind the counter. He had an attitude right off the bad. I walked back to the pick up area and let everyone waiting know that they just said it would be a while, but had no idea how long. After a minute or two the surly bartender came out and said to everyone that he had no idea how long it would be, that the cashiers were super busy in back. I asked if I could grab my food as it looked like it was ready right behind the counter. The bartender said, and I quote, "I don't care what you do!" and moved the sign blocking the to go area. I grabbed my order and when the surly bartender asked if I needed help I said absolutely not - I didn't want this man child anywhere near me or my car. He then called me a 'rude person' and told there was no need for me to be rude as nothing was his fault. He kept yelling that I was a rude person and there was no need to be rude. Ok, princess. Look, I know everyone is busy (myself included) but I don't think I'm unreasonable to want to pick up $250 worth of food while it's still hot. Who the heck wants old, congealed fried food for their team? Honestly, I haven't been back to this location in a few years. The service had really gone downhill for a while there and the kitchen tended to be really slow, even when the place was empty. I recently grabbed dinner there with a few friends and I'm happy to report that it's definitely turned around! They remodeled the place and it looks great, everything looks fresh and new. The service was solid and friendly, we never felt rushed even though we hung out for quite a while. The food came out quick and was probably the best wings I've had in a long time. I prefer to eat local but it's kind of hard to find better wings here in Anchorage. They're hard to beat on consistency and just the large variety of sauces. I think they'll be back in my regular rotation, at least when I'm craving wings! read more

On superbowl Sunday folks-BWW management and staff were laser focused on excellent service regardless of who you were cheering for. Besides being on top of food and drink orders, the wings being amazing, and the atmosphere welcoming to all, the floor manager participated heavily in supporting staff and serving the patrons well into overtime. It is something to see this type of dynamic operate successfully where staff are empowered while knowing they are the backbone of the business/franchise. Kudos to a great team Plenty of great beers on tap, and also Budweiser. It's a wing place, get wings. Mix and match flavors etc., and staff will explain how they differ and bring you samples!! I realized I haven't reviewed in several years and after the last few times were pretty bad, I guess it's time to update. Went in for a quick bite for lunch. We were the first ones in when they opened. While the server was nice, we didn't get sweetener for tea, and the two of us that ordered wings didn't get our wings brought to us until our other friend was done with his lunch. We were told they were taking longer because we asked for them to be extra crispy... which they were not! There was zero crunch to the wings whatsoever and seasoning was minimal, barely noticeable on the dry rub order. Even when I mentioned to the server, he said he'd let the kitchen know. No refills on drinks, no to-go box and after we sat and sat ignored, we all stood to get his attention and he finally came by. He was gone for 5 minutes to run the credit card and I still didn't get a to-go box. I ended up wrapping my mediocre wings in paper to take home and I'll throw in the air fryer later. Walked in and we were told to seat our selves which we were fine with that. Our server came over after a few moments and asked if we wanted drinks and since we were on a work lunch we ordered some soda and plain water. There was 3 in our party so we came to a conclusion pretty quick to what we we're having. We waited for our server and finally she came back to take our order. Once we received our lunch our server EM came back once to see if we wanted anything else and one of our parties wanted a refill we'll then we never saw the server again... had to ask another wait staff for a to go container and the bill then the refill of the soda came as we were leaving! A few more on the order would not cost much or make the veggies bottomless so you know they will not be wasted. Side dishes are few and come from a package. Trash! Just as I thought. Even when I give a low review I try to return to see if things have improved. This time around I didn't dine in, but ordered via Doordash. The best part of our meal was the fancy to-go boxes everything came in. Both drink orders were incorrect. Nachos with only sour cream was delivered, despite me paying the up-cost for added chicken. Thankfully, Doordash refunds easily, but the fault is clearly with BWW. It's unfortunate, the lower 48 BWW's get much praise in comparison to this location. It is what it is. Go to Peanut Farm for the sports bar. Go anywhere else for wings and tenders. When I call they always have an excuse..last time the manager said they were training...what about the other 7 times? A coworker friend and I come here for lunch before our shift at least once a week. It's not too busy for us to get an hour & half of just talking sports, life & laugh about the dumb stuff we encounter throughout work. We always want to sit in the area that Geena works cause she is awesome! She knows what we usually get as well as our drink order. The wings & onion rings are cooked to our satisfaction every time so hats off to the cooks as well. The manager Jessie is attentive to the patrons and is funny as heck! Wow just wow. So customer service at the door is well it's not there. I have been in multiple times and waited at the front door 10 to 15 minutes before someone even came out. Your best bet is to wander around endlessly in the bar and find a seat. They have changed the pricing structure of Tuesday nights. But then they also changed how many wings you get in the basket. This is different from what it is on the website or the app. Which is frustrating. The resturant is DIRTY! Tables were not cleaned. So much food/crumbs all over the floor. Seen a worker just take her hands and fling the left over onto the floor. I ordered BWW for takeout and was very happy and surprised. The delivery arrived very quickly, a good 20 minutes ahead of the estimated time. The delivery person followed my instructions perfectly by leaving the bag at the door, ringing the doorbell, and leaving. All the food arrived in great condition. Everything was consistent and nicely packaged. The blue cheese sides are a joke, they're tiny. The veggies are high quality, but also a little skimpy on volume. As much as the wings cost the veggie and dip sides should be larger. The wings are pretty good! I don't usually care for boneless wings, but on bogo boneless Thursday it's right up my alley. These are the best boneless wings I've found. Not only that, but BWW's blazin sauce is the second hottest commercial wing sauce I've experienced. I'm very impressed, and every time I hit up BWW I have to have an order of the blazin. They are HOT though, so I like to pair them with a milder set of wings for balance, such as the mild or hot traditional. This was my first time trying the salt and vinegar wings, and I really enjoyed them! Usually sauceless wings aren't my thing, and these still reminded me more of tendies than wings, but they were pretty good. Now, what made them go from pretty good to killer was when I busted out the apple cider vinegar to dip my tendies in; reeeeee! Tasty tendies! This place was just...wow... I've been to lots of BDubs over the years in Ohio (where I think they started) and in Florida. Usually, the service is good, the beer is cold, and the wing sauces are decent. One of the biggest bummers about BDubs is that they won't mix sauces. They will let you split up orders (Half Parmesan Garlic, half spicy garlic for instance). What strikes me as weird (at this location) is their lack of a beer list. Let me explain: Most places have a printed beer list that allows you see all the options they have on tap. Sometimes they have a chalkboard or tv screen with the options. BDubs had a booklet with maybe a third (and that's generous) of the beer they had. The one beer they were advertising in the booklet AND on a sign at the door was out. Maybe take the sign down at the front door? I'll save you the conversation I had with the server and just say that I had to go to the bar to look at the bottle and draft options, then go back to the table and wait for the server to return so I could place my drink order. It was a confusing and ridiculous process for a place that has so many beer choices. The food was typical bar food. Normally BDubs seems a little expensive, but luckily for them, they fit right into the prices for Alaska. So that's nice at least. Service was spotty at best. I'm sure the server was irritated with me for being irritated with how complex the process was. But with the hassle and sub par food, I can't imagine that this will be a regular location for me. This is the forth time in the last 3 months we have ordered for to-go and the order has been incorrect when we get home. Tonight we called the order in. I was impressed because I didn't even have to ask for the order to be repeated back. It was, and it was verbally confirmed it was correct. I ordered the "chicken buffalitos" which are chicken tacos with your choice of sauce. I love the garlic parmesan. My husband got home and I ended up with a crispy chicken wrap that not only did not have ANY garlic parmesan sauce but also was not what I ordered. Im not one to complain. I've gone thru this 3 times prior without saying anything. But herhaps the staff needs to be educated on the menu prior to taking orders and putting them to the kitchen to be made. Let's also add that it was still an hour+ prior to close and the bartender asked my husband if he needed anything. He ordered a beer but never got it because he watched her put away glasses and close down her area instead of serving a paying customer. I've been to at least 20 different Bdubs throughout the country, and the crew at the Anchorage location is the best crew I've ever been served by. It's rare to be met with even mediocre service at most establishments these days, but the service here was nothing short of exceptional. Even for a busy Sunday gameday, the staff here was rocking and rolling; they were never too busy to engage with customers, ensure the quality of their orders, and running around getting those small extra things done for the customers. Bree, Dustin, Wa, and the rest of the gang are at the top of their game. I'd venture to say this staff is probably one of the best in town of any restaurant as far as customer service goes. What a refreshing reprieve from places where the service staff acts like they're going out of there way to do their jobs. This is one of those places I never go to on my own and only end up at for the occasional obligatory after-work social gathering. Last time I went with coworkers, we were seated in a dark corner. Maybe the waitress forgot our party of seven was even there and that's why it took forever to get our drinks and wings. The only benefit of this was that we were far from the bar and the dudebros watching sports so it was unusually quiet. I'm not a particuarly big fan of chicken wings so these were nothing special to me. Some of the sauces were pretty good, but not good enough to make me want to go back. We had a very large group. After our wrestling state tournament we came to feed the kids and chill. Brandy was our waitress and she was amazing. BDubs was seriously understaffed for the regulars as well as two very large wrestling groups and they did a fantastic job under the circumstances. Will return next time we travel here.
