Hubby and I stopped in for late lunch because I was craving a steak salad, and there was one on the menu. Hubby had a 1/4 burger with fries and commented about what a good burger it was. The steak salad? First mouthful had me cringe with the amount of sour! The lime vinaigrette was overwhelming. I stirred up the ingredients, which were all quite tasty, and it helped disarm the intense lime taste. Stealing my hub's fries also helped. Then I placed a savory piece of steak in my mouth, and chewed, and chewed, and chewed. What a disappointing piece of meat. Great taste, mind you, but chewy, grizzly steak that ultimately ended up as a bolus in the napkin. Speaking of napkins, make good use of the one you get with the utensils. The ambiance was roomy, cool, and friendly. Though I thought it unnecessary to put the party of 8 right next to us, as there was plenty of room. Several screens of various sizes displayed baseball games galore. Clean, spacious, and a bit noisy. We'll probably go back sometime. If I order a salad it'll be with dressing "on the side." And I think I'll have either a chicken dish, or the burger.

This is my favorite spot in Anchorage. Service is personable and genuine, food is portioned well, delicious and affordable. Consistent cocktails. Great atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. I will continue to come here every time I come to Anchorage from "down south" (Soldotna area). My favorite are their wings, fresh salads, chowder bowl, and Loco Moco but honestly... All of it's a win! 5/5 - I highly recommend 907 Alehouse! Bring the whole family or dine alone - you won't regret it.

Hibachi Tacos

We had the Nachos, Buffalo Wings and Hibachi Tacos. The Nachos were excellent, very tasty and a large portion. The Wings were basically a dry rub (not my thing) flavorful but not very spicy. the Tacos were good but the pineapples seemed "off" not juicy? just didn't seem right. The service was ok, nice gal, friendly, order taken in a decent time frame. the food came out quickly, but our waitress didn't refill our water and took forever to collect the payment. fun bar with lots of atmosphere, lots of TV's. not too loud.

Great big restaurant / sports bar. We came in at lunch time and sat at the bar. I was surprised how many people were there mid day on a week day. The bar tender greeted us immediately and took our drink order. These tots are amazing, highly recommend. Bar tender was kind and the food was priced fairly. I don't drink but they have a huge selection of beers on tap.

3rd time here in 3 weeks. Love the kitchen sink nacho's, the ambiance. Lots of draft beer.

was thoroughly impressed by 907 Ale House, a hidden gem in Anchorage that offers a fantastic mix of great food, a lively atmosphere, and a solid beer scene at night. The restaurant stands out with its variety of menu options and daily specials, keeping things exciting, but what truly blew me away was the cheeseburger--easily the best I've had in Alaska. After years of searching for a great burger spot, with Red Robin being my only decent option, 907 Ale House finally delivered with a hometown, made-with-care feel that's hard to find. The beer selection is another highlight, boasting a large variety of taps, which is rare in Anchorage, especially since most breweries close at 9 PM due to local laws. Thankfully, 907 Ale House stays open until 11 PM on weekends, making it a perfect late-night option. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, whether you're there for a casual dinner or hanging out at the bar, and the friendly, helpful staff adds to the welcoming experience. Overall, 907 Ale House is a must-visit, offering a great meal, a fantastic beer selection, and a rare late-night hangout spot. The cheeseburger alone is worth the trip, and the overall experience makes it one of my new favorite places in the city. Highly recommend!

Some girl with curly hair and nose piercing had a attitude with me and was really racist I stg I'm never going to this place again the food was mid and the customer service sucked so much I'll rather go eat bag of nails then have to deal with that again and mind you I was only on vacation and this place was recommended to me by family I should have stayed home ‍ If you the company has any questions about my experience please reach me angelmart7@icloud.com

Came down here for lunch earlier while running errands. Rafelitos is located on W. 91st Ave and…read moreKing St. between Costco and Target at the old Fire Island bakery location behind the Anchorage Brewery. The dining area has high ceilings surrounded by glass windows. This is great during sunny days, but during winter, when daylight is short, it can be blinding from the west side when the sun goes down. The glare was especially strong when ordering at the counter and even the cooks in the kitchen had a difficult time as the grills face the dining area with the sun right in their faces. The employees were friendly and extremely busy as they were helping customers in the dining area as well as a private party next door. Rather than a physical copy of the menu, there are screens above the front counter displaying the menu selections to place your order. I ordered the Weekend Special of Birria Tacos and Consomme (hand-pressed fried corn tortillas with brisket and back rib meat, cilantro, and onions accompanied with a cup of bone marrow consomme for dipping) and a friend of mine who came along ordered the Carnitas Taco Special at $7.50/crispy or soft taco. We found a table close to the front door and fortunately seats facing away from the afternoon glare. All the tables are long bar-style tables with stools which takes up a lot of space when you're navigating to the counter to place an order. Dining tables for a party of 2-4 would be more ideal in a setting like this. The 15 minute wait was reasonable, given how busy the kitchen was with diners and takeout orders being worked on. The food was delicious. The Birria Tacos were juicy and tender with melted cheese and the Consomme added additional flavor akin to au jus for a French Dip sandwich. My friend enjoyed the Carnitas Tacos. What made this order unique was that the Carnitas included what looked like bacon bits and pork belly in the tacos. That looked amazing. I will have to try that out on the next visit. Some of the standout selections include the Street Corn (topped with mayo, Cotija cheese, tortilla strips and salsa Macha), Pork Belly Tacos (roasted garlic, jalapeno aioli, shaved cabbage, cilantro, and salsa), 1lb. Burritos with choice of meat on a 13-inch(!!!) flour tortilla with cilantro, onions, and two sides of salsa...( We all know how big a 10-in pizza from Moose's Tooth looks like, so you can imagine how big this burrito is at 13-in AND you have an option for extra meat!), and the Chocoflan (chocolate cake topped with flan, whipped cream, and a cherry). It should be noted that this establishment originated in Tijuana and got the inspiration for their recipes working with well-known Mexican chefs throughout the country.

Trivia: Ralfy Quepons, according to Rafelitos story on their website, grew up where?…read more Seriously great food. I was not prepared for the shear quality and flavor. I wasn't prepared for the ordering process. It was kind of a mess. Let me explain: I walked in and the first table full of people was REALLY close to the door. Threw me off. I worked my way around them. Then I walked past the kitchen/cooking area toward the thing that made the most sense. The bar area. There was a register, a counter, and a person...looking at me. But no. He told me to order at the other counter. So I walked over and grabbed the paper menu lying on the counter. But it wasn't a menu, it was their produce order from Charlie's produce. So I stood there awkwardly until someone asked to take my order and I asked for the menu, which was above me on a tv screen. And that's the last bad thing. Now I'll know. (And so do you) Amazing food. Cold beer. You'll love it.

I tried the chicken (x2) tacos and the nopal (cactus). The chicken was really good. Tender, juicy and flavorful with the salsas. The cactus was decent, but i felt could use more spices/seasoning. Definitely like the hot sauce more than the mild. The hot tasted like mild and i thought the mild salsa was sort of like a bland V8. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean. I would describe the interior as "spartan" and not really cosy. It didn't have that eclectic colourful look common to many Mexican restaurants, and nor were they playing the Mexican kind of music either. Tables and chairs were plain wood. Their large parking lot was full, however when we got inside, only one other table was occupied, so I'm not sure who was using their parking lot, but it wasn't diners. It was brightly lit though, and we got a table near the window so I could look outside. Considering only two tables were occupied, it took an inordinately long time for someone to come and take our order. I ordered the Southwest Tacos (crispy) and asked for ground beef, these were $5, I wasn't really sure how many would be served, and assumed possibly two? I also order the Parmesan cilantro fries to be my side. Husband got the Serrano's Burrito with carnitas, this came with rice and beans. We also ordered chips and salsa which was served immediately. There were lots of chips, 3 salsas and pico de gallo. The food came out very quickly, and our server was very nice. I got 1 taco (had I known I was only getting 1, I'd have paid extra to get 2) Ok, the positive - the fries were plentiful, and nice and crispy, but I was disappointed that the Parmesan was the kind out of a jar, that you shake on. I had built myself up to melted grated Parmesan, and I didn't find much cilantro either, and I love cilantro. Fortunately there was plenty in the salsa, and so I just dipped my fries in that. My taco was disappointing. The ground beef was bland, lacked seasonings, and the taco was just not very filled with things. He loved his Burrito, pronounced it delicious. I tried his rice and beans. The rice was decent, but the beans were too smooth and homogenous for my taste - I like them to have some lumpy bits of bean in. Another plus - they were playing really good music. Totally my taste (but not my husbands) as I like more modern music. Current tunes, stuff I'd have on my playlist in my car, to torture my husband with, so i liked that. Good. Service, after initially waiting a while, and food came out fast after we ordered + decent music. Food could be improved though.

You'd be surprised how often that little detail gets ignored at other breakfast/brunch places. I loved the different sauces, salsa, pickled onions, and even sour cream self-service bar from which I helped myself to some of their delicious avocado sauce and molcajete sauce.
